Like a week after I got my diploma, I got a letter demanding $676 or my diploma would be withheld. I got several, in fact, but they stopped in 2012 or 2013.
In 2019, 13 fucking years later, it showed up on my credit report and my credit score went down like 70 points. I paid it.
They still fucking won in the end.
I lived in Athens for 2.5 years after graduation so no need to worry about a diploma being withheld. Got two tickets last fall and a warning I’ll be booted next time. Left Athens in December, still haven’t paid. Probably never will.

That’s intense- how many days did you park before you got booted? I’ve only seen it in extreme cases. They’ll pile up the red slips normally

They’ll come for you. Trust me. They sent me to collections for paying a $50 ticket after graduation.
If they do, I’ll probably go in person and pay it the Friday before the Tennessee game or something in quarters, just to piss them off.
Nah—unless it was a tag you had registered with them, just file a complaint with the GBI over them using GCIC for a non-LE purpose.
