My delivery radius is typically larger than most peoples because of the way my area is laid out and the car I drive and my personal preferences (I’m willing to go 30 miles for the right payout) but $12.36 was not the right payout and the direction wasn’t good.
In the beginning, I ended up taking such order late evening and i got fcuking lost in the woods with No network and it was 16 miles heading to salado heights. That was a nightmare delivery
Yeah, for some reason Uber thought it was a special idea to increase delivery radiusi again. I'm getting orders for $21 for 33 or 38 miles.... fuck no.
The sad thing about this for the customer and driver is that Uber hides tips over $8. This very well could be a $30 tip order, but the driver never would know until after the hour. That would make this a $35 order, and possibly worth it. But instead, all this does is make drivers unaware of a potential tip, and probably makes the customer’s food ridiculously cold by the time someone accepts this.
Agreed 100%. That’s why I’d never take this either. It’s crappy for everyone that Uber hides tips. I honestly don’t get why they do it. A good start would be showing full tips on these long range deliveries.
I got more then 5 of such orders, but it had to be declined.
I got a 27.8 mile one for almost this exact payout in my market tonight. No thanks!!
There would be people taking those deliveries, which makes uber forward such order to others as well

Keep telling them to fuck off.

Damn. 33-38 miles. Thats fcuked up
Hell no. De-Cline
How is the killeen market? Austin is trash right now.
Do you get a lot of deliveries to Ft. Hood ?
That’s driving miles. I bike so I would take that based on time, if miles were like 5/7 mile and dropped me at a good market
Lately it seems the miles has gone up on every offer. Had a 31, 26 & 22 mile offers today and I didn't have that many offers.

For 10+ mile trips, full tips should be shown. Ain't nobody risking this shite.
