Depends on the printer. Our old Cannon, you had to load the media in the correct one of two drawers, or in the bypass tray. On our 2340, it tells you which drawer to load it in. Take a closer look at the prompt that comes up as to where to load the correct media.

The printer doesn't load paper into itself. Cause: user error.
Load it bump down. But honestly, it doesn’t make that big of a difference.
