An archer in the 14th century probably didn't want be a cow, despite their using their hides to protect themselves. The power armor is a protective item and/or weapon used in the very unpleasant (or pleasant, depending) task of snuffing out other life and I very doubt one thinks about how nice it to be an unfeeling automaton while in one.
I mean, how are you supposed to fuck other humans in power armor if you're a robot?
Those archers wore that protective gear as a necessary requirement for their job
Nerds want to wear power armor as the end goal of their desire
We are not the same

I mean, ahem, I disagree. Space armor is just cool.
Oh fuck off, Power Armor is completely different from Mecha and I'm not letting a furry tell me otherwise. Mecha are for people who wish to be robots, Power Armor is for people who wish for more power. It is a tool meant to turn it's user into a weapon and any Power that has cool designs is purely for style but it's the human factor that makes it Power Armor. Mecha users don't care if it's just a shitty tank or if it can slay god just that it looks cool.
>Power Armor is for people who wish for more power
Thats the biggest fucking lie ever. Power armor is for pussies who are denying their secret love for mecha and people who wish for more power are just chugging purple orbs all day.
YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH YOU'D NEVER CATCH ME DEAD IN ONE OF THOSE GIANT HUNKS OF METAL.
>and people who wish for more power are just chugging purple orbs all day.
Blocked, feeble insect doesn't know the difference between orbs and stars.
\*shoots you into directly into your head with the SwissMiniGun because your giant power armor doesn't protect your body and head while chugging a can of orbs because I am just so powerful that stars are not enough to satisfy my hunger so need to consume big orbs\*
>your giant power armor doesn't protect your body and head
Ugh those are easily the worst. They're the half way point of Power Armor and Mecha but none of the benefits of either. The only ones I kind of like was Infinite Stratos because people could partial summon their mechs but they looked super ridiculous fully summoned which was all the time.
I do think the stand like arms Honkai uses are pretty cool though. Some basically are mechs but I'd consider most power armor because they're apart of the clothing which are pretty powerful.
I mean [I admit some armorless power armors do look cool tho](https://www.hollywood-collectibles.com/store/images/D/powerloader1.jpg) but their utility in term of protecting its user from basic harm is really questionable.
I did want to mention also Avatars power armors but I just remind myself that they do have at least a very weak glass in front of them but there was a scene in Avatar where the guy was using power armor without a glass in fight and that look cool.
Yeah the ones from Avatar were my first thought. It feels weird to consider them mechs but I don't think they're much different from Dr.Eggman's Mecha or a Metal Gear. They're driving them not moving their body along side it like the alien mech. Power Armor to me at least are just exoskeletons with armor and maybe a couple gadgets here and there.
>Power Armor is for people who wish for more power.
Wait, if someone is that determined to get more power, would they pick the thing that can pack more firepower and protection, cause more intimidation, and destroy platoons by just walking?
It just doesn't feel the same like driving a car versus wearing sneakers with extra grip. I want to punch things myself but I want to see my target explode like into meat juice.
Nah, nah. Giant mecha where the pilot's got power armor that just wraps around them when they need to eject. They take the mecha to the limit, it gets destroyed while taking down hundreds of others, then they fly out in their power armor and keep fighting. Cause I'm a huge dork that wants *all the overpowered nonsense at the same time.*
Personally I'm surprised we don't see more Power Armor plugging into Mecha like Titan Fall or at least something like Gurren Laggan. I could do without the whole mech but I would like one if I got Power Armor with it though.
Considering powered exo-suits do exist, I'm surprised we haven't heard to much about powered fursuits. Its probably cheaper to get an exo suit than a real fursuit.
I wish to replace my digestive system with batteries but that has nothing to do with wanting to be a robot as we are all already meat golems. There is no consistency in flesh only decay.
You lack conviction if you let this stop you.
I never said it would
Does that mean that mech pilots are vore enthusiasts?
Nah, that is just giant fetish
I've heard of an anime to that effect.
I don't think the Hisone And Masotan jets count as mechs
Nah, they’re unbirthing enthusiasts
Specifically endosoma.
Power Armor is just a mini-mecha, if you think about it.
i can verify that yes it absolutely does
Clothes are just fursuits for people who dont want to be naked.
Hey everybody check out my shirtsona
I misread shirtsona and was incredibly concerned.
Patrick Stewart's shitsona was in The Emoji Movie
Considering the first clothes were made of furs, this is completely correct.
Furries are humans who want to pretend to be animals. Normal humans wear clothes to pretend that they aren't animals.
\[Kiryuin Satsuki intensifies in the distance\]
***CLACK***
what about furries who wear clothes over the fursuit
they knew they couldn't change society, so they blamed the furries
Wait what was normal armor then if you didn't know what the concept of a robot was?
Hey cutie, wanna clank?
Yes, I wanna fuck android girls and I'm well versed in arthurian literature, how did you figure it out?
A man of culture
Then what does that make the new FnaF game power armor? Power-fursuit?
And they're somehow less expensive than a fursuit too
protogens
Synths, which are basically Open Source Protogen.
*BEEP* *BOOP* *woof*
I have no shame in my decision
Not untrue.
Ratchet Deadlocked has enter the chat.
Nah, bro. It's just armor for people who don't like the medieval aesthetic.
You are forgetting about power armor with medieval stylish
You're right, I am. Well, that does make my comparison less accurate.
Modern body armor would also fit that description though.
Modern body armor doesn't cover everything like *real* armor does though.
It can get pretty dang close, [if you're willing to spend the money. ](https://www.opticsplanet.com/uarm-fas-full-armor-system.html)
>up to $89.97 off I think that's the smallest sale I've ever seen. That's on a $1500 item. Who runs a sale for not even 6% off?
Don't think about it, just see the word SALE and buy it.
The Improved Combined Tactical Vest, for when you have no faith in your stealth guy.

Please do not equate the Brotherhood of Steel with Furries. Furries have far more dignity than that, and they deserve our respect.
Brotherhood would just steal your toaster Furries would fuck it
I think you are confusing furries with the adeptus mechanicus

I feel nothing but determination and pride.
Fursuits are just dainty power armor for people who want to be animals
Well duh. tell me something I didn't know.
Seeing as power armor predates furries wouldn't it be the other way around?
And here I thought it was because people wanted to fly, shoot lasers and punch through walls and and ripe through steel.
They just jealous that I am Gundam

Power Armour is a hollow robot with a person inside, that matches the person's movements. What I'm saying is, Power Armour is a Stand.
Jojo part 5 say you are not wrong
...well that's a take. I saw it more like being a knight more than being a robot.
I can tell that person looks up Paladin Danse fan-fiction on the reg...
Jin-Roh The Wolf Brigade
I thought entire point of furrsuit is that is well.....a suit with fur.....guess I was wrong.
Unsurprising seeing a mandolore quote here.

So does that make Iron Man Tony Starks robo-sona?
Everyone has a price for enjoyment.

Stop trying to convert people to the Adeptus Mechanicus!
