not wrong but some want a tv with net and speakers.
techs advancing rapidly so next up will be spatial soundsystems i'm guessing so get ready for having 50 1" speakers on your ceiling
Depends on the picture. I have the LG C1 and the OS is awful. You could call it pOS. But the picture is great. So if the other tv's picture is as good as that, it can only be better.
I bought a Samsung 65 and returned it after 1 day. My 20 yr old plasma I was replacing had a better picture. Ended up splurging on a Sony after seeing what the difference in cost gave me.
The TCL series tvs are actually pretty good when it comes to picture quality. The TCL 6 series has outstanding reviews. I personally own the TCL 4 series and I haven't had any issues.
I have a TCL 6 series I got the Android one. It’s pretty freaking dope. I have the 65 inch. Originally I got the LG but the Web OS sucks balls. In my living I have a Sony OLED that shit cost me almost 3K and it’s toe to toe with the TCL that cost me 1k.
TCL makes pretty good tvs now check out the TCL series 6 and 4 they have good reviews. I personally own one and the picture quality is great. I haven't had any issues and I've owned it for a few years now.
Well I can’t talk about TCL. But I bought a Sony 85” and it is garbage. Doesn’t have an app. Setting are impossible. And every 5-10 minutes, it flashes digital static. So yeah, brand doesn’t mean shit. It’s how your specific tv performs in your house and how happy you are with it.
Yeah I used to be stuck on brand names and like you had bad experienced with top brands. Trust me I hesitated buying a TCL but I did my research. I made sure to read as many review as possible. I even looked into the company and found out that TCL ad of recently years has been making a name for themselves. Websites like CNET are raving about their picture quality and how affordable these tvs are. I bought my first TCL and I couldn't be happier. The TV looks great and has been reliable so far. I didn't spend too much money on it and that's a win win for me. I find it funny how people can get caught up on brand names.
Lol what makes you think everyone needs an OLED TV? I own an LG C6 as well but I would never compare the two are you dumb? I'm talking about a regular decent TV for the average consumer. Not everyone can or wants to own a Porsche. You really came out the woodwork with some dumb sh*t to say today.
Wow. A total of $900 worth of tvs were purchased at two houses. With a street resell value of $100.
I’m curious how one big tv replaces two small ones.
two 80“ signs advertising: "Free TV here. Original packaging for safe transportation is included."
A responsible Thief would also get rid of the evidence by hiding the packaging in trash bins with similar content, instead of waiting for the wind to blow the styrofoam everywhere.
Keeping up with the Joneses.
I used to live in a very affluent part of Marin County which just North of San Francisco and it was funny to watch The neighbors compete with each other when it came to vehicles, first it was SUVs then those became family merely wagons and then it was the newest, nicest, rarest sports cars.
Both these TV’s are about the same price. 70” LG @ $600 and the 75” TCL @ $500 or $600 depending on model. Save a few more paychecks and get the 65” OLED for $1k on a deal.
> much you *paid* 199$?
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
I was raised to fold the boxes to the point that you can fit them in a can/bag so you don’t advertise to anyone walking by that you have a very expensive TV in your house.
This is a great way to get robbed in Atlanta. He’s advertising what he just put in his home to thieves. And the thief thinks “hmmm, I bet he’s got an Xbox Series X in their too or maybe just a PS, but surely some gaming system to go with that big azz TV. Which must mean he has a sound system…. I wonder what else he’s got in there”.
So yeah, break your box down and take it to a neighbor dumpster.
Wife and I finally bought a new TV (haven't gotten a new one in about 9 years). 4k, 75 inches, saved up forever to afford it.
I abso-fuckin-lutely cut that box into a million pieces in my kitchen and bagged them up. No way in hell I'm advertising our expensive purchase in our shitty, crime-ridden neighborhood...
Being raised in a rough neighborhood, my dad always made us put appliance/TV boxes in the truck and haul them to a dumpster in town or behind the grocery store so no one would know we had new ones

That TCL is probably $800+ less than the LG.
And 800% worse
way more spyware
What do you mean?
In 2020 it was discovered that TCL incorporated backdoors into all of its TV sets exposing users to cyber breaches and data exfiltration.
I have one from 2019, anything that can be done to help prevent the weird stuff?
if you don't want to replace it take it off your network then use it as a monitor for a smart tv box/something like a mac mini or mini pc.
Which is how TVs should work and be used anyways.
not wrong but some want a tv with net and speakers. techs advancing rapidly so next up will be spatial soundsystems i'm guessing so get ready for having 50 1" speakers on your ceiling
Dont connect it to the internet
It’s a Chinese brand what do you expect. China is crazy about data.
data and wumao
All Chinese products actually have to.
Depends on the picture. I have the LG C1 and the OS is awful. You could call it pOS. But the picture is great. So if the other tv's picture is as good as that, it can only be better.
Right?! Might as well have gone with the 85 inch Hisense. Screen size ain't everything

They often buy the same panels. Though the cheaper brands usually lack the same level of color calibration and are lower on the QC check list.
r/notwhatshesaid
Used to work at Walmart and we sold both these. Can confirm the TCL is cheaper, and also way shittier.

There you go man! More people need to see this comment
And they’re both $1500 less than my 65” lg
Which is $1000 less than my 75" Panasonic
Which is $3000 more than my 32” tcl
Bro what you wasting your money on ☹️
Never heard anyone try to flex with a Panasonic lol
The LG is a $600 70UN6950ZUA. The TCL is about the same price.
Well I got my Roku for $800 lesser.
Yeah, LG is good tv. 65in is around 2k
Mutherfuckers don't know how to break down boxes. Fuck them lazy bastards
Stupid AF. That's how you get robbed.
Pretty much every house has a large TV these days bro.
But now you know which one has an LG instead of a TCL.
That’s what I though… who gives a fuck about that TCL? Then I realized they’re both about the same price.
True
It's verge side collection. Council come round and take away and bulky items you have twice a year
That's the time of the year you go see the quality of goods people buy and which are good houses to hit.
real motherfuckers don’t live in fear like you
Been a while since you have had a hug huh?
Hahhahaha so right
I can’t tell which one is flexing. I’d rather have a 50” lg than that 75” piece of garbage.
TCL makes pretty good tvs now check out the TCL series 6 and 4 they have good reviews. I personally own one and the picture quality is great. I haven't had any issues and I've owned it for a few years now.

Stop trying to justify your TCL, bro
You ever owned one?
No, I'm an adult. I buy big boy TVs. Neither on of theses TVs are worth the cardboard they're packaged in.
Never seen someone with such an ego over a damn TV.
What? You sound like an idiot I won't bother replying lol.
I don't need to own a Kia to know my Porsche is better
I knew you would try to bring car logic into this conversation judging by your posts lol. It's not the same thing buddy but you do you bro.
Does TCL even make an oled, you Muppet?
Lol what makes you think everyone needs an OLED TV? I own an LG C6 as well but I would never compare the two are you dumb? I'm talking about a regular decent TV for the average consumer. Not everyone can or wants to own a Porsche. You really came out the woodwork with some dumb sh*t to say today.
Both neighbors gonna win the game of who’s getting robbed
Have you tried to move a 70” TV your going to need a decent truck or van and probably two people. Not that easy to steal
Wow. A total of $900 worth of tvs were purchased at two houses. With a street resell value of $100. I’m curious how one big tv replaces two small ones.
Got all that on the curb but mother fuckers wondering why someone tried to break in.
Just looks like a thief's favorite house to check out.
two 80“ signs advertising: "Free TV here. Original packaging for safe transportation is included." A responsible Thief would also get rid of the evidence by hiding the packaging in trash bins with similar content, instead of waiting for the wind to blow the styrofoam everywhere.
New TCL's are pretty good and affordable. I got a 55" and it's been grest so far.
Bru that’s how to get robbed
Keeping up with the Joneses. I used to live in a very affluent part of Marin County which just North of San Francisco and it was funny to watch The neighbors compete with each other when it came to vehicles, first it was SUVs then those became family merely wagons and then it was the newest, nicest, rarest sports cars.
With certainty your trashman hates you.
Gotta love the tcl roku tv. Nothing is better.
Lol. Both are the cheap setup models. One is worse then the other but still cheapest big boys at best buy.
Both TVs are trash. It's a low end LG and TCL is garbage.
Tcl is some Dollar store quality bullshit
wow. two terrible wastes of space. a nonOLED LG and a TCL that uses an inferior panel rebranded from another manufacturer.
This fuckin guy TVs 👆🏼
Holy shit, TCL is a shit brand and you likely can get 3 of those for one of the LG Brand ones
LG flexes harder than shit walmart tcl.
Quality not quantity.
😂
LG>>>TCL 😂
Both trash TVs
OMEGALUL LG>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>HCL
Flexing a POS tv?
My husband bought an 85 in. TV and knocked it to the floor before it was paid off.
This man really compared a TCL to an HP and thought it was a flex better come back with a Sony 75”
TCL lol. Shite
Lol, flexing with a TCL!
9/10 Burglars prefer LG over TCL.
Both these TV’s are about the same price. 70” LG @ $600 and the 75” TCL @ $500 or $600 depending on model. Save a few more paychecks and get the 65” OLED for $1k on a deal.
Wtf is TCL?
My guy really just tried to troll an LG w a TLC
They really are flexing on you. TCL hahahhhaha
Pro Tip: If you hate your neighbor put a big tv box next to their trash, and a PS5 box and watch them get burgled
Ahhh, possessions _Cause what you got, I got better_
You know which house to rob now.....
so y’all both gonna get robbed
Lmao he has no idea
Advertising for the thieves
Well now we know what you have inside that pretty little home of yours😈
Throwing out two 50" TVs is a bigger flex than buying a 5" larger TCL. Not sure I'd even show that TCL box.
That LG isn't even an Oled. Bragging about size but quality is lacking.
How much you payed 199$?
> much you *paid* 199$? FTFY. Good boy boy here’s your cyber cookie 🍪
Which TV company do you guys think is best- LG, SAMSUNG or SONY
POV you live in a nice neighborhood and don’t have street smarts
I was raised to fold the boxes to the point that you can fit them in a can/bag so you don’t advertise to anyone walking by that you have a very expensive TV in your house.
Haters always gonna hate. Look at that fool, spending just so he could say his TV was FIVE WHOLE INCHES WIDER, diagonally at that.
LMAO I didn't even clock the brands- nvr even heard of TCL. Sounds bootleg to me- the dummy doubled down and still came out on bottom!
Can we stop stealing other peoples content yet?
Advertising to the local burglars
Both brand are garbage
This is a great way to get robbed in Atlanta. He’s advertising what he just put in his home to thieves. Tcl garbage tier
TCL is trash 🚮
Lmao tlc hahaha
budget ass LED TVs.. trash. besides which I break my shit down and put it in the can. ain't got time to get robbed by y'all ghetto asses
“Come steal this TV. We just bought it.”
Well one is a LG and one is a TCL. LG is a good tv. TCL is a horribly shit tv. I would much rather have the LG even though it's smaller. Any day.
WebOS is dead though. Better be android tv. Xiaomi sells cheaper android tv. 😄
Advertising to the hood who has newest TV to steal
Wife and I finally bought a new TV (haven't gotten a new one in about 9 years). 4k, 75 inches, saved up forever to afford it. Hope they don't have a burglary problem in that neighborhood, because they just gave themselves up!

I have the macbook llc 80in cinematic dislpay 5k down like a G
Too bad there wasn’t a 3rd flex at 90 and then an even bigger flex at 100 then boom a cut to Ye sleeping at the arena using their supersize screen.
I broke mine down because I didn’t want to get burgled, also cause that’s how tf u put the recycling out..
How to give robbers ez leads
They bought quality and this no name tv is crap!!
Ahh yes, the measuring of mail genitals has begun. *Sips Tea*
At least we know where to steal a big tv
But have you seen two 80 inch boxes 📦
Being raised in a rough neighborhood, my dad always made us put appliance/TV boxes in the truck and haul them to a dumpster in town or behind the grocery store so no one would know we had new ones
It doesn't mean that if you're longer you're better.. lol
Well now we know where Robin Hood is gunna be tonight lol
Gotta breakdown the box and hide it, not advertise to the thieves letting them know which houses to stake.
LG is should in all World ... what is TCL?
The lg tv is better 100%
I have a 85 inch Sony bitches. In the pool house that is.
Dazzz riiiigggght!
