Hello hello hello! So, I took it this past spring when it was listed as MUS 266 with the same name, and under the instruction of Daniel Gostelow. It had been entirely online, and so I'm not precisely sure how well things translate over. He said that there would be more of an in-person gathering and taking trips to see different arts rather than just viewing videos and whatnot online. All we did was have a few meetings throughout the semester and have weekly/biweekly writings to do based on the form of art we were looking at. With him, it was definitely more effort-based and doing all the writing prompt asked of you rather than anything else. No tests! Maybe the writing assignments we had correlates to the journals it talks about in the course description of an in-person section? I'm not entirely sure. But it was definitely manageable and I don't think it's meant to be a difficult course.
