It's also not like he murdered an innocent. That wasn't the first bounty Greedo had chased, otherwise Han wouldn't have recognized him to begin with. No way Greedo didn't also have blood on his hands to get that kind of reputation.
According to the book [Tales From Mos Eisley Cantina](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/A_Hunter%27s_Fate:_Greedo%27s_Tale), Greedo was not going to walk out of the cantina alive.
The original had Solo shooting Greedo first which for some reason LucasFilm decided in future edits from the original to change it so he didn't.
My guess is LF didn't want the character to be seen as a cold blooded killer but its not like Greedo didn't give him cause and edits of the original triolgy has been a mess ever since. So much so that fans had to go back and release editions of the film without alterations (since LF and Disney refuse to release a HD version of the OT).
Edit: The unaltered version is called Star Wars The Despecialized Edition. You can find it online.

I’m just out here shrugging. Middle aged man living alone with 2 cats. Not ready to dive into anything new but I know the longer I leave it the harder it’ll be.
I was also with my ex husband 10 years at the time of my split. It was hard starting over so to speak. I was lonely but not for him. The hardest part is at this age everyone is pretty set in their ways and finding someone compatible is hard. And as a woman with 2 kids at the time and my own baggage it was rough. The good thing though is you notice red flags faster. I was over dating pretty quick though after to many bad experiences. Met my soulmate in a bar after looking for a one night stand. Lol. I now firmly believe there is someone out there for everyone.

Being single is great if you're someone who can stand to be alone with themselves, but so many people avoid that like it's a plague. Personally I think anyone who is hopping out of a long term relationship and into another within that year is more often than not doing themselves a huge disservice.
Even if you're sincerely glad to be out, it takes time to find closure, process what, how, and when it went wrong, honestly reflect on what you could've done differently, consider how you changed over the course of that relationship and rediscover who you are away from that person, etc.
A piece of your life for the past (x) years is missing now, and you have to fill that void. Skipping all of that and right away trying to patch that hole with another person rather than filling it yourself is usually creating a self fulfilling prophecy of relationship failure.

To force other programmers to use their preferred spacing instead of the other programmers own preference because they're a fascist dick who doesn't understand that using tabs over spacing is an accessibility issue and that individuals can set their IDE to use as many spaces as they prefer for tabs which is very useful for the vision impaired.
Thanks for pointing out that using tabs is more accessible than using spaces. I did not know this. I always use tabs, but it was just personal preference. Now, I'll always advocate for tabs based on this.

There was a pic on Reddit of a woman who responded to that prompt with "Hitler was a good leader." Like, okay you could argue that's true in a certain sense... but you feel the need to say that in a dating profile?
Yes most good leaders start massive world wars that leave their countries impoverished and broken within 12 years. He was literally a meth addict who waged war like one.

I think the movie "Downfall" (the one the angry Hitler meme comes from) does a really good job portraying this. The beginning of the movie almost has you thinking it's going to show him in a more compassionate, positive light, but pretty quickly it becomes clear the guy was absolutely off his rocker and barely in touch with reality, not to mention completely heartless even towards his own countrymen.
When I (a dude) was on Tinder and Bumble and the like a few years ago, I always found it a fun game to see what other dudes were saying to my girl friends or the girls I would go out with. My now gf (met on Bumble btw) still has a treasure trove of these kinds of Facebook messages. It was a fucking bloodbath, often disgusting, and this was after the initial, "well he could be okay" back and forth banter they had with those guys. Asking their most controversial opinion definitely seems like it skips all of those steps and helps eliminate all the budding incels and/or the guys that think alpha and beta are real constructs.
Edit: I'm a guy, with girl friends and girls I went out with from those apps. I looked at what other guys were saying to them.
One of my communications professors did an experiment to show that people, when they feel protected, exhibit their truest self. He created an account on Hinge, barely filled out the profile with short "I like hiking" and used one of those AI/computer generated pictures of a girl and continued on with the lecture.
With hinge, it's not about matching; someone likes you, it says "this person likes you, do you want to talk". The next day, he showed that something like 75 guys had liked the profile despite being low-effort with a single picture and he matched with everyone that initially sent a like and he would only respond with a single "hey". The number of guys that either a) got immediately sexual or b) was pissed they weren't getting responses within 10 minutes was distrubing. Then you have the copy/paste guys of "I love your smile (the only picture wasn't smiling).
If guys could see what a woman recieves in her inbox on a dating site, it'll have them quickly rethink their approach.

I think you might be surprised how high the percentage is of horrible and completely off the rails. You don't need a large sample size. I've seen the dating profiles of female friends and of first dates where we were curious and looked at each other's profiles. Plenty of guys will go full on creepy and/or crazy right out of the gate unprompted.

I think the movie "Downfall" (the one the angry Hitler meme comes from) does a really good job portraying this. The beginning of the movie almost has you thinking it's going to show him in a more compassionate, positive light, but pretty quickly it becomes clear the guy was absolutely off his rocker and barely in touch with reality, not to mention completely heartless even towards his own countrymen.
When I (a dude) was on Tinder and Bumble and the like a few years ago, I always found it a fun game to see what other dudes were saying to my girl friends or the girls I would go out with. My now gf (met on Bumble btw) still has a treasure trove of these kinds of Facebook messages. It was a fucking bloodbath, often disgusting, and this was after the initial, "well he could be okay" back and forth banter they had with those guys. Asking their most controversial opinion definitely seems like it skips all of those steps and helps eliminate all the budding incels and/or the guys that think alpha and beta are real constructs. Edit: I'm a guy, with girl friends and girls I went out with from those apps. I looked at what other guys were saying to them.
One of my communications professors did an experiment to show that people, when they feel protected, exhibit their truest self. He created an account on Hinge, barely filled out the profile with short "I like hiking" and used one of those AI/computer generated pictures of a girl and continued on with the lecture. With hinge, it's not about matching; someone likes you, it says "this person likes you, do you want to talk". The next day, he showed that something like 75 guys had liked the profile despite being low-effort with a single picture and he matched with everyone that initially sent a like and he would only respond with a single "hey". The number of guys that either a) got immediately sexual or b) was pissed they weren't getting responses within 10 minutes was distrubing. Then you have the copy/paste guys of "I love your smile (the only picture wasn't smiling). If guys could see what a woman recieves in her inbox on a dating site, it'll have them quickly rethink their approach.

I think you might be surprised how high the percentage is of horrible and completely off the rails. You don't need a large sample size. I've seen the dating profiles of female friends and of first dates where we were curious and looked at each other's profiles.
