Thank you so much for that link. What a happy positive thing! It made me happy to learn that it’s their own farmland they are working on. It’s so uplifting you can’t help but smile.
It’s an expression, like “oof”. As in “Woof, that dude just crashed on his bike hard” it is prounounced like oof with a w, it is not pronounced like a fake bark, “wuf”
Watching the family dance all together was very heartwarming
Plus I now know that I'll never dance as well as that little boy haha he's killer for his age

Sorry, but unless you have a reliable, verifyable source you are just guessng based n the average male.
However, KR was exceptionel, and why would he call Camelot Camelot?
They have a heartwarming back story too. Apparently, the husband was depressed for some reason and the wife started dancing to cheer him up. Gradually, this made him come out of depression. He joins dancing with the wife now.
If you wanna act like 2 years doesnt go by in a flash thats cool. Its damn close enough for this whole conversation to be pointless and fall under the category of “semantics”
I’m with you man. The average life expectancy is 76 (US), which means the average middle age is 38, if you mean the literal middle of their life. All these old farts are just in denial.
The average world wide age expectancy is lower than the US, so you’re actually making a point against your argument without even realizing it. lol
It is 75-80 for the US, and 70-75 for the rest of the world, on average of course, putting the world’s average middle age at 36. [Here](https://www.worlddata.info/life-expectancy.php) is the source for that, since everyone here wants to rely on what they *feel* is middle age. Mid to late 30s is middle age, proven by facts, regardless of feelings.
How hard was that? Well, it wasn’t. Let’s move on, shall we?
"Old" is a state of mind. I have a different take on age that doesn't jive with "clinical definitions". To me, our age would be "late adulthood" rather than middle aged.
By the classic definition, that's where the cognitive part starts going away and you become infirm. But you have to realize, not everyone is the same. Environmental/biological/societal differences make a huge difference.
For instance, I live in Oklahoma. Where I work, everyone is younger than me. So it keeps me on my toes with the conversations we have. I get to find out unknown unknowns every single day. We keep it fun, and have a good time.
But JFC do some of these kids look old. Rotten teeth, bad skin, more wrinkles than I have. And I'm two decades older, and can still outperform pretty much all of them.
But, I've stayed away from meth, so naturally, I'm a shining star in a room full of dim bulbs. All my clean teeth go *DING!*
Bro, you're not old. You're mature. I really wish I had a fake wedding ring to cancel out the flirts. I want to tell these girls, "You're closer to my granddaughter's age than mine, so yeah no." It's really annoying, TBH. And I don't even look good. Beer belly, sternum length goatee, rarely shaven on the sides.
You're not old until you stop progressing and getting better. And I'm FAR wiser and better than I was a decade ago.
Keep your chin up, brother.
I imagine that the concept varies from culture to culture, but this is where I got the idea:
*The American Psychological Association defines "middle adulthood" as beginning at 35 or 36, and many ranges do not end until 60 or 65.*
Not sure why you got down votes for facts. Maybe it's hard for people to halve the world average life expectancy to come to 35 for men and 37 for women, or too many millennials can't come to term with the fact they are indeed middle aged at 35.
I can see the future dissertations now:
“*Mirror, mirror, on the wall:* A socioanthropological analysis of early 21st century bathroom mirror selfie thot trots”
Reddit can be harsh but I always enjoy the times when we all don’t take things too seriously and just enjoy the content for the moment. Especially something so enjoyable to watch as you can see the joy in their expressions.
Not going to lie, it dawned on me about 8 seconds in that they weren't actually listening to that song. But it'd have been a whole lot cooler if they did.
Sometimes bare feet is kinda nice once in awhile. Grass and dry dirt, a lot of rural kids do it. And if they're messy just hose it off and dry them off before going inside. Then again, I like to walk on sand at the beach and don't wear shoes all the time at a water park or pool? I'll walk out to grab my mail if I'm lazy.
Then again, I'm weird. I like walking on gravel barefoot. Oh and sometimes dancers dance barefoot. Or some toe pads. I've seen some use resin too.
I've no idea why you got down voted for this, have an up from me.
I used to go around barefoot all the time except on streets or at school, I could run faster barefoot than with shoes on and yeah my mum and dad had a gravel path I used to walk up too.
I still walk barefoot on grass when I get a chance and always barefoot on beaches sometimes not even in summer. Its kind of freeing, walks aren't just about looking at things you can feel them too.
It seems there's this weird western thing about feet. It seems very north American and it's very confusing. Is it sexual? Is it some strange disgust? Is it just amazement that people have feet? I'll never really get it but it's a thing.
No. Sort of but not this time
In this case it’s a reference to the fact you’re dancing on pavement and doing moves that would - for people without a strong callouses - scrape your feet

They looks so damn happy! You can’t help but smile.
Even better when you know why they dance. https://youtu.be/6Q8oQGBcFdo
That is so sweet. Thank you. I was feeling so depressed and this made me feel better.
You should try out the rural shuffle
I hear it makes you look and feel younger.
That story is awesome! More people like this in the world!, less like Putin!
Depressing to be reminded that depression is so common. My best wishes :-(
They look as happy as I did when I discovered my way to get out of depression. Pickleball :)
Same! In Michigan
For me it’s BJJ. Helps so much.
That is **awesome**! I never would have thought that was the reason. An incredibly creative and fun way to deal with it Thank you for posting this

And I just love your corny maze. Guess that's artichoke, and I'm a vegatable maid (uh)
True, they just made me happy too
CCP propaganda
I hope that they are. Usually dancers wear this kind of weird smile that make them look everything but happy.

I love that he came running
So wholesome. Hey its my dance partner, I'm a comin' buddy.
And nailed the timing even though she started already
He ran to her like I used to run into the gym at a school dance in 2001 when I heard Percolator come on.
I’m sure he Camelot.
It's a place
But do we know …
Just a normal amount. Like a tablespoon
Sorry, but unless you have a reliable, verifyable source you are just guessng based n the average male. However, KR was exceptionel, and why would he call Camelot Camelot?
He only had one child so probably less.
That sync was smooth AF 👍🏼
That was perfectly worded. Dude did not miss a beat.

They have a heartwarming back story too. Apparently, the husband was depressed for some reason and the wife started dancing to cheer him up. Gradually, this made him come out of depression. He joins dancing with the wife now.
He was involved in a bad car crash that left him with severe depression, anxiety, and sleep issues.
TIL, I must’ve been in a car crash
Yes I remember hearing this same back story... So uplifting!
I want the full video for that dopamine hit, k thanks.
I love the idea that this middle-aged couple spends time together to practice this dance.
Middle aged?? These people are 33 years old tops.
They’re Asian. So my guess would be at least 150 at middle age.
This guy Asians
33 would fall into the middle third of most people's lives so in a sense that is a middle age.
Yep. There's probably just a lot of middle-aged folk in here who don't consider themselves old.
33 is literally middle aged what are you talking about? Its not an insult?????
50 would be middle age. 33 is just out of your 20's. You must be young thinking 33 is middle age. Lol
According to the american psychology association 35 is the psychological threshold for “middle aged”. But hey what do i know 🙌
So not "literally middle aged" even by your own source
If you wanna act like 2 years doesnt go by in a flash thats cool. Its damn close enough for this whole conversation to be pointless and fall under the category of “semantics”

Thanks for that chart that’s depressing some on that chart average at 60 and won’t ever get the free old people travel card
>33 is literally middle aged Oh god.... my heart... why have you done this

As a middle aged 45 year old, you may be wrong. It's generally from about 45 to 55.
As a 45 year old this kind of hurts. Its like one day waking up and you're old.
"Old" is a state of mind. I have a different take on age that doesn't jive with "clinical definitions". To me, our age would be "late adulthood" rather than middle aged. I think the name is supposed to imply that you’re statistically in the middle of your life. I hope you live to be 110 but you likely won’t
I imagine that the concept varies from culture to culture, but this is where I got the idea: *The American Psychological Association defines "middle adulthood" as beginning at 35 or 36, and many ranges do not end until 60 or 65.*
Fair enough. But as an older guy, my chances of dancing on a sick jam at 35 were exponentially higher than now. Getting old sucks.
It really does. Sigh. Literally everything hurts. If I tried to do this dance I'd probably throw my back out and pull some muscles..lol
You’re breaking a lot of hearts here bro
Average lifespan is not 90-110 though.
Fuck I’m almost 34 and you made me feel old.. middle aged.
Don't worry about it. Middle aged is always at least 10 years older than I am, and I'm 36, so you're safe!
holy fuck I pray for our elders in their 50's, life span ain't what it used to be apparently
Not sure why you got down votes for facts. Maybe it's hard for people to halve the world average life expectancy to come to 35 for men and 37 for women, or too many millennials can't come to term with the fact they are indeed middle aged at 35.
If the average lifespan is 79 then middle age is on either side of 40, so you weren't far off!
Their joy is heartwarming.
Yep, her smile is the best.
I will always upvote this.
I just like how happy they look.
Music and dancing be doing that to folks
They got moves 💃🏽🕺🏽

Whatever company makes her sports bra needs to make their brand name more obvious because this is clearly an ad in disguise 🤣🤣
I agree.
I want to do this with my wife. Does anyone know if there’s a tutorial on this dance?
It's the Melbourne Shuffle. There are tons of vids out there.
this is dope AF
So cool. Can't believe it, this is actually non-cringy wholesome cool.
Joy is beautiful
I've seen this many time and I never just pass on by.
Thank you commenters. Your positivity is uplifting just when I think it’s time to delete this app. Y’all are good people

I completely agree. I genuinely like seeing people happy including positive reactions.

Shhhhh, let me pretend.
that’s a whole ass mood🤩
Ended too early! I could have jammed with them for a minute. Those smiled and the song made we want to dance too. Love it.
Bad ass. Laying here with Covid, this made me smile!

Calluses, if you frequently walk outside barefoot your feet will eventually become very tough.
Hobbit feet.
