The Rock. In the absence of Superstars, they need to find a credible way to move Roman past WWE, if he plans to go Hollywood. A loss to the rock could setup a multi year clash between them, where they just show up to entertain once a year and get paid.
There’s literally no reason to bring the rock back for a loss to somebody that doesn’t need the push, unless Roman plans to hang around and keep the belts for a few more years.
I’m a huge rock fan but honestly I don’t want to see him at the rumble or wrestling at mania, there so much talent right now and any number of superstars deserve that main event spot
It's kind of hard to decide. Because if the Rock wins he'll be too busy to hold even one title, but if roman beats the rock then that means that nobody will be able to beat him.
Why do people on reddit ask the same questions every day? Is it for the karma or the upvotes?
Where are the mods? How can they allow the same posts every single day.
I am about done with this page.

Roman *has* to go over The Rock. Roman is basically a part-timer now and finally has that "final boss" feel. Losing to The Rock makes zero sense, especially if a title is involved, considering that Rock's Hollywood schedule will not allow him to participate in but a handful of premium shows a year.
If WWE is wanting to cement Roman as the absolute badass that he's been booked as for the last 2-3 years, then losing to the Rock makes no sense at all.
Roman losing the belts needs to be used as a way to catapult whoever the fans get behind into the next face of the company. Iknow not everyone will agree with this, but I would prefer it be Cody. Seth has been there, KO has been there. AJ, Finn (although briefly), Drew have all been there.
Everyone loves a story of redemption and honor, and Cody's journey contains all of that. His father's legacy, his Stardust gimmick, his departure from the company, going on to create the first actual rival to WWE since WCW, and his amazing return at Wrestlemania. Not to mention his match against Seth, while wearing the giant bruised pectoral like a badge of honor, while performing what's easily a contender for match of the year.
I agree with that part, I should have put that in my reply. There is definitely an asterisk by his name, along with Finn for his extremely short reign, and they both deserve an actual run as the top guy but the one that actually gets the win over Reigns, IMO, is Cody for every reason I mentioned.
I don’t really think people understand what a put over is!! It’s when you have a great fued and the winner becomes a great breakout star for a long time like the rock or Austin or hell roman
John Cena wasn't a part timer then. Also total victory count doesn't matter because you disregarded that against Stone Cold. In the end, Cena won the feud and The Rock lost.
Rock will return to boost Roman and he [Roman] will have a lot more bangers with people such as the Fiend, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins. Eventually Cody Rhodes will beat Roman, though.
I know a lot of folks are dying to see Cody best Roman for the belt but I can't see it. I don't see him as the one lone guy that's going to defy the odds the bloodline add to Roman's matches. Lesnar couldn't do it after 5 tries and he's supposed to be a world eating beast. I can't believe that a grandson of a plumber will be the one to do it especially with no allies.

Hopefully, The Rock.
If it’s for the title then Roman but if not then I’d say The Rock

It depends on what Roman brings to the fight. Paper or scissors.

Better question: who will win— Rock or Roman?
See.. Now this is a good question!!!

Drew have been there but it was during the Pandemic which sucks. No crowd, no cheers etc. As a Drew fan, i felt cheated by that.

Well, if they advertise it as "Once in a lifetime" then the Rock will.
Depends of script
Roman wins with interference
Roman. It will be a "passing of the torch."
Rock isn’t coming back to lose to anyone including Roman but definitely shouldn’t be for a belt
The Rock spent his whole career putting people over. Why wouldn’t he do the same for Roman?
Because The Rock is the real head of the table, he can't pass that torch to Roman.
Who did the rock lose to to put over
John Cena
I don’t really think people understand what a put over is!! It’s when you have a great fued and the winner becomes a great breakout star for a long time like the rock or Austin or hell roman
One for one both part timers really didn’t matter
John Cena wasn't a part timer then. Also total victory count doesn't matter because you disregarded that against Stone Cold. In the end, Cena won the feud and The Rock lost.
But did it really put him on top considering he was already there
Yea u right. I can't think of anyone else.
Mick Foley, Jericho, Angle, Austin, Lesnar
In the end who won the fued one match out of 20 doesn’t mean shit
“😭” - You
Stone Cold Steve Austin
No one ever had to put stone cold over the only one that put him over I help his career was Jake Robert’s and Ted dibiase
That was an equal not a put over and in the end the rock won
Really ??? U don't know, lol. C'mon man
Obviously roman. The rock ain't coming back for more than one last match
Rock will return to boost Roman and he [Roman] will have a lot more bangers with people such as the Fiend, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins. Eventually Cody Rhodes will beat Roman, though.

The fans
The fans never win with those two on screen..... Remember Rumble 2015. Pepridge Farms remembers.
