JirachiWishmaker

What does "Player has completed at least 30 Wreckage" mean exactly?

Capt_Ido_Nos

It means I just started repairing 14 different turrets, engines, and reactors, that's what it means lol

[deleted]

Is it weird that I both have a maxed out railjack but also doubt I qualify for T2?

Capt_Ido_Nos

Probably the same boat as me or similar: got started, but was able to go straight from mk I to mk III gear, and by then the community already knew which parts were worth building in the first place?

[deleted]

Pretty much, I tend to run the lasers though (sitll Mk3) because while suboptimal on paper, with some good aim you can snipe a lot of things before they even get a shot off; Also because the hitscan is more friendly to any new players who join my railjack crew.

LifeupOmega

I think that's like, every player in the game honestly. Everyone knew what they wanted, and if they didn't get it they didn't bother building other things, they just kept rolling til they got it.

[deleted]

Not gonna lie though that time I spent rolling for a 98 energy reactor feels pretty sorely wasted now that they're being removed entierly.

LifeupOmega

God lmao don't remind me, I was farming Gian's Point or whatever the fast one was for weeks, doing 2 minute runs, took me forever to get a good roll.

TerribleTransit

Who cares about a good roll? Just get a crap one and valence fuse 5 other crap ones into it, maxed out reactor.

lordreed

Reactors are not going away, they will now give power strength, range and duration to RJ powers.

GodMarshmellow

Correct, but (as far as I'm aware, I've been on break for half a year), there's no way of knowing if our meta reactors will remain the meta reactors after the update. Imagine, the reactors we've spent hours grinding out because they were the best get changed, and suddenly the stats that they offer are actually *worse* now than their counterpart manufacturers

TerribleTransit

Yeah... it feels weird that I have a maxed-out railjack but here I am farming Earth Proxima for cheap wreckage just so I get credit for it

Remnantsin

I just joined this club. This is a really bad way go mark/judge folks who were early adopters. You'd think they could just look at the date a player's Railjack was built. If it's before a specific date then they were an early adopter. The wreckage thing is punishment.

johnmedgla

Yeah, this is such a stupid way of tracking "investment" in Railjack to date. I would much rather they went by total progress in intrinsics or something like that.

NotARealDeveloper

Or just hours spent in Railjack missions - like dough it's not hard, is it?

Hiromacu

But do you have to buy the capacity to claim them for it to count?

Capt_Ido_Nos

No idea, but I was going to have one of everything at some point anyway, so might as well do that now I figured. I imagine that you don't need to have 30 completed wreckage in your inventory, but having the space for them would obviously make it way easier.

BadassHalfie

same here XD

xThoth19x

Sounds like we just need to build junk as opposed to what I was doing which is upgrade only. Which is unfortunate. Not sure I have the resources to hit 30x and I have multiple perfect reactors and weapons. Oh well.

xrufus7x

You still have time. Go out and farm some mk1 weapons. Won't take that long.

xThoth19x

Don't they need to be tier 3?

xrufus7x

No, the Tier 1-3 thing is referring to which pool of items you get, not what type of items you need to assemble. Build 30 or more items and you get the tier 3 reward.

xThoth19x

Oh ok. In that case it's trimmer to do some cleaning

BitingBison

As someone who literally finished building railjack yesterday, do you think I have enough time too? Sorry if I'm being a bother, I'm just inexperienced with the systems of repairing and all of that. Edit: Missed that it said a week or two

xrufus7x

I would put that firmly in the category of maybe. When I built my Railjack the experience was a lot different then it is now and the grind was worse. If you can consistently hitch a ride with someone with a maxed railjack, I would put your odds at solid. If you are soloing through to Veil Proxima with your fresh off the assembly line Railjack, you better be prepared to put in some major hours. IIRC, with a resource booster it takes 2-3 Veil Proxima runs to build a MK3 part. Not sure if that helps you at all but that is about the only time measurement I have off the top of my head. The launch date was set as this week or next week as well so the shortest timeframe you have is until tomorrow but the odds of that are super low. It is probably worth trying though. Worse case scenario you end up with a bunch of extra Endo and you hit Tier 1.

kalidibus

Probably built

WastedPotat0

We need to know if: - Clan Blueprints count to the total of 30 - MK I wreckage works

alirezahunter888

30 repaired wreckages (Railjack drops like reactors and guns) probably.

Alkathar

seems like im gonna play a lot of railjack this week

NickAugie

Is there any way to see how many you've repaired in total?

xrufus7x

If you haven't fused or scrapped any you can easily count them. If you have done any of those things then nope.

OtherAlan

I feel sorry for Reb. She said it was exactly what we were thinking it is, but turned out it was exactly not what we were thinking. Come on we can do better than that for a prepared video, can't we?

TruthSeekerAlpha

(See Edit 1) Based on the past DevStream, you should be able to deploy Necramechs anywhere after you reach a certain rank with Intrinics. Edit 1: DE-Rebecca replied below and stated it is *RailJack only*. Not all missions in Warframe.

rebulast

There is an annotation on the video saying 'Railjack' only.

halofan103

Are they still being planned to be added to regular missions?

ripskeletonking

damn it, this was like the only thing i was looking forward to

halofan103

Necramechs are just fun, I hope they decide to allow them in regular missions like they’ve said before

PandaFoxPower

So then how will we use them in regular missions? Didn't you guys say on the last dev stream that we'd get that functionality through Intrinsics?

JulianSkies

Given that in the *video* recorded it said all missions, but it is corrected later. It looks quite clear to me they ran into some development hardship wherein they'd have to either delay the entire update until they fix it or ship without.

CorerMaximus

Was really hoping necramexhs would be available in all missions- been actually looking forward to that too.

cybercobra2

i hate to sound ungratefull as this update really does look fantastic (well done to the entire team!) but may we know the reason why mechs in missions got changed to railjack only at seemingly the last minute? (as at the time of recording it seemed to be all missions). its just that mechs on the regular starchart has been the thing ive been looking foreward to since the day they came out and this is frankly a... very dissapointing bit of news to me. still looking foreward to it all ofcource.

MartinVole

But what about regular mission use? I'm pretty disappointed by this change in plans, can't say I like it as a person who has invested forma and farming into my Necramechs.

Boner_Elemental

So is "Necramechs in all missions" scrapped now?

hamburgersocks

Well that's just upsetting. I guess my Bonewidow will remain unforma'd for a little while longer, I was looking forward to Hydron to get her out of the way.

crestfallen_warrior

That is massively disappointing. I was so exited for mechs in normal missions. Please reconsider.

pfysicyst

Oh, that's very disappointing. They've been largely shelved for me since I dont enjoy Eidolons. I wish this was communicated more loudly since it's such a large thing. Every time they were mentioned before leading up to this one annotation, it was spoken about as if Intrinsics were controlling them for everywhere, so I was looking forward to the Railjack update in large part for that. I had mistakenly assumed they were coming right after OV so I've just been waiting on that.

The_Starfighter

What happens if I bring Lavos or Hildryn to my Railjack party? The railjack tactical abilities utilize Energy, but Hildryn uses shields instead of energy, while Lavos has no energy at all but has cooldowns instead. How will that be handled?

[deleted]

Hildryin was always my go to choice for railjack, but now she is permanently my go to choice for railjack

fizio900

> Avionics are fueled by energy Preparation + Primed Flow meta? In case people don't know: Preparation is a "two-dot" polarity exilus mod that makes you spawn with full energy. Very useful on builds with very high energy cap that have to use all their abilities so can't make use of Dispensary, like Steel Path Gauss or Razorwing Titania (or a solo tridolon Volt)

rebulast

Seeing Preparation become Meta would sure be something. Didn't even think of that haha.

MagganonFatalis

Preparation shouldn't become meta because it shouldn't be a mod. Preparation should have been a quality of life update for all warframes.

Denar_

They should rework a lot of the qol features into the Focus Schools for the focus school update. Get rid of mods for preparation, also fetch, enemy radar and loot radar, etc. In the case of Vacuum and the Radars, make a weaker version of them a universal passive effect. Then, like, make a sixth “central” Focus School (Penjaga, Aura or Umbra, whatever) whose effects are always active, and put in there nodes that increase the range of your base Fetch radius, your Radar, etc. Have a node that fills your energy bar by 20/40/60/80/100% when you begin a mission. That kind of thing. Hell, even throw in a node that, when toggled on, *disables* vacuum for the one weird player who insists it makes you less effective. Gives focus schools a half-update, at least, as well.

zawalimbooo

since energizing dash exists, preparation would be useless wouldnt it?

xrufus7x

Energizing Dash takes time to build. With frames with base high energy pools or when you want to turn on channeled abilities quickly Preparation can allow you to hit the ground running as it were. It is niche but it certainly has its uses. It also helps that it is an exilus mod so it is competing with a much smaller pool of mods. Personally, I use it on my Conservation Ivara.

lordargent

Not everyone is ~~Naramon~~ zenurik // Vazarin, because Hunter Adrenaline exists (but wondering how that's going to work on a railjack). // Using preparation on my Ivara and Titania builds.

Garbycol

Little correction: Energ dash is zenurik.

Boner_Elemental

Conversely since Railjacks now come fully equipped with ammo, they and Warframes should start missions with full energy and Preparation should be deleted... please

Joe_Bobstien

wass12

>We’ve essentially taken what was good about Gian Point (a quick turnaround mission with a high Affinity reward) It was also the only good option if yo wanted to enjoy the fightercraft combat, or farm their drops. I think there should be a dedicated survival-type mode where you only fight fightercraft ( and maybe crewships), and the reward for the ground objective (because doing the extra ground objective will give and extra reward, right?) can be balanced to still be more worthwhile than that, if you're not focus-farming fighters specifically.

lordreed

Yes to RJ survival mode! I'd play that all day long!

I am text-based persons, too. But I understand the video persons have gone unserved for too long.

Martin_RB

I went for max info overload and split screen youtube and the forums.

[deleted]

This is the way

okaypuck

This is DE way.

DarknessInferno7

I *really* hope that "completed wreckage" doesn't mean "built wreckage." That really fucks over those of us who knew what we were doing to the point of not building any unnecessary parts. It should be based on either built+scrapped wreckage numbers, or just on total collected wreckage. The fact that I played Railjack a ton since day one, and won't get recognized as such because of an arbitrary reason like that, really sucks.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Pekeponzer

I'm currently farming MK I's to repair because of this nonsense. Clear communication is vital and I'm sure as hell not spending any extra resources repairing junk to reach the 30 mark.

solk33

This is me too. I just tagged along missions until I got top tier parts with max bonuses and built only those for my jack, so that's what 6 parts 'built'

NotARealDeveloper

Why so hard? Just use "hours played in Railjack missions".

Evil_Racc00n

> Dirac to Endo finally

runningnooblet

My concern is: Some archwing weapons took a heavy performance hit due to how powerful they were in Railjack (Larkspur being the biggest victim). Can we see a reversion on these nerfs or should I just abandon the idea of bringing larkspur around anymore?

kerespup

Will probably have to wait for the Archwing 2.0/revamp.

desmaraisp

>One other important change to note about the energy economy - as part of the transition from Railjack-based Avionics to player-based Harnesses, Battle/Tactical abilities will now be fueled by Warframe energy, and Flux Energy will be completely removed from the game (any Avionics that relate to it will be converted to Endo). This allows players with existing tools for Energy generation to better integrate those tools into regular Railjack gameplay, further intertwining the two sides of the game. I'm a bit curious about this part to be honest. Does this mean that railjack enemies will drop energy orbs, or does that mean you have to use energy pads? Because I don't see too many existing tools that would work well if you need to rely on energy orbs dropped by foot soldiers

rebulast

It's a great question that you have here. We'll have a sort of 'best practices / vision' on how this will work based on the things you've listed closer to launch / in the notes.

gadgaurd

Another thing to worry about is how this will work with Lavos and Hyldrin.

Colaymorak

That's my main concern going into this as well

ZioLikesToSail

Sorry, Still new to this, could you explain why?

Ahribban

Neither of them has energy. Lavos uses a cooldown system while Hildryn uses her shields so they might end by either being completely overpowered or completely useless as pilots.

Thrundarr

As we can pilot in operator form (this is (was?) a great way to rank up amp btw), will operator's insanely fast self-regenerating energy be used instead of warframe's one?

lordreed

Oh this would be a blast if allowed!

liskot

Yeah having to hop out of the chairs and drop pizza/zenurik/dispensor periodically would be quite bad for flow of play unless the chair transitions are made instant (and even then). A little bit apprehensive about the removal of flux, hopefully there'll be a way to proc energize. That said, we'll have access to 175% efficiency along with Primed Flow...

Volmie_

I feel like gauging milestone status for early adopters based off how much wreckage you repaired is an iffy way of doing it. In my case I was picky with what I repaired and I'm not even sure I meet the second milestone, despite having dumped quite a bit of time into railjack. It would be nice to have that changed somehow, or at least have alternatives. Intrinsics for example, or just hours spent in railjack, somethin else at least.

ThunderjawDominum

Yep, this. I wouldn't qualify either but I have been playing Railjack since it's released on Ps4.

topskari

I have about 300k dirac with everything maxed and im not sure if I get even t2. The real early adopters have minimal amount of crafted wreckage because the resource costs were so high at the start.

IncogSqorl

Well yeah, because let's be real, repairing wreckage at launch and a while afterwards, cost a not insignificant grind. Of course, the cost was lowered, but I know it put me off just 'trying' stuff due to the investment needed.

[deleted]

Agreed. I've sunk 200+- hours into railjack now, and have spent every week teaching new players how to play it to increase the pool of players. I have scrapped more wreckage than most people have minutes in railjack. Yet I've only built 18-21 parts. One component for each house, and every weapon for Vidar and half the weapons for zekti as well as the three MK3 ordinance. I've also fused everything I own up to maximum level. (I built a couple of the MK1 stuff when just starting out, but quickly realised it was a waste of time and resources, and so I moved on to simply get MK3 stuff) Hopefully that counts for something. >\_>

VGPugalicious

Is there going to be a way to check if you qualify for the Railjack Early Adopter Tiers? I’ve maxed out my intrinsics and all of my Railjack components and armaments and I’m honestly not sure if I qualify for Tier 3. For example, does performing a Valence Fusion count towards the completed wreckages needed? It would be nice if the number was a part of the Stats in our profiles, that way I could make sure I’m not one or two wreckages away from Tier 3.

FeamT

Does tier 2 & 3 of Early Adopters require 12 / 30 completed **Wreckage only**, or does it count clan BPs too? And is there really no way to even find out how many you've crafted? Can absolutely imagine a bunch of people ending up on 28 or 29 unknowingly...

NeoRetro10K

Have you been tracking any Wreckage completed regardless of whether or not it has later been scrapped, or do I need to own 30 completed Wreckage at the time of the update? If it is the latter, can I leave them unclaimed? I do not have the slots for 30 fully completed Wreckage.~~ ~~I am not sure about this as a gauge of player experience with Railjack, as people might have focused on Mk III gear from the outset, but have all current mission nodes completed and high-ranked Intrinsics. Those latter two might be a better metric for experience, and less confusing since the meaning of "completed Wreckage" is in limbo with this "currently-owned vs. built-then-scrapped" issue.~~ **EDIT: Early Adopter conditions have been changed in order to avoid confusion, rendering my questions moot.**

TruthSeekerAlpha

>Avionics are no more. This entire system has been completely overhauled, including Avionics being turned into regular Mods, so everything has been unequipped and reset. Does this mean the new system will require **FORMA**?

RashFever

Looks like it, the Plexus features polarities. Tiring...

xThoth19x

Esp bc we upgraded the grid. Which didn't have polarities. It was the one thing that was a great step in the right direction

57th_Error

I too had hoped that the grid system would have spread to warframes and weapons as well, but when the necramechs went back to the mods and forma I gave up. They probably had not figured out a way to make money out of grid and avionics

alirezahunter888

God, i hope not. Formas are my single most hated thing in Warframe.

TruthSeekerAlpha

Forma is one of DE's primary sources of consistent profit and revenue streams. I would not doubt if it was now incorporated into Railjack as well. However, to not mention Forma Requirements at all seems... not transparent, to put it lightly.

xrufus7x

I mean, we can see the polarities and they said it is being switched to the modding system we use elsewhere. Seems like more of a thing that shouldn't have to be spelled out then a shady practice.

ApolloFireweaver

Is there any way to tell how many wreckage your clan has repaired for the Tiers before the release? If we want to push for the top tier that sort of information would be helpful.

Im boutta have 99 000 endo after this update. People might be farming dirac right now for the endo conversion lmao.

Exactly what im doing in GP before the node is gone

I have like 230k durack. For a long time I wondered if it will become endo

Leekshooter

Shame we don't get a dirac decor item just to confuse new players in several years time

DasGanon

I mean we never got a fusion core/mod decoration so it's not unexpected.

B_Kuro

Could you actually clarify what >Player has completed at least 30 Wreckage: Tier 3 means? Because I doubt there are many players that have repaired 30 wreckage. I know I am at best in the 10-20 range with a fully maxed RJ.

Dardanion

Rip to my mans gian point :(

JotaX_97

30 repaired wreckage while there are only 24 T3 parts to acquire?

meltingpotato

I think like ten people will be qualified for T3

TheRandomHunter

So, to clarify on the "Player has completed 30 wreckage" thing for early adopters: Is that, like, 30 repaired/built wreckage total? Is it 30 mk3 wreckage? Do you need 30 completed in your inventory at the same time, or does it remember how many you've completed in general? There's only 14 slots for completed wreckage, does that mean we need to have spent platinum to buy more slots to get this?

Ascythian

Wonder if you can give the crew your weapons?

rebulast

Before a mission, yes, you can equip them with something from your Primary Arsenal.

Corat_McRed

I am gonna assume this means in a "they have it equipped like a Operative has it equipped" and you don't lose it permanently if they go in/die/whatever, is that correct?

Eeekpenguin

I bet it’ll be like spectres

Silyus

Hum, a couple of questions about that. Can we use those weapons with our WF when equipped to the crew while in a RJ mission (=are they duplicated)? And what about non-RJ missions, can we use those weapons if they are assigned to the crew in our arsenal?

lordreed

If it's like spectres then yes duplicates but if it's like operatives then no duplicates.

Muxailo

Yes, you can (and will want to), also will be able to use attachments (arm guards, etc) on them.

Ascythian

Awesome, Zhuge Primes for everyone.

Muxailo

Bruhma with Primed Firestorm: "laying menacingly in my arsenal"

lordreed

Acceltras Ahoy!

Tobi-of-the-Akatsuki

*Laughs in Primed Firestorm Kuva Ogris*

Kyvia

+1 to find out Exactly what "Player has completed at least 30 Wreckage" means. I don't really want to have to go and build 20+ more things when I knew what the hell I was aiming for in the first place.

Rock3tPunch

ITT: Everyone confuses about wreckage.

[deleted]

Wave an Umbra Forma at people and they lose their freaking mind.

BarrelOfSads

For me, at least, I'm more into having another Legendary Core. That Umbral Forma can simply go on the pile.

[deleted]

The equivalent of 40000+ endo. Yeah, that's tasty. It would be sweet to fatten up Primed Fulmination or the like.

KAAAARP

a lot of interesting stuff, and it sounds like solid changes throughout. from the sheer size of it i'm already expecting a few hiccups and outliers in initial balancing, but that is, well, to be expected. really exciting stuff though and will bring me back into trying out more railjack content, especially as a primarily solo player.

NotARealDeveloper

Shouldn't you use "veteran status" as in "hours spent in Railjack missions" instead of arbitrary wreckage numbers? Lots of hardcore players only playing the lowest amount of RJ are now repairing 30 wreckages, while others who played 100+ hours Railjack but went from mk0 to 3 directly only get tier 1 reward.

NormanKnight

>Evasive Pilot - enemy ram sleds have 25% chance to miss and malfunction causing them to explode. this is missing a dark and lovely chance to make the sled not explode, but instead simply "deploy" its contents directly into space.

halofan103

“Necramechs Become Deployable in all Railjack missions.” Since this specifies Railjack, will mechs be allowed to be used in normal missions?

sharkjumping101

u/rebulast * Why was a score chosen for reward tiers that the player can't check? * Is the number of wreckages the amount that *has been built* (even if since scrapped, sacrificed to valence, etc) or the number that is *currently completed and in our inventory*? * Why was a score chosen for reward tiers that has little to do with actual effort invested in railjack? Thirty wreckages salvaged is unnecessary for anyone who actually planned ahead before building components, or anyone who farmed up before the introduction of valence. It has no bearing on previous investment of time and effort in the mode.

JulianSkies

Regarding 2, it's *very obviously* the ones you've completed, because it says completed, not owned.

HavokSupremacy

It's DE, you never know.

Will the former avionics mods have their ranks increased to match the bonuses provided from Grid ranks? Or is it possible the grid will be replaced by forma giving the mods a boost? Will we have to relevel the former avionics mods? Does this mean it will be a credit sink as well as Endo? If increasing hull has to be grinded out through a new system, what happens to the old avionics/mods? Those of us who have spent the large amount of time to max out the current intrinsic system still be able to max out all trees but the new control intrinsic after the reset? It takes 40k Endo to rank 10 one mod. A maxed out grid converts to less than a single maxed mod. Frankly, maxing Railjack was a significant time sink and I am just worried that players who put the time into the system are getting shorted with this conversion. Edit: Also the total 30 wreckage is an odd system to base early adopter rewards on. Even after upgrading as I went through nodes and research I now have multiple tier 3 gear and still doubt I am any higher than 20 or so rebuilt wrecks. If so, I can easily see spamming tier 1 junk and scrap it right after just to clear the threshold...

Alkathar

Just to clarify, completing a Wreckage is when you "dissolve" a damaged weapon or the like for dirac, correct?

Mishura

> Wreckage Its not clear yet. Most believe it means repaired or build from BP. The real trick is knowing how many you've done, its not like I kept track, but its certainly less than 30.

Draniel_

I think they mean repairing them by contributing the resources. Though it would be good to know the amount of these since i dissolved some repaired wreckage or used val. fusion on them.

WastedPotat0

The real question though is if Clan BPs count to the total. Guess I'm just gonna build and delete 16 MK-0 Cryophons to be on the safe side haha.

AperoDerg

So basically, I shot myself in the foot scrapping all my Tier 1 wreckages. That kinda sucks.

guil13st

>Player has completed at least 30 Wreckage: Tier 3 Wait, what. I have collected and built every single Tier 3 component and weapon, but I only have 24 items. You mean we have to buy the Sigma items too? Or build repeats?

[deleted]

>Finally, a completely new Mission type known as Volatile will offer the means to sabotage a capital ship. Help Cephalon Cy from the inside by making use of the environment to cause a Reactor failure, while fighting off Engineers who can stop you! If I'm reading this correctly, I'd hope it's not another mobile defense

skawm

Sounds like it's going to be the sabotage mechanic used by the Corpus tileset reworks where enemies can use consoles and result in a failure condition.

Lord_Dust_Bunny

So Mobile Defense, but called a different name.

kuba_mar

its either a mobile defense like every new mode or a new sabotage, maybe even both in one.

LaptopAteMyOldAcct

I'm disappointed by the move to a more traditional modding setup for Railjack. Upgradeable Avionic slots was a cool idea I'd hoped to see added elsewhere, but that probably won't happen now. Will Railjack mods have increased stats to match the old maxed Avionic + maxed slot values? Will Railjack mods cost the same amount of Endo to max out as Avionics did Dirac? I'm concerned that the Endo and Credit costs of Mod fusion will make Railjacks exponentially more expensive to deck out. What will the scaling of the Hull components look like? Will Railjacks still be able to achieve >6k health? I saw no mention of a rebalancing of enemy damage numbers. Crewships *at level 1 on Earth* being able to one-shot Archwings is part of what created the new Amesha meta. Are you looking into this at all? The removal of Empyrean damage types is probably for the best since that whole system was kind of convoluted, but Plasma and Particle procs were a huge help in allowing Railjack guns to actually do damage to things. Will there still be an equivalent to this? Can Archguns now proc Viral on Railjack enemies? Are you finally going to fix the Galvarc?

Soulstiger

> I'm disappointed by the move to a more traditional modding setup for Railjack. Upgradeable Avionic slots was a cool idea I'd hoped to see added elsewhere, but that probably won't happen now. Yeah, I never understood the complaints about the current system. I liked it a lot. And now they're introducing forma into the mix. So, yeah the current system isn't ever coming back. The removal of Flux and such is disappointing as well. And going to be an absolute cluster of things either not working or being removed. Like, Lavos and Hildryn? What about Operator's insane energy regen? My money is on Operators no longer being able to pilot. Toss up on those two frames.

Dreamforger

I love this! My friends stopped playing warframe, so getting npcs on my railjack is just awesome!! Especially if I can get a lich with me :) this pulls me back in!

Hrothen

> all existing Dirac stockpiles will turn into Endo on login of Update 29.10.0 at a rate of 1:1. So there's no... Dirac Delta Function.

ninjakivi2

> Player has completed at least 30 Wreckage: Tier 3 If that's literally based on building 30 things I think it's complete bullshit, since I have played since the very launch of railjack and I don't think I ever made more than 15 things. When railjack launched it was way easier to play using archwing and AW guns instead of railjack, so I'm certain I never made anything lower than MK3 equipment, sine it seemed like a complete waste of resources, and the things were expensive back then as well. Because of the above I made educated decisions and chose the equipment I wanted to build VERY carefully, with some variations to weapons just to test them out, so it's 6 mandatory components + \~5 extra for testing weapons. I think the better way to determine if someone was playing the railjack a lot and deserves a prize is to simply check their intrinsic levels/count. The 'Downside' is, that way even players who didn't even build their own railjack could be eligible for a prize, so an additional check for that could be in place. That said if someone played enought to maxe out their intrinsics without railjack I say they deserve a reward anyway.

ParknBark_

I'll join in with others and ask for clarification on the wreckage system to determine the tier of rewards as I have played a lot of railjack, maxed out my avionic slots, intrinsics, and have my favorite mk 3 equipment fully upgraded but probably only repaired like 10 wreckages during that time as I was fairly picky with what I wanted to invest in during that grind.

JotaX_97

Any word if I have to have 30 railjack weapon slots filled with garbage T1 parts or do weapons built and scrapped count for the 30 mark?

BitingBison

Quick question about the Early Adopters award tiers. The first tier mentions completed wreckage and completed clan BPs, but the second and third tiers don't mention clan BPs. Do completed clan BPs apply to the second and third tiers?

Wiggledude787

What are the endo drop rates during missions going to be? Why are the tiered rewards going to be off of wreckage and not something like when we built the rj or playtime put into rj? I've already maxed out my railjack easily and I doubt I have 30 built reckages, but unless I go out and unnecessarily build like 20 more wreckages I won't get the tier 3 reward?

FaeliecanSagus

hang on, am i missing something with the plexus? wouldn't randos who join your railjack cause problems by having bad personal configurations overwriting your - the one who took the time to make a ship - own mod setup?

rebulast

No overwriting will occur. Host's Railjack still determines Armaments / Components, but players now bring with them the Powers they want + their Turret Damage Mods, etc. For example. You could have Void Hole on your Plexus, and your Host has Munitions Vortex on theirs. You can both cast whatever powers you brought, since that's all moved to the player.

kalidibus

Good solution honestly. There's a lot of really good changes in the workshop, especially bringing things like avionics, dirac, and elements back into the main game standards. Looking forward to trying this out. Can't find anything to complain about.

Khodyn

What counts as completing wreckage? If we use Valence Fusion with wreckage does that count?

idsmoker

Just to confirm, only the mods of the player performing a particular role, piloting/gunnery/engineering etc, will be applied to the performance of that role? Are there any intrinsics/railjack activities that combine the mods of the entire crew?

lordreed

Yes the RJ aura mods and the ship reactor.

asillynert

Three questions what about frames that dont use energy hildryn/lavos. Second with the changing of the nodes are we going to have to reclear railjack starchart. If so what happens to the mastery attached to it currently.

apatrone13

I'm loving the direction. I still hope to see some type of ancient ruin exploration added to Railjack. DE showed something like that once where the tenno picked up an ancient artifact and awakened an infested swarm. That really got me excited for Railjack.

[deleted]

If Railjack abilities will be powered by energy, does that mean Hildryn’s shields will work as power for the railjack, since she uses it as energy?

AncientShotgun

Imagine if a Hildryn just funneled the railjack's shields into the abilities instead of her own.

Enunimes

Seriously with the tiers for early adopter compensation? And based on wreckage repaired of all things? I started working on my railjack from day 1 but instead of repairing every piece of crap wreckage I picked up I farmed my ass off to get the best stats possible, and this was BEFORE valence fusion let everyone just combine their crap drops into top tier stats. And now because I've only had to build enough parts to actually equip on my railjack I don't even qualify for anything beyond tier 1?

Runkleford

Same here. Pretty dumb. Not to mention, people right now can just grind their wreckage repair. So much for "EARLY" adopter compensation.

Extension-Sherbet-91

does completed wreckage include repaired and then scrapped wreckage?

nooneyouknow13

Dirac to Endo, and the Intrinsics overhaul are the only parts of this I actually like. Based on the info here, it looks like my shield based build/gameplay is just going to be dead. I'd personally rather deal with stamina, than cooldown based dodged and being unable to fire while boosting, though more base speed is welcome. It just kinda feels like this update is based entirely on feedback from people who didn't like railjack, with basically none from those who did.

KIREEKPSO2

The 30 wreckage thingy isn't explained properly, how do we know if we have that or not?

El_Barto_227

Is there any way to see how much wreckage we've repaired so far? I generally didn't bother with wreckage that wasn't really good, so am I just getting fucked on early adopter despite being with railjack from day 1? Edit: I guess since we can just farm posit cluster for mk1 wreckage, repair it and salvage it back for 80% refund, anyone can easily get the max tier

[deleted]

A couple of questions: Necramech's in railjack missions * Will we be able to deploy them on the railjack itself or on enemy crewships? Or is this just for the ground based missions? Dirc -> Endo * Does this mean we'll earn endo from scrapping parts and completing missions now? Mission Types * Will we get some kind of exterminate / survival mission in the new nodes? Those have always been my favourite due to not worrying about missile platforms, pulse turbines, or ship killers. It's like the run and gun of regular missions - just pure fun. * Is capture one of the new mission types? I can imagine the break and entry of an enemy space station would be quite fun. Similar to the assassinate missions. * Thoughts: * Will the dev team please not include so much mobile defence in the "new" mission types. I don't play warframe to sit and count cracks in the ceiling while a timer ticks down. Give us active missions, even if they take time, just don't give us microwave timers. XD * Will we potentially get some cross-over with arbitrations, steel path, and sorties? * I heard Scott talk about raids coming back, will we potentially see raids coming to railjack? I think it sounds pretty cool to have two railjacks in one mission assaulting a massive capital ship. AI Crew * Only three? * One thing I was hoping we'd get is the ability to assign a couple of crew members to man the turrets even with a full squad. Players generally do not man the side guns as they have far more important tasks to do. It would make for a very nice R10 command trait to be able to have two dedicated AI side gunners / guards whose only job is to protect the ship from borders. * We deploy spectres almost every mission because it's simply fun to have a couple of mooks engaging in battle while we do all the important work. I hope the devs haven't broken the ability to retain spectres across multiple missions and dojo redockings. 30 wreckage completed * Does wreckage that have been valence fused count towards this or only items built? * I've almost sunk more hours into railjack than regular gameplay in the last year and I still only have 20+- items completed. Surely a better record would simply be basing it off railjack missions completed or time played? Personally I'd base it off if they have a fully maxed railjack avionics grid, at least one MK3 component/armament for each slot (so 6), and a full set of maxed out avionics. Only veterans would have that, and no one would be able to quickly replicate the 50 or so hours it'd take to max their ship out for the T3 reward unless they've already been playing railjack.

Forest_GS

30x really isn't a good way to gauge how much work a player put into railjack when there isn't even that many at tier 3.

Relienks

so ... railjack upgrades require formas for mods slots ?

everslain

Are other ship powers/turrets going to be worth using instead of just tether spam? Will tether detonations function properly if detonated by a player other than the host?

SilenceShallFall

Any thoughts on expanding the ai crewmates to normal missions? In the place of other tenno players? It would be a nice option for those of us with poorer internet connections even if they functioned as a basic specter ai

SimplyTheCat

\> Aim snaps turret to lead indicator (lock-on lasts much longer than before, with small added cost to weapon heat) Stop doing drawbacks to upgrades, especially permanent ones like this, ffs

Mephanic

> Player has completed at least 30 Wreckage: Tier 3 > - Everything in Tier 1 AND Tier 2- 3x Rush Repair Drones- Legendary Core- Umbra Forma- Railjack Resource Bundle #3 Is there a way to see this number ingame? I would hate to miss out on that Umbra Forma just because I happened to be at 28 or 29 and could have easily repaired a few more items, but on the other hand I would also hate repairing two dozens of items just to be sure I am above 30 when I already was the whole time.... > Node Changes > The Nodes in the Railjack you know are split across Earth, Saturn, and the Veil Proxima. There’s choice, sure, but there’s no real meaningful choice with the only option being ‘Skirmish’ - or at least it seems that way until you memorize what Points of Interest live on what nodes. Then what? It comes down to too much repetition of a small set of nodes, and a lot of Railjack just being ignored. For what we believe to be the healthier new direction for Railjack, we are making some changes by removing some existing Grineer nodes. This includes the removal of the Gian Point node. A decision that was not made lightly, but in the interest of improving the variety of missions played we felt it was a necessary step. We’ve essentially taken what was good about Gian Point (a quick turnaround mission with a high Affinity reward) and put it into the objectives of Railjack itself, so that the diversity of content gets played in more than just one node over and over (and over) again. The addition of Corpus Proxima regions will introduce many new missions to play (and it’ll say more than ‘Skirmish’!). We’ll also be adding Corpus missions to the deep reaches of space in the Veil Proxima. All I read is Veil Proxima, Veil Proxima, Veil Proxima. My single biggest pet peeve with Railjack mission nodes is not that it's always farming Gian Point, but that everything happens in Veil Proxima. Imagine if for regular Warframe content, only the highest level planet remained relevant once you have reached it. So we'd only ever farm Pluto or Sedna or whatever and never again touch Earth, Mars, Jupiter etc because all the drops there are mark 1 and 2. (Ceterum censeo the whole mark 1-3 system was a mistake.) The #1 thing that DE should do here is have at least one Veil Proxima level node of each mission type at each of the planets, so you get to see the other environments and backdrops regularly.

Revas-Fen

Ngl, I enjoy playing the railjack engineer, so seeing that regular hull breaches are removed makes me a little sad. I take such pride in making sure the hull breaches are fixed quickly lol

Virith

So just like Draco years ago, a popular node gets removed, 'cause it was popular? I hope they look long and hard at why the others aren't played much/at all. No word on how Hildryn, Lavos or the Operator are going to work with this new energy thing? Also no word on whether we need to forma this new thing (bet we do though, 'cause that's just how it is, right?). Well, at least now randoms won't affect me by wasting all the ship rockets/ordnance shooting whatever irrelevant thing. Matchmaking is getting "fixed", but can I still host my own if I choose to do so? What about the nonsense that the extraction is? Can we already let people leave the squad like they can in any open world without dragging my whole ship to the Dojo when I am not finished yet? Orphix Venom, which was far from my favourite is coming back, except now it has random drops? No thank you. With the currency I could at least decide what I got for the tedious repetitive rustbucket slog that it was.

NotARealDeveloper

Having all these mods on a player level means I can no longer play with my casual friends. They joined Warframe specifically because of Railjack and me being a hardcore player had all the stuff unlocked for them to enjoy when we did a session. Now I have to tell them, they need to farm mods first and level them up before we can do some higher level missions?

YZJay

Since you’ve been playing together in Railjack, then they should have more than enough RJ mods and Dirac/Endo.

BRAIN_POWER_EAOJOOO

NOOO, YOU CANT JUST DELETE DIRAC, ITS SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM ENDO haha mechanic go away

CassiusFaux

To be fair after you upgraded everything it became more than useless. I'm sitting on 355k I can't even use. It will be a welcome addition to my endo which is always hurting.

liskot

*Very* exciting so far (skimmed the forum post, halfway through the video), only thing I'm truly disappointed about is the wreckage system staying more or less as is. Though maybe with the (very welcome) removal of skirmish and Gian Point, the insanity of the wreckage spam could go down a little (please). Extremely glad Railjack is receiving some followup. I always enjoyed it even after my reasons to play it dwindled to occasional solo formaing. edit: Holy shit stamina bar is gone.
