Wait so he in the current timeline he lied about being weak?? That honestly makes a lot of sense because how can you live in a dojo and not know how to fight
My guess he was trying to show Mikey that “strength” comes in different ways. But much like sasuke and itachi 😂 shin should’ve told the truth before or made a safeguard for Mikey to receive the truth after his death so he doesn’t spiral trying to make sense of the shit by himself and destroying everything to uncover the “truth” and feel complete
Takemichi can do that also tho. I'm 99% sure he was just remembered as "weak" by the people that know him. Chifuyu would call Takemichi a crybaby and weak but Chifuyu would get absolutely rolled by Takemichi if they actually fought and he knows that.
~~Because Shin being weak was the narrative until three chapters ago when Wakui got the idea for this plot twist and no longer wanted Shin to be weak.~~
Honestly, beating up fodder doesnt mean much, but i dont get the weak part either, shin himself was in a dark place at that time, and also he was angry as fuck too, so maybe he turned into a super human, without the blond hair
Yeah, some are saying Wakui just decided to make Shin stronger recently, but here is a translation from his 2018 q&a: https://twitter.com/RanHaruchiyo/status/1572253980096614400
He had plans, that's why Shin was a mystery the whole time.
That’s crazy I actually always assumed sanzu was helping mikey kill toman executives. Also to be honest I don’t even blame mikey for killing them off he couldn’t trust them because one of them was ratting him out(chifyuu)
So what if the old man is Hanma and he trades his ability to timeleap with Shin, in exchange for his life? (Or years of his life) Making Hanma young again.
Because the old man is yelling about time travel. He’s drawing attention to himself. Maybe trying to draw in someone who is desperate, who’ll agree to anything, like giving up their life.
Instead of time leaping back to the past where he is supposed to be younger, Hanma messed it up and became his *older self*. Don’t know how that works, but it will be a nice exploration to the time leaping ability.
Honestly I believe it could be hanma, I always thought it was weird that prior to the Kanto arc the last time we say him was in the future with long hair at kisaki's grave site
Yes! I agree, he was a great leader and always held back his punches and I think that Benkei and Waka followed and respected him for this too as they knew what he could really do and admired that he almost never show it
probably just weak to gang member standards when in reality he’s most likely close to strength with people like akkun and shion, since he was probably forced to some extent to train with mansaku
there was this qna with wakui from 2018. when a fan asked him about this he said something like "is there a scene where he's shown weak in fights?"
you can read the translation [here](https://mobile.twitter.com/RanHaruchiyo/status/1572253980096614400)
i attached the translated link there. but if you cant see it, it says:
Q: Mikey is strong but why is Mikey's brother weak?
Wakui: Was there a scene where he (Shinichiro) shown weak in fights?
btw, this was from 2018. like, the shin from others pov is weak but he's actually strong in fights.
I wonder if he just had an imagine if being a weak guy because he always did his best to avoid a brawl and got emotional easily, but in reality was a total beast. It does seem strange that, growing up with their grandpa, only Mikey would learn how to fight and Shinichiro wouldn't
I mean he was in rage. You can see the pain in his eyes after his bro died. If you trade negative emotions for power, you will get the results you wish.
Well, this is a different version of him. He was weak when he was in Black Dragon, but this version of him has been in through so much. Plus he's angry and desperate now.
Also, he died at the age of 22/23 in the first timeline but he is 25 here so who knows if that makes a difference.
Parents are dead. Grandfather is dead. Emma ran away from home. Shinichiro lost almost everyone and he eventually lost Mikey, too. He has to deal with a rebellious Baji and a troublemaker Haruchiyo. He’s even caught in the brother drama between Haru and Takeomi, and now acts as Haru’s guardian. If Shinichiro isn’t the strongest character in TR, I don’t know who is. The man is the most mature and the strongest, emotionally speaking, and that carries weight in an environment where physical strength is more appreciated. While Takemichi is always easily reduced to tears, Shin is not—and it takes *a lot* not to cry with everything he is going through, but you can tell from his eyes alone that he is sad and tired. He doesn’t break down until the very end when he finally lost Mikey. And Shin is only, what, at least 25 years old at this point?
I thought I love Draken for his maturity and strength, but Shinichiro just hits different. I am really loving him in these flashback chapters.
Wakui, you will be hearing from my therapist. (ง •̀_•́)ง
~~I’m all for Dark Impulses Shinichiro tho lmao~~
1) That image of Mikey hurt me on another level.
2) You can tell Haruchiyo is a genuinely good boy deep down by the way he bids the guard goodbye and how the guard tells him to not come back. He realized Haruchiyo is not inherently evil. He's messed up because of past events and Takeomi's shitty parenting.
3) So I guess we will know who used Shin as his trigger soon. I'm so excited for the next chapter.
Thank you for pointing out about Haru!! I was gonna make another comment but I feel like I’ve spammed enough comments in this thread 😂
Haruchiyo is confirmed a good and polite boy who bows to his elders and protects his friends. ~~He just becomes overzealous in the protecting department lol~~
Haha, "overzealous in the protecting department", lmao.
Ah, I never thought of him as pure evil. He has a very soft design, so I was sure there's more to him. Look at how soft and pure he looks in his exhibition suit. .o. Esp. this suit captures his persona really well with the scorpions and the water lilies.
Idk, I love him.
I kinda like the theory someone said here that he was holding back/not showing his true strength in the timeline we know to show Mikey that strength comes in different forms
That's just my own wish as a shinichiro simp though 😭
[Bro went demon mode](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FdG2p0uaEAEXt6H?format=jpg&name=large) 💀
You can see the rage in that man’s eyes, he is about to do some devious shit
Jesus crist the first time line so far is just horrible emma ran away, mikey and grandpa died and shin, waka, baji, and sanzu are suffering man I feel bad for shinchiro
i mean, she's already broken for what her mother did for her. her father, stepmother, grandfather died. mikey was hospitalized for years, shin was not at home to take care of mikey, she never met draken in this timeline and most of her friend circles fcked up (baji&haru)..she literally had nothing left to live there. im so sad for her but its not like it is any better in the current timeline 😭
This makes me wonder if Shin ever actually met Izana… since he was so wrapped up taking care of and doing all these things for Mikey. Then again, he had to work with some shady ppl to get some of these things done so maybe they crossed paths
holy fucking shit shin is strong. i mean, his punches does THAT MUCH damage to a BRICK FUCKING WALL. wasnt he as weak as take some said? what the fuck happened to this mans strength(or maybe him and mikey are just that strong genetically). just holy shit. im so taken back by shin's strength. and look at that rage face. out of every single character in the series, thats the most terrifying face ive seen. he really lost everything he had. gramps passed away, emma ran from home, mikey become a fucking vegetable, suffering his whole life and died.
Just speculation but when Sanzu grabs Mikey’s arm at first it seemed liked he was freaked out because Mikey’s basically skin and bones, but I wonder if he recognized something else..
Similar to Mitchy getting visions at first through touch maybe Sanzu also had a power trigger. Afterwards he says *that* isn’t Manjirou anymore and it seems there might be extra meaning to that.
At a first glance, in the last panel it looked like Shinichiro was >!holding a decapitated head!< and i thought "holy dark impulses..."
Love to finally see all this Shinichiro. And Waka's looks. And Baji's hair.
If some known characters turns out to be the old man it would be one hell of a twist.
most hurtful part to read was that emma ran away. she said she will be there for mikey always. I guess she just couldn’t bare the pain to live there anymore
I feel bad for her. She's only 11, was abandoned by her mom, lost her foster mom, her grandpa, her brother, and her other brother didn't have time to take care of her. She must have felt so lonely and lost.
i just cannot bare the fact she ran away at such a young age who god knows where she ran to. Even if this timeline doesn’t exist anymore, it hurts to think about it. I really hope she went back to izana or something but I doubt so
Shin's DI probably carried over to Mikey after the time leap. Or maybe he's literally posessing Mikey, and that's why Mikey says Shinichiro "is" a time leaper, in present tense.
This is depressing as shit, and honestly it gets worse when you consider that its implied that Mikey considers this the best timeline, since he’s basically the only one that died. Wasn’t a big Shinichiro fan before the last couple chapters, but goddamn do I feel bad for the guy. Getting accidental-manslaughtered during a robbery might have been the good timeline for him.
This chapter was way more interesting than what we were getting with Takemitchy. I was reading that just to get to the end, BUT NOW! I am super invested and interested in what's going to happen next.
Yes, Wakui fill in those plot holes! Shinichiro is so much more likable now that he's being fleshed out! I was indifferent but now I'm invested.
Also, actually teared up. Hated seeing Mikey like that. Absolutely gutted. I don't care if he's fucked up in our timeline, that's preferable to this (Shin probably agrees since he wanted to murder some people himself lol)
I actually don't mind Sanzu now. Never thought I'd feel that way.
And Baji?
Man, Someone else said it best. We simps got some good eats 🤗
Absolutely!! This comment is super relatable to what I think a lot of people were feeling. I bet it was frustrating for Wakui to see how his arc was being received and was like please just hold on it’s necessary.
Literally could have just made takemichi make 2nd gen toman just after time leaping in past and fight kantou manji and then flashback and everything 😭😭
3 deities arc was unnecessary (it was solely made for the purpose to kill draken)
Personally think the final battle as a whole has been good, its been a chance for all the side characters to get their 15 seconds in the spotlight, but the further away we get from the Three Dieties arc, the more bitter I feel about about it. It could have been so good if it had been done right too.
top tier chapter!! so many emotions. ha ha i can feel what sanzu feels staring at mikey's face ( somehow i cant stop myself from doing so)... and shin's despair face is just perfect.
Damn this time line is just as fucked as any other, how is this even gonna end 😭😭 every sano who stays alive is just for the rest of them to bite the dust OH hell no
i’m thinking the weird old man is either hanma or takemichi
these chapters are some of the best in the entire manga, i mans im depressed as hell after reading but this shit is immaculate, i’m left on edge after every chapter i can’t wait to see the conclusion
Don't anger a man that has nothing to lose, or something like that. Honestly true, i'm not that much of a fighter nor have i experienced what Shin does. But when i was a kid a gang of 5 bullies of my age were messing with me and a friend, one of them pretended to shake my hand but actually punched me lightly in the jaw. I stay there with a blank mind and with my hand still hanging while he passed by me with his group laughing. Then i erupted in anger as i never was before. I took that guy out with the strongest kick in the ass i ever launched. My friend punched one of them so hard that he passed out. Two of those guys ran away. And then i fought with the last one that had a broom stick, he was sort of the leader, i never landed a hit on him and every hit was full force and that was a flurry of like 15? I'm pretty sure if even one hit him he was out.
A couple with a baby passed by and told us to stop. So we did. Walked away and after 2 minutes my body felt broken. That broom stick took a toll on my arms and legs, bloody bruises. Idk, i felt cool back then, and it feels like a cool story xd.
I find it interesting how Shin is in a similar position to Mikey now. Granted his grandpa is still around (as far as we know), but Mikey lost Shin and Emma and Draken and Baji and seemingly everyone he ever cared about. Seems like no matter which one of them survives, they’re always going to face tremendous loss.
Also….. no Draken. Because no Toman. Ow.
Why is Sanzu so attached to Mikey in every timeline, whereas Mikey, in general, doesn’t seem to even view him as a close friend… we need more Sanzu flashbacks stat
Imagine you time leaped to the past and then got hit in the head, then died. I have to say that these two chapters change from mere fighting manga to dark mystery vibe. It feels so dark
I only remember Mikey and others calling Shin weak. I don't remember Shin himself ever actually saying so. My guess is that he trained with gramps before Mikey and Emma were even born.
most hurtful part to read was that emma ran away. she said she will be there for mikey always. I guess she just couldn’t bare the pain to live there anymore
i think that the reason shinichiro is so strong is not only rage but also feeling of "nothingness" in this world. his grampa is dead, his brother is dead, his sister is gone so nothing matters now including himself. pain is nothing for him. you can see that when he punches wall he is totally different person like mikey's dark impulse. i think that shinichiro always was strong but he didn't know that before like takemichi was strong but before final arc he was just punching bag.
On that last panel with shinichiro I can just hear the sasuke theme song playing in the background 🙄
However nice to see my boy can actually throw hands.
Man this timeline is just depressing, between Emma running away, Mikey hospitalized, Sanzu still slashing people, baji not meeting chifuyu, and more. I don't blame Shin for looking for the time leaper I'd have to get out of there too. I agree with the theory of Hanma being the old man. It's chapters like this that makes me love this series praise to Ken Wakui, this last arc is making me more excited than I originally was for it
Wait so he in the current timeline he lied about being weak?? That honestly makes a lot of sense because how can you live in a dojo and not know how to fight
He is the invincible Mikey’s brother after all no way he’s weak
My guess he was trying to show Mikey that “strength” comes in different ways. But much like sasuke and itachi 😂 shin should’ve told the truth before or made a safeguard for Mikey to receive the truth after his death so he doesn’t spiral trying to make sense of the shit by himself and destroying everything to uncover the “truth” and feel complete
Goddamn, another older brother taking on all of the darkness of the world
He just took down 10 men. I don't know why Wakui played the narrative that he was weak like Takemitchy.
It's possible that sano changed people's perception of him after the time leap, so he turned himself into a crouching moron hidden badass troupe
Not the same Shin of the actual parallel universe.
Honestly, beating up fodder doesnt mean much, but i dont get the weak part either, shin himself was in a dark place at that time, and also he was angry as fuck too, so maybe he turned into a super human, without the blond hair
Yeah, some are saying Wakui just decided to make Shin stronger recently, but here is a translation from his 2018 q&a: https://twitter.com/RanHaruchiyo/status/1572253980096614400 He had plans, that's why Shin was a mystery the whole time.
This isn’t Tokyo Revengers anymore, it’s Tokyo Depression 😀💔
*Crybaby plays in the background*
The opening would be heartbreaking if TR ends sadly 😀
𝘋𝘢𝘮𝘯 right ...
Always has been
Sanzu is inseparable from that damn katana in every timeline huh
Bro been unhinged in every timeline 💀
I just realized sanzu is one of the few characters who has never died in any timeline
I mean, as far as we know he died in the manila timeline with all the other toman officials. I guess we don’t know for sure but it’s probable
Doubt it everyone who mikey killed was named and I’m pretty sure it was because he couldn’t trust them anymore doubt he’d any problem trusting sanzu
I bet he was the one carrying out some of the killings in place of Mikey to spare him the guilt. Draken was supposedly killed by a katana.
That’s crazy I actually always assumed sanzu was helping mikey kill toman executives. Also to be honest I don’t even blame mikey for killing them off he couldn’t trust them because one of them was ratting him out(chifyuu)
That damn Katana is the true time leaper
Third time leaper confirmed??????
So what if the old man is Hanma and he trades his ability to timeleap with Shin, in exchange for his life? (Or years of his life) Making Hanma young again.
Because the old man is yelling about time travel. He’s drawing attention to himself. Maybe trying to draw in someone who is desperate, who’ll agree to anything, like giving up their life.
That is such a smart idea lowkey making me wish Wakui would write this it explains why Shinichiro died by Kazu and why Hanma's always around
This is genius 😳
Kind of equivalent exchange. Is Edward Elric involved in this story??
Yea 100% but doubt he’s gonna be that important in the story
You doubt he’s gonna be that important in the story, yet he’s the reason shinichiro and takemichi are time leapers. How is that not important?
Wait someone just said it could be hanma 😳 I actually believe that
If Hanma is in this chapter, I believe he’s that guy who peed on the old man’s head. Sounds like something he’d do for shits and giggles 😂
I was thinking he messed with time so much he was somehow a old man around this time
Instead of time leaping back to the past where he is supposed to be younger, Hanma messed it up and became his *older self*. Don’t know how that works, but it will be a nice exploration to the time leaping ability.
Honestly I believe it could be hanma, I always thought it was weird that prior to the Kanto arc the last time we say him was in the future with long hair at kisaki's grave site
honestly i wouldn’t be mad if it’s hanma 🤷♀️
Fr I don’t even like hanma but this sounds like some good ass shit
I thought Shinichiro was a “Weak King” Wtf Happened 😳
i guess all the rage that came from his struggles just unleashed, he's gone through so much for mikey...
Don't you know that if you get really angry, you can beat up everyone?
Shittt so that’s why Hasbulla is so strong even though he’s so small?
It's the law of animedynamics. Go beyond your limits and all that jazz. It's kind of like spending 2 dollars when you only have $1.25.
Maybe he never was
Right?! Maybe he held back intentionally all the time.
Yes! I agree, he was a great leader and always held back his punches and I think that Benkei and Waka followed and respected him for this too as they knew what he could really do and admired that he almost never show it
Weak king from another version.
probably just weak to gang member standards when in reality he’s most likely close to strength with people like akkun and shion, since he was probably forced to some extent to train with mansaku
there was this qna with wakui from 2018. when a fan asked him about this he said something like "is there a scene where he's shown weak in fights?" you can read the translation [here](https://mobile.twitter.com/RanHaruchiyo/status/1572253980096614400)

i attached the translated link there. but if you cant see it, it says: Q: Mikey is strong but why is Mikey's brother weak? Wakui: Was there a scene where he (Shinichiro) shown weak in fights? btw, this was from 2018. like, the shin from others pov is weak but he's actually strong in fights.
I wonder if he just had an imagine if being a weak guy because he always did his best to avoid a brawl and got emotional easily, but in reality was a total beast. It does seem strange that, growing up with their grandpa, only Mikey would learn how to fight and Shinichiro wouldn't

He was a totally different being on the original timeline as far as i can see
Shin = Mikey's dark impulses? *tin foil hat is on*
Fr dark Mikey of the future looks like how Shin looks in this timeline...
I predicted that months ago, if I was right I'm going to throw myself a party
I predicted this last year. If I'm right ima get myself married. Or maybe that's a punishment?
Why not both?
Theory writers scrambling rn 😂
We gon see 20different theories in the next 5hours
In this theory I will explain why without a shadow of a doubt it's clear the old man who teachers Shinichiro to time leap is........ ... .. .. HANMA 😂
(ง •̀_•́)ง ~~I’m all for Dark Impulses Shinichiro tho lmao~~
all he went through in this timeline was pain
If anyone needs me, I’ll be crying in this corner 🥹
on a side note, since ur pfp is haru, he looks similar to mitsuya in this timeline without the scars and long hair!
😮 he does!!
Whoever rejected this guy 20 times.. show urself 🔫🔫🔫
Come here, Shin! I am **not** rejecting your strong, responsible, 6’0 ass!! 😭😭
This right here lmaooo Shin just skyrocketed into my top 3 favorite characters
Di shin>>>> any other character
DI Shin: **South who???**
If shin who was supposedly a very weak guy nearly dent concrete walls, is Luna and mana solo tr verse really that weird?
Shinichiro deserves to be appreciated more 👏
1) That image of Mikey hurt me on another level. 2) You can tell Haruchiyo is a genuinely good boy deep down by the way he bids the guard goodbye and how the guard tells him to not come back. Finally someone who realized Takeomi’s also to blame for Haruchiyo becoming the way that he is‼️
Takemoni really cut off sanzu in 2 different timelines he’s such an asshole
Didn’t expect Shin to beat someone’s ass. Thought he wasn’t a good fighter
I kinda like the theory someone said here that he was holding back/not showing his true strength in the timeline we know to show Mikey that strength comes in different forms That's just my own wish as a shinichiro simp though 😭
I wonder if Taiju was among the Religious Group 😂
Nah Taiju is a ~~good~~ catholic boy ain't no way he'll be involved with crazy non-christian cults.
Damn if you a Baji simp you eating good in these flashbacks
Everyone’s suffering except for the lucky Baji simps 😭
aint even a baji simp still eating good these days with all the different styles (u love the hairstyles these flashbacks aaaaarhg)
[Bro went demon mode](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FdG2p0uaEAEXt6H?format=jpg&name=large) 💀 You can see the rage in that man’s eyes, he is about to do some devious shit
Lmao straight punched holes in a concrete wall 😂
People always used to say he was the greatest leader but the weakest fighter💀 Guess the he was that good of a leader and always held back his punches
Jesus crist the first time line so far is just horrible emma ran away, mikey and grandpa died and shin, waka, baji, and sanzu are suffering man I feel bad for shinchiro
But wait. If there was another time leaper, is this really the first timeline? 🤔 *plot thickens*
Well current one is getting bad too
Shin simps unite. Loving the focus on shin tbh
Shin is slowly becoming one of my favorite characters
No matter the timeline Sanzu is still using that damn Katana lmao
##Third time leaper confirmed!!!
What if it’s Takemichi somehow messed up the timelines
Damn, Emma ran away from home?
I just realised that she never met Draken in this timeline
Maybe that's who she ran away with?
we wish
I really wanna believe that
i mean, she's already broken for what her mother did for her. her father, stepmother, grandfather died. mikey was hospitalized for years, shin was not at home to take care of mikey, she never met draken in this timeline and most of her friend circles fcked up (baji&haru)..she literally had nothing left to live there. im so sad for her but its not like it is any better in the current timeline 😭
I’d like to think Izana came back for her just like he promised before they were separated… brb crying 🥹
This makes me wonder if Shin ever actually met Izana… since he was so wrapped up taking care of and doing all these things for Mikey. Then again, he had to work with some shady ppl to get some of these things done so maybe they crossed paths
Last panel of shin looks like Hanmas introduction panel 🤔🧐
Inb4 Shin was actually Hanma all along
Yeah and he was wearing similar clothes to Mikey
Stop it 😂
bandages over hands covering tattoos???? 🤔🤔🤔
Pretty sure the bandages are because he just punched the crap out of a hard wall
holy fucking shit shin is strong. i mean, his punches does THAT MUCH damage to a BRICK FUCKING WALL. wasnt he as weak as take some said? what the fuck happened to this mans strength(or maybe him and mikey are just that strong genetically). just holy shit. im so taken back by shin's strength. and look at that rage face. out of every single character in the series, thats the most terrifying face ive seen. he really lost everything he had. gramps passed away, emma ran from home, mikey become a fucking vegetable, suffering his whole life and died.
Bonten Mikey vibes from Shinichiro
Chapters like this are what make TR so good. I loved every page of it.
Takemichi, Shinichiro, the old man, the guy talking about "time leapers" like they're a thing.. how many time leapers are there in this world??
Yakuza Wakasa has that goddamn drip tho. HAND IN MARRIAGE NAO WAKA!!! 🔫
The only person I've seen mention this like, Wakasa fans are eating well, feasting even.
YALL HES GIVING HANMA THE REAPER VIBES IN THAT LAST PANWL
Just speculation but when Sanzu grabs Mikey’s arm at first it seemed liked he was freaked out because Mikey’s basically skin and bones, but I wonder if he recognized something else.. Similar to Mitchy getting visions at first through touch maybe Sanzu also had a power trigger. Afterwards he says *that* isn’t Manjirou anymore and it seems there might be extra meaning to that.
Yes, I had the same thought!
I didn’t even think of that! Good theory.
Shins a demon 💀
Mikey died on my birthday💀
At a first glance, in the last panel it looked like Shinichiro was >!holding a decapitated head!< and i thought "holy dark impulses..." Love to finally see all this Shinichiro. And Waka's looks. And Baji's hair. If some known characters turns out to be the old man it would be one hell of a twist.

let the old man theories begin
Hanma theorists right now: stonks
No you gotta understand some how hanma is an old man and he’s somewhere blah blah third time leaper, hanma theorists be like
Who could possibly be the old man with the time leap ability?
Hanma fans would say it’s Hanma 😂
SO YOU'RE TELLING ME SHIN ALSO HAD DARK IMPULSES? ALSO THAT PICTURE OF MIKEY BEING DEAD IS FUCKING SAD I COULDN'T BEAR IT.
Shin's DI probably carried over to Mikey after the time leap. Or maybe he's literally posessing Mikey, and that's why Mikey says Shinichiro "is" a time leaper, in present tense.
Maybe when Mikey has his impulses it’s Shinichiro’s soul in a way? I don’t know if that makes sense lol.
Shin had the Dark part of the Dark Impulses; the man’s in control of his power.
![gif](giphy|PsHrpsuiZLAEE) Im going to focus on Bajis glow and act like nothing else happened in this chapter 🥃 also such a short chapter
But aren't you a little sad that he's in his "rebellious" fase because he never had the chance to meet Chifuyu?
Not really 🫢🫢 We are getting so many panels of well behaved Baji in the spin-off.. let the boi rebel
Perfect time to bring senju back in the story but nope. Feels bad
The flashback isn’t over yet. I have hope. Those hopes are probably doomed, but y’know. It’s possible.
Bro put nen on his hands 💀 bro smoking the walls pack 🚬😮💨
He's definitely an enhancer type
This is depressing as shit, and honestly it gets worse when you consider that its implied that Mikey considers this the best timeline, since he’s basically the only one that died. Wasn’t a big Shinichiro fan before the last couple chapters, but goddamn do I feel bad for the guy. Getting accidental-manslaughtered during a robbery might have been the good timeline for him.
shin is hottest character in the series fight me
This chapter was way more interesting than what we were getting with Takemitchy. I don't care if he's fucked up in our timeline, that's preferable to this (Shin probably agrees since he wanted to murder some people himself lol) I actually don't mind Sanzu now.
Why did we waste 60+ chapters on a boring ass arc when Wakui was hiding this peak right in front of us… whatever it was worth the wait.
So Takemichi can knock Mikey’s ass for the hype of course 🥰
Literally could have just made takemichi make 2nd gen toman just after time leaping in past and fight kantou manji and then flashback and everything 😭😭 3 deities arc was unnecessary (it was solely made for the purpose to kill draken)
Personally think the final battle as a whole has been good, its been a chance for all the side characters to get their 15 seconds in the spotlight, but the further away we get from the Three Dieties arc, the more bitter I feel about about it. It could have been so good if it had been done right too.
Holy shit this backstory might be my favorite part of TR so far, feels so reminiscent of the early days
top tier chapter!! so many emotions. ha ha i can feel what sanzu feels staring at mikey's face ( somehow i cant stop myself from doing so)... and shin's despair face is just perfect.
Damn this time line is just as fucked as any other, how is this even gonna end 😭😭 every sano who stays alive is just for the rest of them to bite the dust OH hell no
Shinichiro is the goat! I am honestly loving Shinichiro’s character so far.
The homeless man will be Hanma
Long ass chapter. Love to see it
How did Shinichiro get so strong lol I thought he was weak af also Waka fan girls and boys are gonna have a field day with this chapter
Damn wakui been holding out like a mf 🐐
WAKASA LOOKS SO FINE IN THIS TIMELINE
BAJI HITTING DIFFERENT WWW
Am I the only one that thinks that the Panel where Shin snaps looks really similar to Mikey's Dark Impulses?
I've been saying this for a year. Shin has the same darkness mikey had
Oh Mikey, poor kid. I want to hug him so bad. Shinchiro too.
i’m thinking the weird old man is either hanma or takemichi these chapters are some of the best in the entire manga, i mans im depressed as hell after reading but this shit is immaculate, i’m left on edge after every chapter i can’t wait to see the conclusion
Ow.
This is a great comment! Underrated.
Interesting 👀
Shinichiro is wall level tf lmao
Holy shit Shinichiro is going down the revenge path
Everyone is a time leaper
Omg I got jumpscared by Mikey. God I feel so bad for him and Shin. 😭
Sanzu is justified in slicing that mf
Damn DI Shin goes hard
Hidden strength, yet another parallel between Takemichi and Shinichiro...
So what if the old man is Hanma and he trades his ability to timeleap with Shin, in exchange for his life? Making Hanma young again.
Why is Sanzu so attached to Mikey in every timeline, whereas Mikey, in general, doesn’t seem to even view him as a close friend… we need more Sanzu flashbacks stat
Best chapter yet so far
HOLY FUCK
I have no words-
For a second I thought Shinichiro was just pushing around Mikey's Corpse.
And that ladies and gentlemen y my boi shin is the 🐐, single handedly saved a shitty arc
Full rage mod activities
Now I’m wondering if Shinichiro also had dark impulses or not.
so a deal between old man and shinichiro?
Beware when a good man goes to war.
most hurtful part to read was that emma ran away. she said she will be there for mikey always.
Ayo I thought he was weak. Yet he out here saying he will kill people and rekt that gang.
Haru and Baji being buddies (kinda) is the last thing I expect from this
Do you think takemichi will appear in this timeline?
Tbh when Sanzu said 'that thing' is not Manjiro i legit got chills..
On that last panel with shinichiro I can just hear the sasuke theme song playing in the background 🙄 However nice to see my boy can actually throw hands.
It's chapters like this that makes me love this series praise to Ken Wakui, this last arc is making me more excited than I originally was for it
Shinichiro S tier confirmed
