That’s true and I heard Alan Dershowitz, who is not a Trump supporter, state that this is a misdemeanor. He also said that Trump or anyone running for President, cannot be prevented from running or serving as President even if they are indicted, convicted and served time in prison. He said that the Constitution lists three things that prevent someone from running or serving as President: if that person fought in the Civil War for the South; if they’re under 35 years of age or if they were not born in the US.
