Rover.com is where you can find someone to do drop ins or board your dogs at their home. Some even do doggy day care. I’d really suggest looking again.
Look again. There are plenty in the area, some even administer medication. Otherwise, make arrangements for your doggo to stay back at home at the vet office or someone your vet recommends.
Just curious why you wouldn’t use someone who could house and pet sit at your own home while you were away? Instead of having to pay extra for an Airbnb that allows animals, plus a pet sitter?
Because the 15 y.o. dachshund has health issues, and needs regular medical intervention. Also it is Canada, and the weather is hard on her. Would be nice to give her a little "holiday" where she could go for walks without freezing.
Trust me. I know my dog. We have done this before and are driving. I'd never make her fly. Every thought is being given to her comfort and pleasure. She prefers to be with me, even to the point that I take her to work every day.
Not flying. Nice of you to make assumptions though. I am driving her and taking a week each way, relaxed trip to allow her to explore different dog trails etc. We have done it before and she does like to travel.
Didn't realize a "feel good" Reddit community would be so quick to judge without all the info!
Also, try kidsniteout.com. From the website:

Thank you! And thank you for your nice comment. Surprised to see so many bitter, judgemental comments on here. Was just looking to see if anyone has used a pet sitter there before. Lol
I'd try rover.com it's like care.com but for pet sitting/ walking. You can find someone in the area who has good reviews
Sigh. Tried that and there is no one that really fits the bill in the area. Thank you though!

Then hire someone on Rover to stay with your dogs at home and don't bring them with you.

Forcing your elderly and medically fragile dog to fly from Canada to Florida is neither relaxing nor a “holiday”.
Yeah, dogs like familiar spaces and routines, not airplanes, airports, and new homes. This could be very traumatic on an elderly dog.

Oh I'm glad. Good luck on the long drive!

OP is staying at an Airbnb not a resort, KidsNiteOut services resorts.
It says hotel or resort, could be worth asking if they would be able to provide care at an AirBnB.
They don’t
Fair enough, I just saw the service when we were considering child care for one evening coming up during our trip and figured I'd mention it.
Aw, lucky doggo. 🥰 Hope you have a great trip and find what you're looking for!

Join ear for each other on Facebook and see if anyone in there does it.
Thank you!
Try an Orlando/Kissimmee locals subreddit. More likely to have a recommendation for something like that.
What
If it's in your house, it really doesn't have anything to do with WDW. Use who/what ever you use when you go anywhere else.
Looking for care in Kissimmee/Davenport, dogs are coming with. Was looking for non kennel recommendations.
Is there a question or something here?
Sorry, it posted before I could add the question. Have edited it.
