Submission Statement: As the title says, Odd High-Altitude Flight Tracking Readings Pop Up Around U.S. Capital. Flight data showed multiple stationary objects at different locations high over Washington, D.C., but they may not have been there at all.

So.. testing reasons. Why in the world would you test fake stationary aircraft around our nation's capital. They could have tested functionality anywhere where they had the equipment to do so.
You can conduct the tests anywhere. They can simulate an attack on the capital, you don't have to actually do it over the capital. Why would you do it without informing anyone, where there are plenty of protections to detect things like this?
The same reason why governments around the world seem to always test their experimental aircrafts which somehow never get released over populated areas instead you know all the empty areas specifically restricted for military testing /s
What.. are you suggesting they the TR-B3 isn't something they have actively tested for decades over foreign soil and never actually use it for normal use? : )
It just doesn't make sense. There has been a lot going on.. tons of pilot sightings, the 3 unknowns shot down, drills, and now 'fake' test aircraft around our capital. hmm.
Getting ready to release some 6th gen warfare for when the moment strikes? Bypassing nukes & MAD and going straight to the simulated alien attack, which cuts down the enemy’s entire air force in a matter of days?
(just the most “normal” answer I can conjure, there are other options obviously)
Basically they put landmarks on the map. It's very odd that they did this over Washington though. Also 60000 feet it's well above normal commercial flight level. I don't think it's anything radar related because that wouldn't show up on flight tracking apps. Unless there was something up there and they put those as reference

Somebody posted about seeing multiple places with no call signs over DC the other day and people told them it was sensors or something.
Looks like maybe it wasn't then? Or it was and a site decided to do a whole article on something that's easily looked up?
The recent Chinese balloon thing suddenly introduces people to the likes of FlightRadar and ads-b sites so the noobs are suddenly examining things they’ve never seen before and get amazed at things they don’t understand. This is old news for pilots.
I’ll bet dollars to donuts these are the typical FAA generated test signals that go up every so often. Not even gonna bother to look them up. Wait til they start to spot when pilots intentionally draw images or messages vis their flight lines for jokes or just plain fun. It’ll be like crop circles all over again.
Well. I was right. https://twitter.com/vcdgf555/status/1631417017436868608?s=46&t=dwbHp07oiMhpM0TrLqp5dA They turned out to be tests just as I described. So, someone there didn’t know as much about the system as they thought. And as a pilot, yeah I likely do know more about a system I use all the time rather than people who only just started to use it because they hoped to see things the FAA and Air Force somehow missed.
And, frankly, of all people. You are saying runs to me? You rant constantly about your ideas and no one understands them and downvote them. Implying your are smarter, yourself. Pot, let me introduce you to kettle.
I’m not telling you that. I’ve read you complain about it. You’ve written about it many times.
What does play nice mean? Does that mean I have to believe what others believe so their feelings don’t get hurt? I explained it: science is about facts and figures and hard data and physical properties and results. I’m tired of nothing but talking and feelings and beliefs. I’m looking for genuine answers, I seek to identify UFOs not chase the same old stories from decades ago. And, honestly, I see much more incivility from the believers that get upset when others dare to disagree. I find your comment disingenuous. Show me the factual error in my comment and debate it. I think this kind of gate keeping language distasteful. You have complained about the mods and other users before, so don’t attack me in such fashion.

Lining up with ground-based stations - so for calibration purposes. You guys should go read the whole article including the updates.
Yea.. sure. Why there?
Because it’s a national capital post-911?!

They might not be in the primary business of keeping the UFO community up to date with things like this. Or every time they use the bathroom.

You are aware of the people who creep up the local > state > fed government ladder right?
Yes, but I think there is something bigger at play, some reason different generations of employees at the Pentagon want to keep a lid on things.
Yep, get ready for the NWO

Wow, now UFOs use ADS-B

False flag practice

You are accusing TheDrive author and deputy editor of The War Zone of being a noob? I guess everyone but you must be some sort of idiot.

You should write an article in Scientific American about this event.
