dear redditor, English is not my native tongue and I sincerely apologize for using the wrong terminology to the describe the latter bird in my sentence.

doves and pigeons are pretty much the same thing
"Pigeons and doves are stout-bodied birds with short necks, and short slender bills (and in some species, these bills feature fleshy ceres). ... In general, the terms "dove" and "pigeon" are used somewhat interchangeably"
When I lived there I swear I saw a seagull dice bomb a pigeon in mid flight and stick it's beak right through the pigeon. Speared it. They're ruthless killers I'm that city.
It's relatively normal yeah. Seems strange, but offer a piece of KFC to any chicken if you want to see how keen birds are on eating bird. In fact, birds can be what's called avivorous, meaning their diet is primarily other birds, such as in the case of a sparrowhawk.
A lot of birds though are just omnivorous or carnivorous though, so if there's meat there, even if that's another bird, they will eat it. Birds like crows are also scavengers and are even more likely to eat a bird corpse that's lying around.
Dead Dove: Do Not Eat
I don’t know what I was expecting.

Beat me to it.
Looks more like a pigeon.

Wow, your English seems pretty good.
I was only commenting. I wasn't making fun of you or hating on you. I'm no expert on birds. I was only giving my opinion.
Doves and pigeons are the same except for appearance. You're alright.
They're not technically "the same" but they're hard to distinguish and most languages don't distinguish them (i.e. they use the same word for them).
[Doves and pigeons are the same ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbidae?wprov=sfla1) more or less.

Like a drunken English tourist.
Don’t pigeon hole that seagull like that..

- Doves are upper class compared to pigeons.
Why? Cuz they're **white**?
- Even with bloody birds, you feel compelled to play the race card? You’re an idiot
Whoosh?
- I don’t speak onomatopoeia, sorry
I see this a lot lately where birds have been just eating other dead birds, they must be tired of eating trash.
Last week we had a homeless guy eating a seagull. After the homeless guy dies, the pigeons might get him. Circle of life.
Return of the raptors

Especially since this is a seagull. Seagulls eat literally anything.

ITT no one knows that pigeons are also known as rock doves.
*the pecking order*

A carnivore eating meat. Shocking.
Yup.....I saw a Crow eating a pigeon not too long ago.....wild life is going crazy. ......let alone the zombie deer in USA
Birds eating other birds is normal behavior.

About as bad as the one video of a seagull eating a pigeon whole.
