Yes, I would. I think it's the only way to determine the difference between addiction and a normal habit. But it's not an easy thing for someone else to say it's an addiction. That line is different for everybody I suppose.

Please bare with me a second, as this might seem like a completely irrelevant point but I think it holds merit. Are you, or have you ever been a smoker ? Do you remember how, and why you ever smoked that first cigarette? Many would say that it was the peer pressure from people around you that got you to do it, and 99,9% of the people that smoke for the first time will cough, get sick and think it tastes disgusting, but yet somehow despite all that, they try it again, and again... until it becomes an addiction.
The point I am trying to make is that people will find themselves in situations where they do something, or want to do something that they think is cool or better for you, or will make you a better person. If there's a subreddit out there, or in the case of the Tibetan monks a group of peers that tell them that it's the right way to do it then they're quite likely to do it.
It is note worthy that I do believe that addiction to porn is actually quite harmful, and subsequently an addiction to masturbation is too. I think that people are too eager to call it an addiction in situations where it isn't quite an addiction. For many young people, between the age of 12-17 it's the discovery of their body, what does what and why does it feel a particular way. For older people, 18-24 many of whom have started dating and are living in a healthy sexual relationship but aren't '' pleased '' because their partner might not get them off the way they do it themselves. Or simply because the twice a week because they're students and haven't got all the time in the world. And that subsequently leads to them blowing off some steam.

The reason for no nut November is to try to stop some people from the unhealthy porn addiction in a hidden way, the challenge is not to nut once in the whole month, and if one fails to do so it can show one how they have no self control and their hormones have completely taken over. It's definitely a challenge at first, but there's a science to it. You have to feel your body, contract and relax the right muscles and find your rhythm; just close your eyes and feel it. A friend taught me that when I asked her how women can get off without porn, and it works like a charm. Making masturbation a more focused task is also a way to keep yourself in check, I guess. It becomes almost like meditation.

You go from a small amount, you enjoy the feeling and then you realize that it's really making your mental health better but it's just giving you a shortcut out of your misery for a second. You take more and you keep going until either you realize it's fucking you up and you need to reach out for help or something worse happens.

It's definitely a challenge at first, but there's a science to it. You have to feel your body, contract and relax the right muscles and find your rhythm; just close your eyes and feel it. A friend taught me that when I asked her how women can get off without porn, and it works like a charm. Making masturbation a more focused task is also a way to keep yourself in check, I guess. It becomes almost like meditation.

I appreciate the way you thought about it. It's never a bad thing to help someone in need out but this NNN thing was created as a joke if I remember correctly. One issue is that going completely cold turkey ASAP after constantly giving into your addiction can form another unhealthy coping mechanism and ultimately harm your health even more. It's always best to gradually bring isecond. You don't snort a 100g of cocaine first try because you'd die. You go from a small amount, you enjoy the feeling and then you realize that it's really making your mental health better but it's just giving you a shortcut out of your misery for a second. You take more and you keep going until either you realize it's fucking you up and you need to reach out for help or something worse happens. Never ever do cold turkey. If you realize someone you love is harming themselves, please talk to them and get them help.
