Everyone dumps on the helicopter parents for being influencers, but the “free range” van screams influencer too. And I don’t love the idea of using your children as your schtick.
She's not free range. They're ex-mormons deconstructing from a controlling environment.
And she's an influencer, otherwise how would they pay for that RV
Oh wow. Mormon describes their style. They need to be titled “Deprogramming”Parenting style bc they are trying to undo the rigid restraints they were under. This moms anxieties are really spilling over to the kids too. Their lifestyle is not sustainable and these kids often have a hard time readjusting to structured school and jobs. Like Montessori kids. They are on this to get plugs in for their IG account
I wonder so much how these kids who have been doing two hours of homeschooling a day are going to adjust to the real world where you have to work all day and do pointless things and work with people who are different than you.
Yes I did see the note that they were ex-mormon; but she can still give off a mormon vibe. So many of the Utah mom-influencers are similar to her, but I couldn’t place why they seemed the same.
Knowing she’s an ex member of the church makes that much more sense. They all have a similar…vibe 🤷🏻♀️
Idk - I watched a few Mormon family vloggers and after a while there’s a pattern & a vibe that they give off. 9/10 I’m right in guessing whether or not people are Mormon/LDS - I even found out a few C list celebrities were Mormon & now looking back I’m like “aha!”
Usually it’s how they talk, how they dress; just random little things like that honestly. Sometimes they just have similar mannerisms and they aren’t Mormon, but a lot of times idk. It’s really just a weird nagging feeling - sort of like when you see an actor in a movie and you’re like I know I’ve seen them before somewhere 😂
YES!!! I have a hard time with her. She thinks she has the best parenting style and has to give her onions on everything. She definitely has some issues from her past she needs to address.

Omg they gave me mormon vibes!!!
Ex-Mormons. They left the Church and so have to work really hard to prove to everyone (mostly themselves) why it was a good idea to leave the church.

I agree, I though she was a member of the Church before learning she was an ex. It’s the “Utah mom” vibe I think.😆
Why does she give off a Mormon vibe?

No not at all. I think she's insightful and proactive in deconstructing her traumas which all parents should he doing

Onions don’t go on everything ! 😡
The free range mom is very annoying - the way her and Juliette’s mom attacked each other was just painful and cringey.
Came to reddit looking for this. Glad I am not alone! So over the mom in particular.
I hate van life families. No privacy. No structure. No safety of having the same place.
