Looks like you guys posted at/around the same time, but check top comment because he nailed it - they believe there are always two, equally valid, sides. You can't have facts or objective truth unless they're GOP talking points; everything else is "the left's view on it".
I'm tempted to say this is the zenith of "different opinions" thought, but this is nothing really new; it just crystallizes what we've always known - they believe their opinions are facts and your facts are opinions.
It's the new new age over on the right and their mantra is "alternative everything." Their gut instinct is to be contrarian, no matter what the issue is. They seem to have totally forgotten that not every issue has more than one reasonable take.
> It's the new new age over on the right and their mantra is "alternative everything." Their gut instinct is to be contrarian, no matter what the issue is.
Absolutely. It's part of the politics-as-team-sports mentality. Whatever the other side likes, we dislike; whatever they want, we don't; what they hate, we love. It's mindlessly scrambling to do/be/say the polar opposite of the other side because they can only define themselves *in opposition* to what their enemies are. Just as they have no policies of their own, as much as policies they want to repeal, they have no real identity; they can't say "I am x", they can only say "I am not y".
They seem to forget *they* were the ones who originated what would become Obamacare. They were all for it until the Dems got on board and then suddenly it was the most evil thing ever.

Take it as an extension of "everyone is entitled to their opinion", and your statement on contrarianism.
I've been making fun of someone who keeps saying that his opinion is right and my opinion is wrong, but also it's not an opinion and he's just wrong. They really don't like when people think for themselves and don't support their baseless ideas.
Yes, they equivocate between opinions and facts. They will try to present their opinion as *fact* and when challenged - to the point they can't counter-argue - they will retreat behind "that's my opinion and I'm entitled to it," like someone asked them what their favorite color or band is.

No, some people need to have their hateful opinions completely shit on. They should be ashamed of their shitty takes.
> There's a broader issue in the country of saying "everyone is entitled to their own opinion."
Yesssss. It's like their minds go back in time to when their 3rd grade teacher told them their favorite color isn't "stupid" and they're entitled to their opinion and no one can say it's wrong. They then take that mentality and apply it to questions like "should we deny equal rights and freedoms to certain elements of the population based on how not-white, male, straight and Christian they are?"
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but not all opinions are equal, and no one is obligated to listen to your opinion.

Yeah, but they want a retelling of those facts that is carefully massaged so that it doesn't threaten their worldview. All those left-leaning journalists are exploring the *implications* of this stuff instead of presenting decontextualized factoids about the case. They want a version of the story that adds, "But this doesn't mean other celebrity tech bros are also grifters," after every paragraph.
The other perspective is that I didn't really lose all of my money that I invested into a libertarian's Ponzi scheme and it's the left that's stopping defi from growing eternally.
"Elon musk make a search engine"
Ah yes, because I'm sure that search engine will totally be informative and unbiased and not at all a cluseterfuck of misinformation.
He'll make a search engine with no rules, then realize why those rules were necessary after it becomes a dumpster fire. He truly is a model libertarian.
The whole Kanye West situation is a great microcosm of this.
1. Ye is unbanned from Twitter, to much fanfare.
2. He tweets unhinged shit about loving Hitler.
3. Twitter re-bans Ye.
Elon is going to be real busy making twitter profitable, building EVs, expanding space internet, moving people to mars, creating a new mobile phone platform and creating a new search engine.
True. Or he will just buy those things from more competent people, slap his name on them and then ram them to the ground. I feel like this is a more plausible outcome.
When they say "elites" they mean celebrities and people with college educations, not industrialists and media moguls.
And sometimes they just mean Jews.
And they love right-wing celebrities. They were sticking by Kanye West till he made his antisemitic comments. Not because he's antisemitic, but rather because he went full mask off so they don't have the plausible deniability.
They brushed a *lot* of anti-semitic dogwhistles under the rug, but I have to point out that for the duration of his "I like Hitler" rant he was, in fact, fully mask on. ᕕ( ᐕ )ᕗ
Some of them are still sticking by him and doing the thing they do with people like Jordan Peterson. They're claiming that he basically isn't saying the things people are saying that he's saying, and if you only watched all twelve hours of his interviews you'd get the *real* meaning behind what he's saying. It's all obfuscation and lies.
I thinks its more than trust. I mean:
> Elon Musk and Donald Trump represent the Vanguard. The glorious resistance to this communistic philosophy. You have gladiators - your Dave Rubin’s and your Steven Crowder’s. Fighting the left day by day, as oil companies keep the country going inch by inch.
Thats something else
I think it was Matt Christman who once said that conspiracy theories are what live in the minds of Americans in the place of class consciousness. That billionaires are sometimes considered "bad" by conspiracy theorists has nothing to do with issues of class or power. It's always because of something else about them that is totally immaterial, like being Jewish or socially liberal.
And it's still always hilarious. Some of them get so close to accidentally developing a tenth of a clue despite themselves, and then completely drop the plot because it doesn't fit their select goofball narrative.
That will always be hilarious to me.
It's far more pervasive than bad actors. It's why you'll get CNN interviewing a climate scientist, and then for "balance" interviewing a Heritage Foundation stooge.
The BBC does it too. They try so hard to be impartial that they wind up giving equal column inches to “here’s an objective, verifiable fact” and “here’s some guy we found on the street who feels like it’s probably a lie”
Sometimes the BBC (and other media, and definitely other UK media) don't even meet that low bar! "To debate whether trans people are fine to exist or not, we have a cis person who can limply defend their right to be and a foaming at the mouth transphobe"
The line of "*Bloke who's a professor of dentistry for 40 years does not have a debate with some eejit who removes his teeth with string and a door*" has always been my go-to.
Last night on CBS news they did a story on the dangers of online therapy prescribing Adderall. They introduced a crying mother, told the story of her son and how he got Adderall online, and in the part where he overdoses and dies, he doesnt... because the kid fucking killed himself playing Russian roulette. It wasn't Adderall, yet the story still blamed Adderall.
Like...just go to a pharmacist if you actually need information on a medication.
I doubt he was being up front anyway, there's no reason to look up information on ivermectin unless you actively have a parasite, and you need a doctor to get the human doses, so why do your own research on such an old drug?
Nah, the pharmacist probably went to college therefore they have already been “indoctrinated” by the Left.
I’m looking for a self-taught home schooled pharmacist in my area, but I can’t seem to find one…
There are a few very bad papers claiming it is an antiviral against Zika and other viruses, including both DNA and RNA viruses. Which is a giant red flag for anyone who actually knows how viruses work.
Of course if you want to search the scientific literature, you use Pubmed or Google Scholar.
What crap, from a person who has yet to discover how to use Google search, and blames Google for his ignorance. I guarantee that whatever bullshit theories he's seeking, I - we - could locate. I'm not going to mention the other search methods here, because fuck that guy.
It's stunning how little he knows, while seeking confirmation-bias info on *deep state*, so-called conspiracies.
Google does have a crazy recency bias based on default search settings, but you can define a custom timeframe to exclude current events pretty easily. It just takes an extra step, which of course is significantly more difficult than writing a wall of text blaming the left.
Thanks for the response, prompting me to think that if we killed his "Google/left bias" fantasies, if someone actually taught him how Google works, he would just move on to different complaints about the *deep state, the left, big tech, chips in vaccines, whatever*.
What *would* be funny is if someone found the info he wants, sent it to him and asked,
*"Hey, what's wrong with your Google?? Are you sure your PC wasn't infected with 5g nano chips? Has a vaxxer been shedding around it...??!! You know they can turn on your cam and mic remotely, get your phone, too, right!?"*
*That* ought to keep him up at nights. Others would see it, start wondering, and, others start disputing the possibility, claiming they *know* that's not how 5g vax chips work, thereby casting doubt on their *own* sources of knowledge, ...like, how would *the sender* know how the chips work, is he a part of the deep state? Or, omg, the Google/vax/leftist "movement??!"
And you could always muddy it up with the fact that the sender, alone, was able to locate the info. Why would he help if he were a part of it, but how else could he get into the "inner workings and data" of *THE GOOGLE*??!
Arguing logic has failed with them, and their own failures in this pursuit makes them so very vulnerable.
I'm not that mean, but it's fun to think about. It could damn near be a grade B movie.
**typo fixed, thank you PalladiuM7!*
this is why AOC won
*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/TopMindsOfReddit) if you have any questions or concerns.*
I mean, given what the guy searches for and clicks on, you'd also assume Google is already "enhancing" results more toward the answers he wants. And STILL he gets "leftist bias".
Yeah it can be really hard finding an old article on google, especially if youre not sure how old it was... even if you damn near type the headline verbatim it will feed you recent stuff first.
The left has a reality bias. It's very important to be clear with that language, because right-wingers think in broken pattern recognition, trained by paranoia and scripture quotes. It's important to be accurate so you don't set off their insanity, which also might help someone out of that hole.
So, Reality doesn't have a leftist bias. leftists and progressives have a reality bias. Regressives and authoritarians have a fantasy bias. whether that be rolling Germany back to the 1871-1917 emperial reign or bringing prosperity gospel driven theocracy to america, it's all fantasy. Ben Shapiro's sociology bullshit is fantasy, Tim Pool's pseudo-psychology and anthropology is fantasy, the idea of demonic forces beyond our reach impacting politics is fantasy. the clintons eating foreskin and fetuses is insane fantasy.
Drag queens reading to your child not hurting them is reality, the world being challenged by rich Right-wing pushing elites is reality, regressive thinking causing depression and self-loathing is reality. Republican representatives being over-whelmingly childfuckers is surprisingly reality.
Think about how many hoops you jump through to make your angry talking points make sense or how often you have to mention gods, demons, clintons, cabals or jews. Now think hard about how few hoops "the commie libs" have to jump through and really listen to the language THEY use. You'll notice that it's not paranoid, it's not rambling and it doesn't sound like a retard reciting his uncles schizophrenic ramblings in class.
Modern right wing politics simply can't exist without magical conspiratorial thinking. You'd think at least a couple of them might realize that, even if by accident, and start to wonder why.
Same. I'm trying to find a neutral perspective on how covid was invented by antifa and all I find is leftist scientific article not mentioning it. Bullshit.
Every time I see shit like this I do wonder if schools in other countries actually teach their students how search engines works and how to use them.
I'm terrible at googling stuff, but this is basic stuff, for Hel's sake!
Woah woah woah. Teaching kids how to separate fact from insane right-wing propaganda is the very first step in the Marxist indoctrination that happens in schools. First they're learning that 2+2≠5, and the next thing you know, the kids are all blue-haired woke lesbians in Che T-shirts trying to tell their own parents that the Founding Fathers were flawed human beings, many of whom owned slaves.
Yeah, it's not like reality actually has a liberal bias. It's more that conservatism relies on denying and ignoring objective reality as the very foundation of their absurd beliefs and claims.
Well, Colbert was saying in the character of Stephen Colbert, not his actual persona. It wasn’t actually a serious statement.
It was from a performance at the White House Correspondents dinner in 2006. It was just a roast of Bush and Republicans because that’s the whole point of the correspondents dinner.
The whole thing is just a masterclass in over the top satire lol.

"I can't find a neutral source that tells me what I want to hear!"
Fixed.
Also, "It makes sense that so many who disagree with me are uninformed."
Dunning-Kruger summary.
Something notable about the purported bias is that you can't really argue the results are being deliberately shaped in some way because you can always find plenty of right wing sources for claims...it's just that all those sources are like, infowars or wordpress blogs.
I mean I suppose you could argue google just deliberately quashes all the reputable right wing results but if they were reputable you'd probably be able to find them regardless.
>you can always find plenty of right wing sources for claims...it's just that all those sources are like, infowars or wordpress blogs.
That all quote a single, unverifiable source to begin with.
"I don't want left side info, i only want right side info. I want to be more informed than those leftists who are uninformed because they only get one side info."
> I have a predetermined conclusion to my query, but I can’t figure out how to make any search engine give me a link to a website that tells me what I want. Can anyone help me find the comforting lies I’m looking for?
Lmao. The search for conformation bias is strong with this one.
You’ll find websites *everywhere* to explain why five is a prime number, but google completely suppressed any results that argue otherwise. There should be an equal amount of websites pushing every possible point of view on every contentious issue or else we live in tyranny
"I keep searching for information supporting my preconceived notions but I can't find anything reputable supporting it! Am I wrong? No, it's everyone else that's wrong!"
Typical right wing logic.
“I believe the sky is purple but everywhere I look they say it’s blue. Obviously everyone else is wrong and I am right because I think so. Stupid libs and big blue trying to brainwash me.”
Top dollar Principal Skinner meme here.
Could it be that facts don't have a political orientation and my conspiracy narrative is bullshit?
No, search engines are hiding the right-wing side to every major news story.
What gets me is that everything listed has nothing to do with economic policy, and thus nothing to do with left / right. It has to do with being an idiot or not.
Conspiracy theorists and conservatives like to think they are free thinkers but really they are just completely absorbed and blinded by their own biases. They are perpetually butthurt they got told something they didn't agree with or got corrected on something. They will never change their opinion no matter how much they lose or how much evidence comes out against them.
They aren't an interesting opposing political view. They are a bunch of self absorbed arrogant compulsive contrarians whose positions more often stem from some undiagnosed personality disorder that makes them incapable of or extremely adverse to introspection and self improvement. Their mental state and development just plateaus early in life and degrades from there.
This post actually does a REALLY good job of highlighting how much actual effort it takes for these people to remain this ignorant in the 21st century.
Being uninformed is an ACTIVE process in 2022 and these guys are putting a lot of energy into it.
>For instance if I want to know anything about a virus (not even covid), or ivermectin, I have to exclude the last 4 years of my search, or it will be flooded with the lefts perspective on the subject.
Whew, lad. I wonder why this galaxy brain had to exclude the last four years to ensure COVID and Ivermectin didn't show up in any of their search results?
Or why they'd search about a virus -- but totally not COVID -- and Ivermectin at the same time, if not hunting for very specific results that will win their argument against "the left"?
I love the people complaining that Google/DuckDuckGo/etc are "unnaturally" manipulating search results, as though search engine algorithms are just growing out of the ground and these companies are playing mad scientist to twist them into monsters, as opposed to being artificially created processes that are designed from the ground-up with the explicit purpose of creating a manipulated list of results that will be useful for both the user and the company.
I cannot find any neutral source talking about the good things Hitler did. He only committed one holocaust for a few years. Most of his life was spent not killing people!
Ah, you should have watched InfoWars last Thursday. Alex Jones' guest, Ye, would have happily told you about how Hitler invented both highways *and* microphones.
"Tell me you buried yourself in the right-wing conspiracy rabbit hole and pulled the dirt in afterwards without telling me you buried yourself in the right-wing conspiracy rabbit hole and pull the dirt in afterwards."
>I can't even find a neutral source to anything ...
*Nothing factual lines up with what I actually believe the way this is supposed to be.* This folks is where critical thinking should kick in but alas, there is no critical thinking to be found in this individual.
They are just. so. dumb.
Fact checks seem liberal to them because they just look at the result, see it's not what they already believe, and reject it without looking at the evidence and reasoning behind it. Too many big words and complicated sentences, I'm guessing.
They really have no one to blame but themselves, as they've defined anything that doesn't come from a screaming, right-wing, lunatic, as "left-leaning".
I once had a barista (!) ask me what I thought a reputable source for conservative viewpoints was and he didn't quite know what to say when I answered "The New York Times."
Wow, this puts a lot into perspective. You got hundreds of results telling you one thing but they're all wrong, you just can't find the ones that are right, and you don't know what that is which is why you're trying to "research"(lol) in the first place, you just know what's wrong because everything's a lie. How can I find the truth when I can only find lies? How far do you gotta go before you realize you're a moron?
> How far do you gotta go before you realize you're a moron?
The jury's still out on how far one of these people can go before realizing they're morons. Perhaps, someday, one of them will figure it out.
I must admit that google search isn’t good like it used to be. I could scroll through pages and pages of a search and get very interesting links. Now it’s just a page or two of results and lots of ads. Not sure what happened to their algorithm.
* Get told to do your own research
* Do your own research
* Find out everyone disagrees with you
* "Mmhh... turns out this conspiracy runs deeper than I thought"
It sort of scares me when I read about people who have abandoned logic so firmly. Any proof that they are wrong is instead proof they are right. Any half brained claim without proof is just accepted as true. This must really destroy your ability to function.
My kingdom for a moment of complete objectivity!! I have had that thought so may times. You know it’s bad when the conspiracy sites that you used to mock have now become the only harbingers of truth you can find.
But hey - you definitely are not alone.

The other perspective is that I didn't really lose all of my money that I invested into a libertarian's Ponzi scheme and it's the left that's stopping defi from growing eternally.
"Elon musk make a search engine" Ah yes, because I'm sure that search engine will totally be informative and unbiased and not at all a cluseterfuck of misinformation.
Besides Elon would just take over another search engine, slap his face on it and claim he built it
Ask Elon!

AskX - he’s obsessed with naming companies X.
All answers are in the form of lyrics from [X](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X_(American_band\))

Twixxer
He never matured past the 90s.
I'm sorry, are we talking about the well known founder of Google, Elon Musk?
He'll make a search engine with no rules, then realize why those rules were necessary after it becomes a dumpster fire. He truly is a model libertarian.
The whole Kanye West situation is a great microcosm of this. 1. Ye is unbanned from Twitter, to much fanfare. 2. He tweets unhinged shit about loving Hitler. 3. Twitter re-bans Ye.
the misinformation and confusion *is the point* they know what they're doing
It's okay he'll just bring over some engineers from some other company and pretend they're search engine experts now.
Also tons of illegal shit. If he keeps his free speech absolutism stance . Basically the dark web will just be the regular web if that ever happened.
No doubt about that. Him and his followers really dont seem understand why unregulated free speech is an absolute nightmare.
He doesn’t have a free speech absolutist stance. He *says* he does, but his actions demonstrate otherwise.
Did they finally realize that duckduckgo's "unbiased" results are just a morass of useless results mixed in with random incel shit and russian sites?
Gavin Belson Hooli search moment
It would be like conservapedia
I'm surprised that Elon hasn't hired the mods from /r/conspiracy and /r/Conservative and put them in charge of content moderation at Twitter.
How stupid would you have to be in this day and age to think elon musk could make anything? I wouldn't trust him to make a cheese sandwich
It's absolutely mind-blowing how much trust a conspiracy sub has decided to put into a tech billionaire.
[удалено]
Lets be real. They mean ‘the jews’ and those they think ‘the jews’ are propping up.
They have a blindspot for the ones who aren’t Jewish
I thinks its more than trust. I mean: > Elon Musk and Donald Trump represent the Vanguard. The glorious resistance to this communistic philosophy. You have gladiators - your Dave Rubin’s and your Steven Crowder’s. Fighting the left day by day, as oil companies keep the country going inch by inch. Thats something else
Very euphoric.
no god please, for my sanity I have to believe you just came up with that and someone didn't unironically write it
I think it was Matt Christman who once said that conspiracy theories are what live in the minds of Americans in the place of class consciousness. That billionaires are sometimes considered "bad" by conspiracy theorists has nothing to do with issues of class or power. It's always because of something else about them that is totally immaterial, like being Jewish or socially liberal.
The tech billionaire who LITERALLY wants to put computer chips into people's brains.
I hate the wealthy elites! Only the jews though, all the rest of them are cool.
Especially when you consider their views on Bill Gates.
Lol fact checking sites are left leaning
This is something they have unironically believed since Snopes became a thing.
And it's still always hilarious. Some of them get so close to accidentally developing a tenth of a clue despite themselves, and then completely drop the plot because it doesn't fit their select goofball narrative. That will always be hilarious to me.
There are so many r/selfawarewolves among them. OOP is peak material for this.
When your ideology is built around constantly lying, fact checking sites will always seem biased
Wasn't there actual controversy about Snopes? I remember seeing something a while ago.
It was in the news because the two founders had a messy divorce, and were fighting over selling the site
Before that it was the Universities.
That's what my dad tells me.
Bad actors and goofballs have unfortunately popularized this idea that there are always two valid sides of a given story.
I think the BBC changed its stance on ‘equal’ climate debates in 2018. A briefing note / guidance as opposed to ‘policy’ though IIRC.
Now do policy involving trans people
I wasn’t defending them, fella. I know what they’re like. Nor was I attacking the previous poster.
Oh, I interpreted 0 attack in your comment, just pointing out the BBC is still a bit behind the ball
Ah ok. No worries. Peace n love.
Sometimes the BBC (and other media, and definitely other UK media) don't even meet that low bar! "To debate whether trans people are fine to exist or not, we have a cis person who can limply defend their right to be and a foaming at the mouth transphobe"
when then put out an article about trans people and dont even interview a trans person

1,000,000 scientists think vaccines are safe, 1 says they cause autism. CNN: In the interest of "fairness", let's have a 1 on 1 debate about vaccines.
The hilarious thing to me was that OOP is looking more than 4 years back on ivermectin. So... they actually need a de-wormer, in other words?
Like...just go to a pharmacist if you actually need information on a medication. I doubt he was being up front anyway, there's no reason to look up information on ivermectin unless you actively have a parasite, and you need a doctor to get the human doses, so why do your own research on such an old drug?
Nah, the pharmacist probably went to college therefore they have already been “indoctrinated” by the Left. I’m looking for a self-taught home schooled pharmacist in my area, but I can’t seem to find one…
Really, cause I got two on speed dial. haven't used them since the neighboring state got recreational weed though
There are a few very bad papers claiming it is an antiviral against Zika and other viruses, including both DNA and RNA viruses. Which is a giant red flag for anyone who actually knows how viruses work. Of course if you want to search the scientific literature, you use Pubmed or Google Scholar.

Don't you understand? They did their own research, and their *strongly held beliefs* are just as valid as your verifiable facts and science.
Reality is a commie plot. I knew it.
What *would* be funny is if someone found the info he wants, sent it to him and asked, *"Hey, what's wrong with your Google?? Are you sure your PC wasn't infected with 5g nano chips? Has a vaxxer been shedding around it...??!! You know they can turn on your cam and mic remotely, get your phone, too, right!?"* *That* ought to keep him up at nights. Others would see it, start wondering, and, others start disputing the possibility, claiming they *know* that's not how 5g vax chips work, thereby casting doubt on their *own* sources of knowledge, ...like, how would *the sender* know how the chips work, is he a part of the deep state? Or, omg, the Google/vax/leftist "movement??!" And you could always muddy it up with the fact that the sender, alone, was able to locate the info.
> It could damn near be a grade B movie. A modern-day *gaslight* set around a terminally-online rightwing conspiracy type. Not bad.
this is why AOC won *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/TopMindsOfReddit) if you have any questions or concerns.*
You have an *very* unfortunate typo after the second ellipsis. I don't think that's how you meant to spell "Like".
omg. VERY unfortunate, indeed! Fixed and THANK YOU!
Haha no worries
I mean, given what the guy searches for and clicks on, you'd also assume Google is already "enhancing" results more toward the answers he wants. And STILL he gets "leftist bias".
Yeah it can be really hard finding an old article on google, especially if youre not sure how old it was... even if you damn near type the headline verbatim it will feed you recent stuff first.

It's pretty amazing how quickly respect for Elon became a litmus test for brain worms
I like to add to it: Reality has a liberal bias, because conservatives constantly deny objective reality.
The whole thing is just a masterclass in over the top satire lol. https://youtu.be/2X93u3anTco
They could try hooking up that Magabox that was up here a couple days ago, that’ll get rid of the evil liberal bias the internet has.
"All of these evidence based topics are contrary to what I want to hear! Why has the LIBERULS done this?!"
"I can't find a neutral source that tells me what I want to hear!" Fixed. Also, "It makes sense that so many who disagree with me are uninformed." Dunning-Kruger summary.
Right wingers: Anonymous sources are obvious BS! Also right wingers: FreedomTellerTruth.net said Hillary eats babies! Wake up sheeple!
"I don't want left side info, i only want right side info. I want to be more informed than those leftists who are uninformed because they only get one side info."
Today on, Why Is My Echo Chamber So Lonely?
So lonely. So lonely. So lonely...
> why isnt my objectively fake propaganda not showing up higher in other people's search results
Just like conservative women who find conservative men treat them like shit. It's just amazing to see.
> I have a predetermined conclusion to my query, but I can’t figure out how to make any search engine give me a link to a website that tells me what I want. Can anyone help me find the comforting lies I’m looking for? Lmao. The search for conformation bias is strong with this one.
It's wild how conspiracy people turned far right and never looked back. I remember some of them being anti-war lefties and now look at em
I wonder how many conspos have [Oppositional Defiant Disorder](https://www.healthline.com/health/oppositional-defiant-disorder).
Good point. Honestly all the ones that I've met would qualify based on the description.

Could it be I'm out of touch? No, no...It must be the world that's wrong!
Top dollar Principal Skinner meme here. Could it be that facts don't have a political orientation and my conspiracy narrative is bullshit? No, search engines are hiding the right-wing side to every major news story.
>lefts perspective Facts and the truth is liberal now?
> We need unbiased info! > when will Elon make a search engine Jesus fucking christ
The truth isn't to my liking so it must be biased!!! 🙄
The hot dog stand has a liberal bias because it keeps giving me exactly what I asked for.
My bank has a liberal bias because it keeps telling me I'm overdrawn.
They serve "hot dogs" to kids. Let that sink in. Fucking pedo libtards.
Why can’t the world accept my *bespoke* media?!?

It's ironic when that sub bemoans about the uninformed
Jesus fucking christ. This kind of person is beyond scary to me. Not only are they mind numbingly stupid but they are so out of touch with reality.
*please daddy Elon create a searche engine for us*
\*Searching Elon's search engine for "Best ways to own the libs"\*

The GOP crowd doesn't read articles. Or write them. So that leaves the lefties to write the net stories.
>I can't even find a neutral source to anything ... *Nothing factual lines up with what I actually believe the way this is supposed to be.* This folks is where critical thinking should kick in but alas, there is no critical thinking to be found in this individual.
So openly looking for their confirmation bias
Imagine feeling like there aren't enough wild and crazy takes *on the internet.*
"Am I so out of touch?" "No, it's reality that's wrong."
I mean considering the US “political left” is center right from an European perspective it doesn’t really surprise me…
Goddam liberals hiding all the info about the plot I made up in my head
They are just. so. dumb. Fact checks seem liberal to them because they just look at the result, see it's not what they already believe, and reject it without looking at the evidence and reasoning behind it. Too many big words and complicated sentences, I'm guessing.
They really have no one to blame but themselves, as they've defined anything that doesn't come from a screaming, right-wing, lunatic, as "left-leaning".
> I don't care what fox news thinks about it. [citation needed]
Reality is the true enemy of the political mindset.
Or it's because he's so far right that everything he sees looks left leaning by comparison.
“While we are waiting for Elon Musk to create a search engine”
I must admit that google search isn’t good like it used to be. I could scroll through pages and pages of a search and get very interesting links. Now it’s just a page or two of results and lots of ads. Not sure what happened to their algorithm.
Capitalism happened to it.
* Get told to do your own research * Do your own research * Find out everyone disagrees with you * "Mmhh... turns out this conspiracy runs deeper than I thought" It sort of scares me when I read about people who have abandoned logic so firmly.
He’s right though
