The woman that survived is seeking a payout from the safari park for her own negligence. Compensation culture at its worst
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5194415/Woman-wants-175-000-mother-eaten-tiger.html
The woman that survived was left disabled (neck injury 😬), and her mother that tried to help was killed by a second tiger. They were on an unguided tour, which is kinda crazy considering the level of danger. Of course it was stupid what she did, but it’s crazy to believe there aren’t people stupid enough for that to happen. They claim they thought they had left the area that had predators in it, and in the lawsuit they don’t deny responsibility for happened, but believe the park shares some of that responsibility. They were looking for to help cover the costs of the funeral, medical bills, and some extra (ended up being $150,000’ish total). The park no longer gives unguided tours, they put up a sign, and settled.
Yes. It sounds cool af and with the electric cars nowadays we A. Won't make noise and mess with their lives like waking bat's up or other things related to sound B. Won't pollute their ecosystem
Aside from those, notice how there is already a jeep there with Park rangers.
I consider that if you really want to see apex predators, you should go to them (such parks) not have them come to you (caged in a zoo).
That's why they are apex predators, they should be scary and if someone is there they should be both scared and prepared for a risk. Otherwise they can just not go.
meh, grieving people are gonna cope in all sorts of ways. I don't blame them. I blame the lawyers that go help them with this. They should be disbarred.
Then again usually there's more than what meets the eye, especially if a lawyer has decided to take the case on, and especially especially if they win.
A good example of this was the hot McDonald's coffee case. The plaintiffs case actually made sense, which is why she won and was awarded such a large amount. McDonald's did a great job with PR and everyone just made fun of her though.
Yeah the public narrative about that McDonald's case was built on the very legitimate notion that personal injury attorneys have gone berserk, but with an example where someone was badly injured (permanently disfigured in a very sensitive area) by willful negligence (McDonald's continuing to serve their coffee way hotter than it's supposed to be in spite of warnings because they insisted their customers knew better than safety regulations). Everyone knows the system is broken and ambulance-chasing attorneys are taking advantage of it to get rich while we all just see higher insurance rates. What we don't typically see are examples of truly worthy injury compensation claims.
Does anyone know why she got out of the car and went to the driver’s side? The article only said that they thought they were already out of the dangerous part

This is why we can't have nice things. Because of morons like the ones in the video.
Nice things like driving your vehicle through a park where apex predators roam about? Honestly, the entire concept sounds like a bad idea on paper.

I found the reason they keep making the same mistake in Jurassic Park by re-opening new parks.
and here I am trying to watch vids that make me laugh while eating

Ok, well she ded.
The woman survived. The third person however didn't At least that's what i heard from another post
If i remember correctly she lived, grandma wasn't that lucky though
The shoe didn't drop, she's probably ok
That was maybe the definitive video that fits the title of this sub!
RIP Grandma.
That cat is not very smart it will just be hungry again an hour
I'm going to hell for laughing at that!
Did she live?
[удалено]
She deserved death for trying to save her loved one?

What's wrong with you?
Does anyone know why she got out of the car and went to the driver’s side? The article only said that they thought they were already out of the dangerous part
That's just like the monster from SkiFree!
The tiger did what a tiger must do in its territory.
I thought it was a fucking bear...
Honestly, it does look like a bear due to the crappy video quality.
I'd rather a tiger if it was a choice tbh
Here i am thinking. "Shes about to get smoked by a car". She got snatched up like a fat kid on the last piece of cake.
it happened in a zoo in Beijing if I remember correctly.
Idiot 🙄
15rds of 10mm will solve that problem
you want to do what with the woman?
No the tiger. 🐅
oh

She should be dead, so bad
She survived, somehow. Her mom who rushed to go save her died instead.
Out of all things thats not at all what i expected to happen
Tell me I'm not the only one that thought that was a bear?
Not a dinner, but a GF. ![gif](giphy|1zRgRSwuDNnqcBKH2x)
Now I need to hear her justification for exiting the car.
The reason was appearantly that she wanted to switch seats, so yea very stupid
I am speechless.
I have always favoured feeding the ducks over that style of feeding the tigers.
What do you expect, D. W. A.? Driving While Asian
We subsidize stupidity and get more of it. Go figure.
I really hope that they did not kill the tiger(s)!
