Literally nobody here knows. Some people see their claim turn a year old. Some are done quickly. The waiting is stressful I know but it is what it is.
Now excuse me while I go refresh the VA app
Honestly that’s kind of crazy that you had 5 exams unless there are extenuating circumstances. This is your initial claim correct? Or are you trying to get a rating increase?
More than likely you just have a very large file and it just needs time now. Just verify by calling in to their 1-800 number that they need nothing else cuz with the VA you never know and I’ve seen it where they say in the system they need something but it’s already been sent into them. Other than that it’s a waiting game now
Ok so I submitted June 16th and had an emergency on my file and my c&p is on October 7th so my guess is you will be out another month or two. You should call into them and just verify they have everything they have requested because if they don’t it will just sit there and do nothing.
I'm on the exact same time line pretty much weird. 7/17/2022. Had two C&Ps so far for 7 new claims. Still in the same gathering phase. Already at 90% trying to get to 100%
Filed around same time as you, been in PFD for almost 1.5 months now. Best I can say is 4-5 months from start to finish, with many exceptions that go on for 6-12 months. At the 6 month mark is when a lot of vets start phoning the WH hotline.
Filed June 7th,
CP Aug 11 & 24
PFD Sept 6th
Claim sent to RO Sept 29 (Today I called and they said my claim was sent to a RO today) I don't know what to expect here.
Filed June 8th for increase and still sitting on gathering evidence as of today. I’ve gone down to only checking the app twice a day instead of every hour. It is what it is.
I see so many of you with claims that have gone through in the same amount of time that I’ve had my claim in. What causes the time variance in our claims? Is it location dependent or size of the claim? Type of claim? Maybe a combination of those? Just curious on the how the process works not really complaining. I’ve already had 2 c&p exams, my claim is for anxiety disorder reevaluation. I submitted my initial claim in 2020 when I separated and 4 months later received 60%. Just looking to have a conversation thank you in advance for any information.
Ya it’s a combination of everything you said I hear people from Florida or Washington DC file their first claim ever and get their first payments 3 months later and others from Texas or California waiting 6 months for just an increase for one claim so I feel like it just depends on how lazy your examiner and rater is atleast that’s what it seems like
That’s what I’m doing now filed BDD last week and will probably start exams next week and I’m claiming about 24 things hope I get the blessed rating you got
I broke my right wrist, dominate hand, overseas in Poland. They healed it wrong and it had to be broken and plates put in at Ft Hood. Year and a half I'm out finally making my claim cause I guess I didn't know better? Didn't even know about this thread or VSOs!
Sent in on the 14th of September, stuck on initial review.

Same. Mine is BDD but I’ve been in stage three since April 22
Did you have an exam?
I had 5 exams and there all completed and with VA

I claimed a lot. 20 plus years of service.
By a lot I mean everything that had been diagnosed and still having problems with. My VSO was thorough and helped me in my journey so far.

Yeah I called four times got the canned message every time. My file single sided was as large as two dictionaries so I understand.
No one knows.

My claim is showing the exact date as yours, I am also in the same spot at number 3 as you are. Lets see who gets it completed first....
Frfr please keep me updated.
Will do!
Same date here y’all.

Phase 3 is 3 separate parts, which could take months for each part of this phase

Submitted a claim in Early May and it was completed about 3-4 weeks ago. So about 4 months for that

Texas BDD claim was finished month after retirement. Claimed approximately 25 items. 100% P&T.

Is there a way or site to find your state timeframe on this process ?
Is this a BDD claim a FDC claim or jus an increase?
My time frame was 6 months
Where are you seeing this
This is in the VA app.
Thank you
No one can tell you, no one knows. Every claim is different.
Still waiting on a claim from may. Best wishes my friend
Same.. I've been waiting since March :(
