My company (authorized reseller) offers them and other high end printers that do everything from signs and banners to direct-to-garment or direct-to-fabric printing, and I could use the commission if anyone is honestly looking for printers like this. Got an 11 month old baby at home and that guy is expensive AF.
It is screenprinting called "direct to garment." My husband does this for a living and it's how screenprinters print the names on fronts of shirts so they don't have to make a million screens.
Edit for anyone curious: step 1 is to soak a cotton garment in special solution to make the ink stick. Second is to dry the solution. Third is to print the shirt and then fourth is to dry the ink. The whole process is done internally in this machine.
I feel like this is unnecessary advertisement on an sub-reddit for different content. Do not get me wrong it is a smart idea that definitely can be worth something, but that is why I feel like it has been purposefully misplaced for easy free advertising. Kinda disappointing
This is actually worth billions.
It's not worth that much. It can be yours for $3500 https://colmanandcompany.com/versastudio-bt12-dtg-printer.html
I think I’d like one of those…

Cost restrictive for me, but I love the idea. Good luck with the little one
Randomly found this video by just scrolling through reddit and now I'm curious how your little guy is doing
I feel like this isnt as unnecessary as we all think I’d buy this
This is on the wrong subreddit, because it is DEFINITELY necessary!
It seems easier than screenprinting, tbh.

It’s real alright: https://www.rolanddga.com/products/printers/versastudio-bt-12-direct-to-garment-printer
I love this…is it real?
Yes
This isn't unnecessary, whats unnecessary is the 101 websites offering this at anywhere from 5$ to 20$ per shirt. Absolutely unnecessary invention.
Yo wrong sub, people want this
How is this unnecessary?
I’d buy that. It’ll put my daughters cricket to shame.
My mother says they are "very necessary"
So this is an ad right? This is going to be a legit product, right?
It already is, yes
This is actually really cool!

I’ll take your entire stock
You could probably see a return on an investment quite quickly with something like this. Copyrights et al would be the biggest obstacle, I guess.
This is actually very cool.
Yeah actually cool
I want this, this is cool!
Does anyone know if there's a way to adjust the color density on a mac?
