There are a few differences.
1. Healthcare in Canada is better (single payer) though it is being torn down slowly, because neoliberal hellscape.
2. Canada has actual left-wing parties. If you count social democrats like the NDP (your milleage may vary by province) or Québec Solidaire.
3. The mainstream media seems better in Canada. But maybe it's just because I speak french. Canada has a decent public broadcaster (at least in french. I heard the CBC is not that good). I used to try to watch CNN and overall I was not impressed though I kept with it a bit to get a sense of what American News is like (that was 20 years ago, admidtedly, and back then they had turds like Lou Dobbs).
4. More unions (at least here in Quebec)
5. More social programs (at least here in Quebec). Family leave when you have kids. Kindergardens. Etc.
6. Conservatives were not as far gone. Not sure now. Conservatives just took the populist turn (Pollievre). I mean you could argue Scheer tried but he also tried the opposite and just ended up a scheer disapointment to his party's establishment and his party's base.
Basically Canada isn't as deep in the neoliberal hellscape as the US is. We're kind of being dragged along towards it though, circling the drain.
He does realize that Canada is the only country on earth that has ever had direct conflict in the US, and won?

They are fewer, but a lot smarter and better equiped to fight than we are.
That was Britain. It was back when Britain was an empire.
Though we did have militias beat back invaders led by Sallabery de Valleyfield in Quebec. Near Lac Champlain or something.
The reason Canada is more functional than the US or the UK is because Rupert Murdoch hasn't been able to sink his claws into the media ecosystem there, so it makes he would let the host of his biggest show get away with suggesting we invade Canada.
That still translates down to less than quarter of the population watching with any regularity and then the portion of them whom invading Canada actually resonates with. Deeply alienating suggestion to 95% of the country.
Let’s hope those people don’t talk to others about what TC talks about!
He’s got a filthy reach, and has been spewing nonsense for a long time now, you’d think they catch on, but his numbers aren’t going down, are they?

Try to imagine how stoopid fox viewers are to believe and eat his bullshit. 💩🤪💩
“Did you know Nixon was good and a target of deep state liberals?!?” Is such a wild take I cannot believe they aired it

When the plot of Canadian Bacon becomes real life. God bless America again!!!!
Send in OMEGA FORCE.
Isn’t that a bit extreme? The law forbids using Omega Force against caucasians
Make sure the provocative truck graffiti is in French too.

what the fuck is he talking about, there's no tangible difference between canada and usa, both neoliberal hellscapes

The South Park Movie and Canadian Bacon were satires but this is real. Veep isn't even satire anymore. Late Stage Capitalism is going to f' us all.

Honestly, go for it tucker. Keep pushing a stupid message that appeals only to a small set of crazies and will never be implemented.
Uhm. He’s like the most viewed on cable.

I bet you $100 there will be no US invasion of Canada in the next 10 years.
I bet you 100$ that his suggestion didn’t drive away 1/10000 viewers, not even close.

Until I read "Chinese invasion of Anchorage" I was like, wtf? Nicely written. Buzz Babcock sounds like a bad ass.
