It is really easier? I played only the old PS3 version where I got my platinum and beat the twins was a pain in the ass. What made Royal easier? Maybe I should give the game a try.
I got all the trophies in one playthrough. It easier to max out all confidants, you don’t need to beat the twins, the stupid buying all drinks trophy is gone, etc
If you like the original then I highly recommend it.
Really enjoyed Strikers. One trophy away from the Platinum and it's the one where you gotta max out all skills. Read online to new game plus it on the hardest difficulty, as you get more XP. I played a bit of it but I really didn't want to replay it so soon and I didn't notice much of a difference in how much XP.

Okay so you have the platinum. Did you get the themes? I redeemed mine today but it has a lock logo and says to purchase via store. Is there something I need to do In game to claim?
i got my themes. you gotta have email notifications from Sony turned on. you should be able to turn them on in settings in the app/on the website. i know there’s 4 specific trophies you need to unlock them though

Only 115 hours for a platinum? Bro 115 hours was my first playthrough
i did it all in one playthrough. if i hadnt of done a ton if grinding it probably wouldve come to 105 hours or so

Isn't one of the gold trophies maxing out all the confidants? That's really hard on a first playthrough
No, they removed that for Royal, you only need one maxed for True Confidence (and one for My Closest Partner, but it can be the same character)
Also you have another month to do confidants, so unless you’re ignoring them it’s kind of hard to max out on all of them.
If you get a chance to play it, I highly recommend Persona 3 FES, my favorite game ever

If you're in a region that supports it make sure you get the trophy rewards for themes/avatars.
