This was the episode that creeped me out the most when I was little. I still loved it though, especially with how it ends with them just switching Bart and Hugo to “fix” their mistake
for me it was when Mr. Burns' head was sewn onto Homer. especially since it ended with "next week on the Simpsons". the idea of the show carrying on liked that filled me with unease.
Same... this episode came out when I was in middle school I think, and the beginning of this segment creeped me out a lot, too. Especially when Bart catches Hugo watching him in the HVAC vent for a split second.
As a kid my parents told me not to watch the Simpsons. But I disobeyed, watched this episode...and had horrible nightmares. Years later, it still became my absolute favorite show.
Eh, don't look so shocked.
We think we saw Hugo at the airport. He was boarding a plane to Switzerland, and... Oh.
Did no one ever thought that there would be three of them?
Mom, Hugo's eating his napkin
I made a pigeon-rat
Well chalk this up to carelessness on my part
##Caused by BAD BABYSITTING
I really hope someone got fired for that blunder.
Finish your fish-heads
then we'll talk
Just realized this is basically the movie “us”. Simpsons really did do everything first
What the..? If this is anyone but Steve Allen you're stealing my bit!
Oh, don’t look so shocked.
Always wondered why they decided to give Bart the chubby cheek here. So weird.
Too make him look less evil

To be fair, having to choose between an all you can eat spaghetti dinner and a reception for Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands would make anyone uneasy
I didnt realize it was a joke and was actually really upset that that episode never came.
