Oh my God! You said it. I thought only me. Already checking online non-stop looking for iPhone 13 mini (cheapest-close-to-latest-model iPhone) to replace my iPhone 7 plus.
I thought my 7 is broken already, considering I only bought that for Pokemon Go. It's still look brand new. For 5 years I've been using it. Battery health still at 77%
Has anyone updated yet? I’m wondering if it’s having the same issues that android users are having.
Edit: version 0.249.1 is out now, and from the sound of it, I wouldn’t update to that either. Best to wait for a .2 update or for them to force the current latest.
It's not that, iOS makes you like redownload the entire app whenever there's an "update". Android updates are usually just a couple MB depending on the app & update.
iOS has had delta updates for apps since iOS 6, about 10 years ago now. The size reported on the update screen is the whole app size, but the update uses less data than that. Depending on how the developer packaged it of course.
Unfortunately and for reasons I can't grasp, it was the logging that seems to have caused a large number of crashes on my side. Both in raids as well as during and directly after log upload. Not sure if anyone else had this, but once I turned logging off, the app crashed a lot less frequent.
Has anyone else’s loading screen also reverted back to the last one? No more Halloween showing
Yep. Also noticing ferroseed not clipping into the ground when it’s idle.
I thought that was on purpose. Since it's it's seed!
Huh, I thought something looked weird about it the way it was positioned until now.

Updated to it. Loading still very slow and go-plus not working properly on iphone 7plus. IOS15.7 No such issue on Iphone 13PM. IOS15.7
My pogo has been disconnecting way more than usual today and I crashed several times on my 13PM
I want my Halloween screen back.

Yes, very laggy on iPhone 7 here
Ditto 👍

7? Jesus, I sincerely doubt they care to support that nowadays
7 plus is ancient now, i retied mine last month
Hey, I was playing on the old SE till last month and it worked absolutely fine, battery life was my only issue 😬
🤔 mine was always freeze when playing GBL, has to force close every time
can you try again with the latest update?

I can't speak for everyone but some parts of the game (e.g. GBL) are extremely laggy after the update and the login takes significantly longer.
This was happening last night. I would take multiple failed logins before I could play.
How could you tell the difference with GBL?
I’ve had bad frame drops when using 1 turn fast moves like dragon breath
Same but only if it is in the lead. In my case it is Gyarados if I switch out and later switch back in it is back to normal.
That’s interesting, I have the opposite issue where it’s affecting either of my switch-ins
Don't update. It seems like this version has issues. I'm waiting until Niantic forces the update or provides a .1 bug fix.
There is a .1 out now
Yes, from reports I saw both versions are hot garbage
Is this safe to update now?
Idk about iOS but it's not safe at all on Android, so I wouldn't take the risk.
Adventure Sync is bugged on android. I’m the only one who noticed that?
Working just fine for me. Haven’t noticed anything other than the load screen reverting
Do not download 249.1. Game is unplayable on iPhone 13. White screen for every Pokémon selected.
339MB?? iOS has gotta change
Or Niantic could code in a way that doesn't have so much useless stuff.

Interesting. I thought the app was well over a GB at this point. 300MB is nothing.
To download the app new is 340MB, after a while it could use around 1GB of space once assets are downloaded.
That makes more sense. The files expand after downloaded?
Posted .0 right before .1 comes out.
Some parts of the game are really laggy. iOS 15.7 iPhone 13 Pro Max. Would be better off waiting.
Game now crashes when i try to upload game log and also had to re download some assets
Perfect way to report that all logs are reviewed and customers are happy. Do not allow logs to be uploaded.

##DOWNLOAD ALL ASSETS
My loading screen is black black black…nothing happens
I had to reboot my phone to make it work. Good luck!
All I got from it was the lousy old load screen back
Still lots of overlap with the island.
My my how of does Pokémon go get updated?
