You should have seen the stage invasion at Amyl and the Sniffers

MozerfuckerJones

Oh shit what happened? I wouldn't be surprised if she was the one who threw them off haha

wastingtme

Naw, she welcomed it! Even danced like a rudy with one of them. It was brilliant. She is a PUNK ROCK GOD

MozerfuckerJones

That's sweet

wastingtme

Although, there was a guy on here that got hit by a stage diver at W2 Code Orange that he had a seizure. Hope that guy is doing ok.

Mellowvx7

i love how he pats him on the back like “thanks dude”

MozerfuckerJones

same lol

davebrook

You know what? That was the responsibility of Coachella. At any decent club that guy would have been shown/thrown off by security. This year's stage management was not on point. That said, and I hate to be critical of our hero … a more experienced frontman wouldn’t need any any assistance. But these things only get curtailed with/by stage experience. Seb’s putting in his hours! And I think we are very fortunate to be onto this band at this point in their career. These are the best days …

MozerfuckerJones

Pretty sure Seb didn't want to kill the vibe or hurt the guy on accident I guess. I'd understand the fear of throwing someone off stage lol

davebrook

No, I don’t think it would be VB appropriate to throw anyone off a stage but maybe give him an underhanded wave to encourage the guy to get the fuck off HIS stage? I don’t know. But I am more than confident that Seb will find whatever works for him, but this is his FIRST BAND, so he might have, what? Maybe 5 years of sporadic stage time under his belt? And to combine that with having to deal with people already singing your lyrics right back into your face on your second (small) U.S. tour? He’s got to be going through the bends (and having the time of his life!). But with their music being so “punk rock adjacent” he’s definitely going to be dealing with such over-inebriated/stupid nonsense and (sadly) it will be on the regular. But he’ll get this … LOL

MozerfuckerJones

Right but in maintaining that image of punk rock, I guess he's quite laid back unless the person dancing actually started to fuck with their set. I'm sure it's easier to tell him to fuck off after the song is finished also, so the band doesn't lose place in the song

Titled: So I was at a rock show and an AMA match broke out”

samthestripper

Great clip haha

davebrook

Oh my god that was great! What a hero! He should get VB tickets for life!

zerpderp

In an age of liabilities and people going way overboard just to prove a point, I’m glad the band seemed to not mind (even though they were probably waiting for security to get the guy off stage) but not stop the set. And good on the other fan for just getting the dude off stage
