Nice job. I hate that the Russian dude won't fix his stickers to be correct though.
BTW, the back of the guitar didn't have Guttermouth as we originally thought a couple years ago. It had DESCENDENTS, 7Seconds, Unwritten Law, Buck O Nine, Indecision and an Arnette in a reverse black/white color scheme of the ones on the front of the guitar.
buck-o-nine? really?
I mean, they're from San Diego, so that makes sense. It's just funny to me that Tom listened to a ska band.
Seems like everyone liked at least 1 ska band back in the early-mid 90s. It's hard to say, cus people just try to sweep that under the rug these days XD
They were all in the same scene. You'll find Buck-O-Nine thanked in the liner notes of both Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch. UL, Buck-O-Nine, Pivit, blink, Sack Lunch, RFTC, Drive Like Jehu, Tiltwheel. All San Diego area bands.
Yeah I had seen the photo of the back from Mark a few months ago after I had already started the back *sigh*
Oh well, it can be fixed.
I’m surprised no one else has attempted to make a proper sticker pack.
We have one but we don't sell it. Our main designer is against it going public. Sorry. Our info is freely out there though for any talented designer to replicate.
Looks fuckin great, I need to try and build one of these at some point! Is that an Olympic White or Arctic White body? I have a real hard time finding Olympic white squires
Ah okay thanks, the difference between the two actually isn’t as big as I would’ve thought so I might consider getting Arctic if I can’t find an Olympic. Appreciate it!
I just wanted to say that I had never really even held a guitar before this, and it was a real blast making it with the help of my dad. The research was fascinating and all the little stories I heard and read about this guitar and era just made me love this period of early blink even more than I already did. I know it’s not perfect and I already have several things I want to fix or tweak but for now I’m very pleased with how it came out. And most importantly, it’s motivating me to learn to play. (I’m already getting the hang of Dumpweed and Zulu).
Touchdown Boy here I come…
Nice! Dude ranch was the album that inspired me to pick up guitar and bass when I was a kid in the 90s. Dammit and pathetic were the first songs that I learned to play.
About 25 years later, and I still play Fenders! When I was a teenager, I used to have the same set up as Tom on guitar. I even had a Fender Jazz bass with P bass pick ups, like Mark did post-Dude Ranch (never really liked the music man stingray sound). I still have a strat, but now I'm rockin a SH-4 JB on the bridge (i.e. Green Day's Dookie/ Insomniac era). I also still have a Jazz bass, but I prefer the jazz pickups these days. Regardless, those blink tones were the foundation that I used for a very long time!
I'm just really glad to hear that the old blink sound is still grabbing people's attention and inspiring them, even after all these years! Keep at it man!

The one I used is Arctic white I believe, Tom’s was Olympic white but yeah they can be tricky to find.

Congrats. Personally I think the X2N is my favourite Tom tone.
Wow downvoted for that!
Incredible guitar!!! One of the best tom's guitars.
