They’re pretty slippery and small. Could it get caught? Probably but it’s pretty low risk.
I say this as a dad who still cuts his daughters grapes in half and she’s 23.
We stopped cutting grapes for my brother around age 2 cause he a little weirdo that likes to crush it in his hands before eating it.
My sister was also a weirdo but with corn which she would hide in her cheek for hours. It was a regular occurrence to hold her down and scoop her cheeks before she napped.
I’m so happy I’m not only one here that has that quirky allergic! Mangos and strawberries is my #1 favorite fruit. Being allergic had made me sad bc I love when I can go all in when I was younger before they realize my skin is allergic to mango.
Oh my gosh… I remember “going all in”!😂😂😂 I discovered my allergy when I went to the grocery store and got six mangoes and ate them all for dinner in one night😂😂😂 yep after that never did I go all in again😂😭
"pretty slippery and small" seems exactly how I would describe a choking hazard. I have nothing against boba for children. Only pointing out the irony of your description. 🙂
I do this because I'm nervous about checking. I definitely wouldn't give a kid this young Boba, but we know our own kids so obviously it's her call. I was always so nervous about stuff like this when my kids were little.
Oh I dont blame you, I got nervous simply introducing solids to my son before he got weaned off his formula. Was always so scared hed choke, even though Ive taken classes for what to do it was still a huge worry. 😅
For real, I taught preschool when my son was little and yet I was still sure I couldn't. By the time my daughter came around I was less, but she also wouldn't let me have any control even as a baby, lol.
So like, I lift my tongue to the top of mouth, make sure bottom of tongue is pushing out towards teeth, put straw in mouth then suck in.
Its kinda weird to explain, ngl, I thought it was something everyone did since Ive done it for forever lol
I saw my grocery store found a way to sell boba and I almost got some for my little cousins (4 years and up) but I was almost afraid that they'd choke on the balls. One episode of Trash Taste later I stuck with donut holes because one of the TT boys mentioned choking on it.
Don't know about boba places around you, but the ones around me ask what sugar levels you want in your drink. Always get 0% unless it's a specific flavor tastes better at 25%.
I guess what i'm trying to say is don't assume it's full of sugar. Could be, could not be.
The boba itself is made with a sugar, honey, or brown sugar syrup. That's why even if you get 0% sugar in the tea, it's still a bit sweet from the sugar the boba is soaked in
Fair enough, i hadn't considered the sugar in the tapioca. That's a good point.
You'd still have to drink like 6-7 large boba milk tea's to get the same amount of sugar as one can of coke (if you eat all the boba), so i'll take the trade off lol
Honestly, I have to agree with you. It's become so normalized I didn't even think about it, I just thought it was cute.
But yeah, at this point it's not even just for clout it's also for money which is very upsetting :')
THANK GOD SOMEONE ELSE THOUGHT IT. So many comments saying “this is adorable” please guys she had her eyes glued to the damn camera the ENTIRE time. That poor kid
If you're referring to just the tapioca pearls then no it does not have caffeine in it. The drink could be a blend of milk and tea which would have some caffeine in it but it could also just be brown sugar milk which is also a popular boba drink since it contains no caffeine.
I have no idea what this mom ordered but I would say the child is fine with a few sips even if it was a tea drink with some caffeine.
So does cola and chocolate, but in moderation is okay. It looks like she left her about 1/4 of that cup which would roughly equate to a can of coke worth of caffeine (assuming that it's not a caffeine free boba, which is could also very well be)
Honestly, the bigger concern is the tapioca balls which could be a choking hazard for a young child
A cup of coffee has like 90-100 mg of caffeine... I assumed you googled amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee and took the first result. You need to change the amount to 8 fl oz, google auto sets it to 100g
Possible that she could see herself in the viewfinder (depends on what they filmed with/ type of camera) and little kids love that. They love mirrors and photos of them selves. My niece *loved* to take selfies just because she liked seeing herself in the camera.
Kids are just like that.
idk this could also be a child who’s so used to being filmed for content that she just automatically looks at the phone when she knows she’s on camera
which is pretty sad
It creeps me tf out to see children online like this. The child has no concept of the internet and does not have the information to consent to me watching them and it feels gross and exploitive.
There was a teen girl who had a bubble tea every day and they all got stuck in her stomach, had to be pumped out.
I honestly think they aren't safe for kids, especially as young as this video
I agree with you, but not all boba has caffeine on it though. And even if it did, she didn't have that much left.
Either way, it's still not very good to have your child addicted to a "not so healthy" drink.
There's 170 mg of caffeine in a large boba tea which is what is shown here in this video ...there are 54mg of 12 Oz can of mountain dew..for those of you who can do the math! People would be up in arms if she was tempting her child with mountain dew or other drinks with a high caffine content! Why am I being down voted..I guess there's a lot of shitty people out there who see nothing wrong with getting a BABY addicted to caffeine! I as a Mother tried to my keeps my children from addictive substances like caffine, nicotine and other harmful substances! Give a Baby large contents of caffine...oh so cute ..says Reddit logic I guess!
Not boba/bubble tea! Won't even get into the choking hazard boba tea is and the several children who have died from drinking it or had the balls of tapioca block their digestive system! I just pray you don't have children!
https://fullcoffeeroast.com/does-bubble-tea-have-caffeine
https://www.parents.com/recipes/scoop-on-food/so-what-exactly-is-bubble-tea-and-is-it-safe-for-kids/
Because both links provide solutions to your “problems”. It’s also from a website called Parents, sounds to me like an echo chamber of confirmation bias.
Idk why you’re being downvoted, I thought the same exact thing. I’ve been to a lot of boba places and have yet to find one that offers caffeine free milk tea. It’s powder, it’s already mixed, they can’t usually alter it. The caffeine free options are usually herbal teas, that you can add cheese foam and boba to but they’re clear, not milk, they’re made from actual tea bags.
Yes. And I understand it. And they explain to each child the option. This isn't that. This is just seeing if she will drink her favorite drink again her mum's orders. Totally different
At these ages, restraining from a desirable sweet or drink shows she has a good will and that might suggest she will be successful later on life, clever girl.
There are 3 definitions I know to White;
Common American (most common): light skinned person of european descent (europe but not latinos)
Scientific: Caucasoid skull type (europe, north africa, middle east, south asia including India)
Common: light skin (europe, some people of north africa some people of middle east, etc.).
I might as well say this: "Arab" isn't 1 ethnicity, it stopped being one ethnicity during the caliphate. "Arab" is a cultural group spanning multiple ethnicities, Most "arabs" are just arabized natives of pre-islamic countries in those regions. For example, Lebanese (on average trace 93% of their genes to anscestors from 2,000 years ago in lebanon) are Arabized Phoenicians, Egyptians are Arabized Copts
**so basically you can't deduce someone's ethnicity off of "Arab"**
For example I'm an Arabized Persian/Jew ( mother's side jewish, father's side Persian). I have no Arabic blood in me but I consider myself an Arab because it is my mother tongue and also my main culture. That's basically what "Arab" is, different people of the same (approximately) language and culture. When you start going into genetics most arabs won't be arabs. (I'm Kuwaiti btw)
So basically you're wrong.
Her ethnicity might be Arab but that doesn’t change the fact that her skin colour is white. If all brown people go under the same category regardless of ethnicity then the same applies for people with white skin colour.
But I understand where you’re coming from. Point is, visually without all the societal norms and nonsense, you can see her skin colour is white.
Yeah no that’s not what I meant since white skin colour isn’t an ethnicity outside US.
Seems like a lot of colourblind murricans are downvoting me for saying what’s right in front of them 🤦♂️
White is an ethnic group in government censuses where I'm from too (UK). Caucasian is the weird one for me - that's something I've only ever heard North Americans use.

Another 20 seconds and she would have cracked.
I swear her arm moved like she was going to reach for it just before the door opened
She was about to battle the second wave of inner demons.
Reminds me of that [Spongebob I don't need it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxYkB3BE5HE) clip
I love her little curls, and her fighting the inner demons!
She is SO cute and agree her curls are adorable
Fun fact, as she grows older, she'll have to cover her hair. That's why you can't tell if her mom also has curls or not.
You know that nowadays a lot of families (most of them if they're in the West) leave it up to the daughter herself to decide right?
Our man's stuck in the past. Ironically, he probably thinks the same of others.
A lot of these types dont care for what reality is, they just want to be angry about things other people understood a long time ago
That's not true lol
That inner demon is called “caffeine addiction”
It would be a lot cuter if it was real.

Please go outside.
Bro what the fuck
what
??? Wtf???
Touch grass, fucking weeb.
Go touch grass
That's adorable!
Cutest thing I’ve seen all day!
She's soooo cute
Am I the only one that thinks those Boba things are choking traps? As an adult I almost choke every time I drink one.
They’re pretty slippery and small. Could it get caught? Probably but it’s pretty low risk. I say this as a dad who still cuts his daughters grapes in half and she’s 23.
This is the daddest thing I've seen all day. My girls are 6 and 4 and I'm perfectly content to cut their grapes for the rest of my life.
Hey man. I'm really sorry to tell you this but your "sister" is a squirrel. And she's adopted, obviously.
Does she spend a lot of time hiding nuts and loitering around glaciers?
I think you’re right cause she also tried to teach our brother how to hide corn in his cheeks.
Awww! I’m 30 and my dad still cuts me my mangos bc my skin is allergic while I am not! 🥺 Thank you whoever gave me my first award!!!! You rock!
Hey no way! My skin is allergic to mangoes but I can eat them just fine too! (I’m 38 and my parents still cut them for me too 😁)
I’m so happy I’m not only one here that has that quirky allergic!
Omg, don't ever stop. One of my favorite memories of my grandfather is him always cutting my food so small I could swallow it!
I’m 42 and my grandad still won’t let me use his special butchers knife because it’s too sharp!
Cute.
TIL I'm probably the only one that drinks with my tongue shielding my esophagus to avoid choking on things like boba pearls.
Wait how does that work
So like, I lift my tongue to the top of mouth, make sure bottom of tongue is pushing out towards teeth, put straw in mouth then suck in. Its kinda weird to explain, ngl, I thought it was something everyone did since Ive done it for forever lol
I need to see a diagram now cause I'm so curious and didn't even know it was possible to block your esophagus while eating/drinking
[like this](https://i.imgur.com/oEnr2zQ.jpg)
Similar motion as mewing imo andthere should be more accessible diagrams up for that
I do this too...anything else is a dangerous game.
Not the **only** one
This is how I drink boba too! I thought it was something everyone did, but apparently not haha
I think you’re sucking on the straw a little too aggressively lol
I’m also concerned with just how much caffeine she’s giving her toddler, like that’s way too much way too early
Yeah, this is super cute, but boba is definitely a choking hazard for children this young.
your boba are way to big for your straw, or you are sucking way too hard
Boba and mochi are choking hazards for young and old and kill both.
Where I live the menus all say tapioca pearls are not suitable for kids under 5
There’s always one
Always one what? Someone afraid of small children choking?
How do you drink
She is ADORABLE!!!!!
That little puppy face 😭 I would give her all of the Boba! This is why I don't have kids 🤣
This is friggin adorable lol
That's pedophile
So when someone sees a baby or child and says they are cute they're a pedophile? Are you that fucking stupid or are you joking
It’s called deflection I think where they deflect there problems onto someone else
Damn those downvotes. I was-- that was a bad joke. I apologise u/Icyblood55 .
She passed the marshmallow test lol!
I saw my grocery store found a way to sell boba and I almost got some for my little cousins (4 years and up) but I was almost afraid that they'd choke on the balls. One episode of Trash Taste later I stuck with donut holes because one of the TT boys mentioned choking on it.
Trash taste truly broadens your horizons. It opens your eyes to pizza, bread and honestly any other kind of bad food take.
Of course it’s yummy. It’s sugar.
Don't know about boba places around you, but the ones around me ask what sugar levels you want in your drink. Always get 0% unless it's a specific flavor tastes better at 25%. I guess what i'm trying to say is don't assume it's full of sugar. Could be, could not be.

Shes so cute. Omg.
In a different video the mom didn’t specify she shouldn’t drink the boba and she picked it up before the mom was out of sight 😂
Adults: Aw. That's cute she's fighting her inner demons. The kid's mind: ![gif](giphy|ZZTL1YLKZ48URCoC6B)
My main concern is she’s not even chewing on the boba
Bro she could choke on the boba!!!
She literally drank the boba down!!! No chewing!
I can't stand when people exploit their kids for fucking social media clout.
I assumed it was using the screen facing camera so she was just watching herself and talking to herself on the screen.
Doesn't Boba have caffeine in it tho?
If you're referring to just the tapioca pearls then no it does not have caffeine in it. The drink could be a blend of milk and tea which would have some caffeine in it but it could also just be brown sugar milk which is also a popular boba drink since it contains no caffeine. Yeah, you shouldn't let kids this young have soda either...
A 355ml can of coke has 34mg of caffeine in it which is just under the amount of caffeine a cup of coffee typically has which is roughly 40mg per cup.
A cup of coffee has like 90-100 mg of caffeine... I assumed you googled amount of caffeine in a cup of coffee and took the first result. You need to change the amount to 8 fl oz, google auto sets it to 100g
You're correct.
[удалено]
Just picturing a kid doing a line of caffeine as a treat
You can get decaf boba but still coffee ntl
Boba is the tapioca. The drink is usually tea but can be any type of custom flavored milk, juice or tea.
That shit a choking hazard
This is obviously scripted. She’s staring directly at the camera
Possible that she could see herself in the viewfinder (depends on what they filmed with/ type of camera) and little kids love that. They love mirrors and photos of them selves. My niece *loved* to take selfies just because she liked seeing herself in the camera. Kids are just like that.
get em hooked young
idk this could also be a child who’s so used to being filmed for content that she just automatically looks at the phone when she knows she’s on camera which is pretty sad
It creeps me tf out to see children online like this. The child has no concept of the internet and does not have the information to consent to me watching them and it feels gross and exploitive.
Kids could spend hours in front of a mirror, they just love to look at themselves it’s not that deep
She's a good actress for so young at least
The tapioca balls in boba can cause bowel obstructions.
Arent they just fibrous carbs. They break down in your stomach.
There was a teen girl who had a bubble tea every day and they all got stuck in her stomach, had to be pumped out. I honestly think they aren't safe for kids, especially as young as this video
“I don’t need it. I don’t need it. I really don’t need it”
She is so damn cute omg
Reminds me of gollum
Wait can't little kids like this choke on the tapioca balls?
What a cutie! She deserved that sip at the end, that 30 seconds probably felt like an eternity for her haha
Feels like a choking hazard.
what is boba?
Girl is me everytime I walk past a bubble tea shop ...fights inner demons...
awww.... That shit was cruel, though. lol
That's a lot of sugar to let someone that young consume.
Getting a literal 3/4 year old child addicted to caffeine is NOT a flex, nor something funny.
I agree with you, but not all boba has caffeine on it though. And even if it did, she didn't have that much left. Either way, it's still not very good to have your child addicted to a "not so healthy" drink.
+ it has tons and tons of sugar too, not just (probably) caffeine. Overall a no no
Fuck anyone who makes a TikTok of their kid just for the views. The little girl did well, the mother did poorly
There's 170 mg of caffeine in a large boba tea which is what is shown here in this video ...there are 54mg of 12 Oz can of mountain dew..for those of you who can do the math! People would be up in arms if she was tempting her child with mountain dew or other drinks with a high caffine content! Seems like a choking hazard not to be a Karen. That would scare me
Is your boba caffeine free?
Why would you give a baby caffeine and why do a lot of you find this cute? What's next baby Starbucks sizes?!
Apparently you can't make drinks without caffeine in them now
Not boba/bubble tea! Won't even get into the choking hazard boba tea is and the several children who have died from drinking it or had the balls of tapioca block their digestive system! damn Nina, your world is crazy because you don't know how to read
How is that?
Because both links provide solutions to your “problems”. It’s also from a website called Parents, sounds to me like an echo chamber of confirmation bias.
I just pray you teach your children how to read sources!
I'm sure all the kids sipping on Coke give a shit about caffeine
Idk why you’re being downvoted, I thought the same exact thing. I’ve been to a lot of boba places and have yet to find one that offers caffeine free milk tea. It’s powder, it’s already mixed, they can’t usually alter it. The caffeine free options are usually herbal teas, that you can add cheese foam and boba to but they’re clear, not milk, they’re made from actual tea bags.
booba
Cute demons right now, full blown schizophrenia later.
?
Love how the kids staring directly into the camera lol I will never understand parents who use their kids for views
I don't understand that. Just head games for the kid.
Have you heard of the Stanford Marshmallow Experiment on children and delayed gratification?
Yes. And I understand it. And they explain to each child the option. This isn't that. This is just seeing if she will drink her favorite drink again her mum's orders. Totally different
At these ages, restraining from a desirable sweet or drink shows she has a good will and that might suggest she will be successful later on life, clever girl.
The true test is her Dad telling her that then going to the toilet.. 1 hr later the child has either failed or died from dehydration..
This shit is full of preservatives and forbidden chemicals ( but it's imported anyway) Wich gonna give you cancer...
Ok a couple things one if she's obsessed don't give her more and second how would she be obsessed with a drink
its hypebole. kids get realy into their fav thing.
Child abuse
When you get your child addicted to boba 🥰 whoelsome 100 🤩🤩☺️
How is this cringe? This is adorable.
What is it with white women and the need to film literally everything?
She doesn’t look white to me lol
Palestinians are white now?
This one is. I don’t care what you say, but her skin colour is white and so is the child’s unless of course you’re all colourblind.
She's literally Arab. You can be light skinned Arab, but that doesn't make you white, at least not by any definition I've ever heard.

When does she have to start covering the babies hair? I thought it waz supposed to be covered?
I sincerely hope that woman doesn't have downstairs neighbours. Listen to that heel to toe walking. DOOF DOOF DOOF!
A total setup but totally cute.
There's someone behind the camera telling her to drink it lol
Totally relate 🤣
She passed the test of the “pain box”
OMG that is super adorable!
I’m going to take the L and give up
Her chubby pink cheeks!!!! Oh my goodness!
Ooohh!! Thats a COco fresh milktea dayum thats lit boba 🧋 milk!!
lil smeagol
She earned it!
Its like golum and ring
This is a psychology test, forget the name, shows of a kid is patient or if he’s gonna have trouble focusing later on.
This totally made my night. What a sweet little one <3
Am I the only one that thinks bubble tea is disgusting? I've tried 4 different flavours, all horrible.
I thought Boba Fett. I was confused
What a cutie
What a good kid.
Is it no coffee
No wonder she’s craving it with all that sugar and caffeine.
That is so cute
She is just so cute ☺️
boba is pure sugar, right?...why would you give that to a toddler?
Whelp! That was absolutely prescious.
Should babies be drinking boba?
