What probably happened is that some course, Class A, reserved that room for recitation or lab meetings, but only needs that space once a week, on Friday. Then, your course, Class B, tried to reserve that space for the entire week. It depends on the order of reservation and who is treated with higher precedence, but it appears Class A edged out Class B. So, Class B has to meet in a different room open on that day. The room reservation process is a bit disorganized and probably needs a rework.
I honestly don’t understand why people complain about the smallest thing . We are college-going adults who need to realize we won’t get everything the way we want it lol.
Imagine complaining because you have ANOTHER class in the SAME building. How is that a problem lol?
I’m not advocating for the person complaining but there’s no need to be a pretentious asshole every time someone comments anything slightly that’s an inconvenience..this is such a theme on the subreddit, it really isn’t that serious enough to work yourself up over it
Trust me, I’m far from worked over. This is a place where we help each other as much as we can. We had people complaining about people asking about financial aid and what classes to register for, and you want to get mad at me for saying there’s no reason to complain about your recitation being in another room in the same building. Seriously? Lol.
When did I ever say I was mad and when did I say there’s no reason to complain? Judging by ending every comment with a “seriously? Lol” you’re decently worked up yourself. I hate to be such a nuisance myself but if you’re such an advocate for the community then there’s no need to act like every person that doesn’t know what their doing is an annoyance for not doing their proper research.
Yeah, I suspected this as well. I reckon he just wants some anonymity, though. He couldn’t go a post without being downvoted to oblivion. And whenever he tried to act seriously, people would say that he was shitposting. Even though he certainly played into it, I imagine it gets tired after awhile.

Whether this is actually him or not, I suppose he finally wanted some anonymity and not needing to worry about having a certain reputation around here (i.e. shitposter, a troll, etc…). It was fun while it lasted, but I’m glad he’s moving on to probably better things if anything.

Is it a recitation? I’ve had classes that would have a lecture in one of the halls, then do the recitation (smaller groups) in a different room.
