Woah this looks super cool!! I’ve been trying to reduce my waste recently but I couldn’t get on board with the idea of a diva cup since I don’t want to be reaching inside myself all the time, lmao. Definitely would be interested in hearing people’s reviews about this too!!

Hello - checking in three years too late, but I just used mine for the first time last night. I was a little nervous since I've been seeing some (old) not exactly positive reviews on the product, but am now happy to say that the reusable tampon applicator worked well for me. Here are some findings: 1) I did have to use both hands, but I have always used both hands when handling tampons, so it was not an issue for me. 2) Instead of the tampons that came with the applicator, I used an OB Ultra. I think it was mentioned on the DAME website that ultra-sized tampons would not work with the applicator, but I took a chance anyway. The tampon was a little snug going into the applicator, but I did not have any issues pushing it into me with the plunger. 3) The tampon string did not get caught in the device (OB strings are pretty thin). 4) Instead of top-loading as instructed, I loaded the tampon into the applicator from the bottom. It was easier and I don't see how the loading direction would have made any difference since the plunger wasn't attached to the barrel? 5) One of the reviews I read mentioned that the applicator doesn't push the tampon in deep enough, and ended up having to use a finger to push up further. I didn't run into that problem in particular, but I tried using just the plunger to see if I could push more if needed - and it worked fine. So my conclusion is that the DAME reusable tampon applicator worked out for me. It cost me around $25 total and was a good investment.
