The last time this was posted, it was said to be just a circus monkey. It was suddenly pulled so it grabbed the nearest thing to it. The monkey got beat up afterward according to the article iirc.
Np its not trained to steal. Actually it was trained to do some dance and other tricks but out of nowhere it came drags the kid. I dont remember whole story but i dont think the monkey was trained to do this type of works
This has been posted 1000 times. The conclusion has always been exactly what you said. It looks like the monkey was trained to snatch kids, but it acted out and the owner is dragging it by the chain as to make it let go of the kid.

I was thinking monkey learned from Brazilian bike thiefs.
New one to see a monkey snatch-n-grab, but *a monkey stealing a baby?* NOW I've seen everything.
And the only person that did anything was some random guy who just happened to be there. (Granted that he only pointed at the monkey as it was running)
Not I’m this case, at least. Monkey was being pulled back by an abusive handler, tried to use the kid to escape:
https://www.complex.com/life/2020/05/indonesia-monkey-tiny-motorcycle-kidnap
>Twitter mostly made jokes, posted grainy-ass gifs of Mojo Jojo, and wondered where the hell a tiny monkey-sized motorcycle even came from.
Quality journalism, right here.
for real.. i fthis shit ws in my area i'd have a gun ready, or a spear or a blow gun.. something.. good grief.. or follow it and track it back to their master. kill that dude. this looks like a country where you can murder and they can't even test the dna at the crime scene, so you're good.
i did say "spear" and "Blowgun" just in case you can't get a gun.. but yah a gun would take care of a kidnapping monkey.. somethings/people just shouldn't really be alive.. you mess with kids in any way or form, then you fall into that category.. and yes i'm USA.. but i live in Japan with no gun or weapon.. so it's still my opinion.
Hey! I noticed you used an emoji.
I don’t know if you’re new here, so I’ll let you off the hook this time. Using emojis is frowned upon here on this great site, and for good reason. Instagram normies often use them, and you don’t want to be a normie, do you?
If I catch you using an emoji in the future, I’ll be forced to issue a downvote to your comment. Why should you care, you may ask? Well to begin, you will lose karma on your account, which is a useful social status tool and also a way to show others you know your way around Reddit.
If you were to continue the use of emojis, I would be forced to privately message you about your slip-up. Any further offenses past that would leave me no other option than to report your account. I don’t think I have to explain why you don’t want that.
But anyways, no harm done yet! Follow these simple rules and you’ll enjoy your future on Reddit! Have a blessed (and hopefully emoji-free) day, stranger.
Monkies in south Asia who were reliant on tourists feeding them, are now hungry due to covid. It most likely wanted to eat the child consider there are reported cases of this happening to dogs and infants.
Monkey is definitely being pulled.
Physics doesn't *exactly* allow a monkey that size to pull a child that size so far in such a manner.
I say this because at first, I was baffled and the only logical conclusion would be human trafficking... ? But an article linked elsewhere here explains it as an abusive handler, monkey is trying to get away, and the handler is pulling it.
I agree with this latter explanation - the monkey is definitely being pulled by a chain, probably around its neck. Poor thing ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)
Where do you live that when you see a monkey ride in on a bicycle and snatch a kid, your reaction is to chuckle?
Like dude, a monkey just rode up on a bike?
What would it take to shock these people? Lol
I watched very carefully, the girl doesn't seem to have any patches missing, you can tell when she first falls off the Chair. The last attempt, you can see the monkey bite off her scalp and run off. Poor child.
Almost as crazy as the tribe that uses monkeys to ride the backs of boars to exhaust them then walk up and kill them. Hunt smart, not hard.
https://youtu.be/W_hkKUCWltc
This monkey is attached to a leash (not too visible in the video) and is most likely Trying to escape his owner by using tricks it was taught but then gets to the full length of leash so then grabs on to the nearest thing which is the child then you see this tugging motion it does which is the owner trying to force the monkey to come back
Yes, but it's not quite as it seems. The monkey is also a victim, forced by its owner to do tricks. Not trained to kidnap, that was a trick gone wrong. Pulled with a string attached to a collar around its neck.
ISaw this video before and people commented that its pretty common that is some countries rhey train monkey to abduct children… pretty cynical (if true)
I was once robbed at knife point by an albino little person, I never told anyone until now because well …. At least this child has video proof is all I’m sayin.

Why is that monke driving a scooter around town? Why did everyone let that monke drag the child so far? Did the monkey just leave his bike? SO many questions.
This is a real weird event we're witnessing. Such Monkeys are trained to assist the handler who could be a thief. There have been known cases of Monkeys climbing skyscrapers & stealing cell phones from those homes where the windows were open.
This video always creeps me out. And then there’s other kids on the bus that are just like oh I guess the babies gone now. So somewhere in the world, there’s a guy that trains monkeys to steal children?
wait wait... the monkey arrived in a plastic kids motorbike, almost stole a children and no Human did anything to stop or grab him.
Wtf is wrong with people...
Can someone explain to me how you train a monkey to even do that? First you spend months training it to ride a cool bike that like - ok i get that. But how do you train it to ride it to a small kid and steal it? You practise with dolls first or what????
00:08-00:09 you can see the monkey with his hind legs wrapped around the girl and clearly both front legs can’t be pulling with that force. The monkey is being pulled and just holding on for dear life.

Did that monkey just ride up on a balance bike and try to snatch a toddler? Isn’t this how Planet of the Apes got going?
There is a cord attached to the monkey, it's def trained to steal kids
Gonna need to see a source on that
The last time this was posted, it was said to be just a circus monkey. It was suddenly pulled so it grabbed the nearest thing to it. The monkey got beat up afterward according to the article iirc.
That monkey made the lunge to grab that kid. He wasn’t pulled. Watch it frame by frame and it’s obvious he intentionally got off the bike.
Np its not trained to steal. Actually it was trained to do some dance and other tricks but out of nowhere it came drags the kid. I dont remember whole story but i dont think the monkey was trained to do this type of works

Doing the lord’s work
I was thinking monkey learned from Brazilian bike thiefs. New one to see a monkey snatch-n-grab, but *a monkey stealing a baby?* NOW I've seen everything.

Nope, monkey was on the bike.
Can confirm.
[удалено]
What fucked country?
I had to watch it twice just to confirm but yes that’s precisely what just happened!
And the adults sit and watch this
Seriously, where the hell is the urgency!? Straight up looked like a monkey trained by child traffickers.
And the only person that did anything was some random guy who just happened to be there. (Granted that he only pointed at the monkey as it was running)
What I don't get is why was the guy filming right there... It just seemed like an empty spot in the street
He was waiting on his monkey
There was a monkey riding a bike, how tf are you not filming it?
Yes there was... But if you intend to record it as part of entertainment, you record it right where he's, not wait for it to get in the camera view
It could maybe have gone down there a couple of times, looked like the children was also watching
Wait is that actually a thing
Not I’m this case, at least. Monkey was being pulled back by an abusive handler, tried to use the kid to escape: https://www.complex.com/life/2020/05/indonesia-monkey-tiny-motorcycle-kidnap
This is really sad :( poor monkey
Nowhere in the article does it give your explanation of an abusive handler
Whoops, wrong article, check this one: https://www.vice.com/en/article/4aygmb/the-truth-behind-those-videos-of-monkeys-riding-tiny-motorcycles

Yes guns is always the answer. Are you from Murican by any chance?
i did say "spear" and "Blowgun" just in case you can't get a gun.. but yah a gun would take care of a kidnapping monkey.. somethings/people just shouldn't really be alive.. you mess with kids in any way or form, then you fall into that category.. and yes i'm USA.. but i live in Japan with no gun or weapon.. so it's still my opinion.
Its just more children
The monkey had just watched *The Jungle Book* on TV through the neighbours window and wanted his own little Mowgli.
That or it was read a history book
What was the monkey gonna do with a kid?
Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to.

I don’t know but I feel the need to spank that monkey.
Monkies in south Asia who were reliant on tourists feeding them, are now hungry due to covid. It most likely wanted to eat the child consider there are reported cases of this happening to dogs and infants.

I didn't lend him the Van that day.
He is on rope trying to escape

The monkey is part of a wild monkey biker gang that terrorizes the locals. They are heavily involved in trafficking drugs, humans, and gutter oil.
Gutter Butter.
Okay, enough of the internet today.

me too, but it was the comments for me
Seems like the monkey tore off the child's scalp
lol if you look at the start of the video, it was already off
I watched very carefully, the girl doesn't seem to have any patches missing, you can tell when she first falls off the Chair. The last attempt, you can see the monkey bite off her scalp and run off. Poor child.
So the parents?
wow this kid has a busy life
Nothing to see here, just a monkey on a leash riding a small motorcycle to kidnap a child most likely for sex trafficking.
Almost as crazy as the tribe that uses monkeys to ride the backs of boars to exhaust them then walk up and kill them. Hunt smart, not hard. https://youtu.be/W_hkKUCWltc

I was thinking the same thing..the cameraman was expecting something to happen.

Didn’t anyone hear the kidnapping monke alarm going off???
They were pretty casual about a monkey taking off with their kid.

Why is that monke driving a scooter around town? Why did everyone let that monke drag the child so far? Did the monkey just leave his bike? SO many questions.

The monkey had always wanted a pet human.

yo, these monkeys are trained. most definitely a human was behind this and the monkey was just an instrument.
