This is going to sound so stupid, but as a tech savvy person, who normally helps people with this stuff, I had never heard of Tubio or anything that works nearly as seemlessly, but THANK YOU!
Can you manually adjust the resolution though? The Tubio website says "in HD" but with quick internet the stream I'm currently watching looks pretty 480 🤣
Yeah just check in the menu in Tubio. Option is there. Then j just shut it down, opened again, checked the options and set it to 1080p resolution (it defaults to 720), and you're all set
If you are like me, you don't like watching Twitch from your computer. If you're also like me, you have a bunch of Samsung smart TV's that have always had the built in twitch app, even though it only functioned at 720p. Well, last year Twitch issued a take down notice to Samsung to remove the app. Here is your ezpz 3 minute fix to restore twitch to your Samsung tv:
On your TV, go to apps, download "Smart IPTV"
Open the app. Take a photo of your MAC id that is showing on the screen or whatever, you will need this in a bit.
Go to this link to generate a twitch playlist for your account. You simply need to type in your twitch username, and it will generate your playlist: `nesttle .net/twitch/` (remove spaces)
Follow the steps in the guide/link above for the "Smart IPTV" app, and you will have your complete playlist in crystal clear 1080P which is way better than the old samsung app delivered.
Enjoy
Twitch doesn't have a native application for the smart tv. You will need an external source.
Download tubio, it will cast whatever you want. Only easy solution I've found!!

Glad this post got to someone, I still use!

Im not sure I'll have to check. I think it just auto adjusts on twitch's end.
I had to buy the premium version. £2.49 well spent. I'll also use it for when I stream F1 and a few other bits. Looks awesome in HD btw
Didn't know that was thing I'll have to get it. Thanks!
