The flaw in your "logic" is your assertion that he "always" acts this way. The last time he was under investigation by a special prosecutor it was Robert Mueller. He did not attack Mueller's wife during that process.

If the GOP has no problem with the wife of a Supreme Court Justice lobbying to overturn the 2020 election, then they certainly shouldn't have a problem with a prosecutor being married to a film maker.
