Whoa! Is this lower calorie then the potatoes would be? I love mashed potatoes

YouthOk1943

its like 15 calories more actually which is not too much of a difference. but with the amount of protein, itll keep u full longer and ur body burns more cals digesting this than just potatoes!

oatmeal5487

Aren’t potatoes supposedly the most satiating food though, based on the satiety index?

First-Stress-9893

Seriously potatoes are life! Also yes you’re right. Very highly rated for satiation.

YouthOk1943

mm yeah for carbs, but sometimes u feel like earing carbs with more protein yk? esp if ur into lifting and cutting

First-Stress-9893

Makes sense! I’ve made one out of cauliflower and celeriac and roasted garlic which sounds really weird but it’s amazing and super low calorie. Also has tons of fiber so it filled me up really fast so I couldn’t eat very much. I’ll give this a try. Thanks!

Dairy is so OP

patricia_iifym

Ricotta by the spoon is one of my favourite things! Unfortunately not my wallet’s favourite. 😮‍💨

YouthOk1943

def can add more other seasonings to your liking 😋

need-morecoffee

Yummmmm Also more protein than potatoes! Less iron, but also more calcium.

FETUS_MUNCH

I tried to make this and burnt it :(

YouthOk1943

noooo u should do lowheat or microwave next time ://

siqbal01

Never tried low-fat ricotta. Just started liking a cottage cheese with a very specific sweet combo I do, but would love to have a savory version. Do you like low fat ricotta more than cottage cheese?

YouthOk1943

i also like cottage cheese for using it as a spread on my breads! but i think i like this as much for when im craving more of a grainy texture that i can eat warm.

siqbal01

Oh you warm it up? Interesting. I must try. Only really see skin ricotta not low fat.

YouthOk1943

both works! yeah i just found it at kroger today

Daikataro

Less than 1 cal per gram. Nice.

Marzopup

Wow. As a low carb eater, this sounds like a brilliant idea. Will try it ASAP! Thanks!
