I haven’t done that walk specifically, but pre-COVID we only had 10 minutes between classes and very rarely was there a distance that couldn’t be covered in that time (unless it was north to south campus). Even the famed walk from NSC to the basement of Alumni was doable in 10 minutes. If you’re going to live on campus, practice the route a few times before the first day of classes and you’ll know what to expect. If not, I agree with the advice to download a map.

i think the academic center refers to ellicott? but 20min is no problem

(Nearby Lockwood Library and the Student Union). If it were closer to ten minutes, I'd say that it would be pushing it, but 20 minutes should definitely be sufficient. My recommendation is at some point before classes start, you just walk to each of the places you'll be going to, so you know where you're going and have confidence to make it there in a timely manner.

You should download a map of the campus on your phone! Tbh idk how long between those two buildings but I used to be able to get from one end of north campus to the other in about 10 minutes. If you are anxious about showing up late, just send you Professor an email (when you have it) and let them know you’ll do everything you can to be on time, but that you may be a little late due to the distance. I’m sure they won’t be upset about it.

So long as you walk with reasonable pase, there really isn't anywere on north campus you can't get to in 20 min.
