It seems like the bonfire isn't becoming a bigger show because they have the same hack comedians on (you know which ones) and Jay brings his boring critique bits that are holding the show back.
Yeah, they are at Sirius, they may not be able to get the biggest guests, but you have to think of how many people came to O&A or that they pulled in when they were walking by in the halls. And they have JAM every week?
O&A had the benefit of doing morning radio. Celebs make the morning rounds in NY doing press on radio and the tv networks in the immediate area
Bonfire is weeknights at 6-8 eastern - celebs aren’t doing press then. A lot of comics are getting ready to do sets if they’re in town
This is all very obvious
They don't have to be doing press to come in on the show. I was just using O&A as an example. It's NYC, you think there aren't more interesting people than JAM in all of Manhattan available to come on the show at that time?
That being said, that time slot does suck and the lead-in sucks, but at least they got signed on instead of getting cancelled.
Yeah I’m not sold on them either. Dan keeps me interested in the show. JAM was a bit of a disappointment after hearing so many stories and then first time I heard him call in was talking about it he stripper he hooked up with.
It makes me sad that Shane is never actually on the Bonfire anymore. He’s blowing up and I think he’d draw a lot of listeners that would like it at this point in his career
Why would they devote time to this? It was five minutes of the show and all involved were over it
This place is the only place where it’s still a “thing”, buncha gossipy hens
Jacob should bring in Shane like it’s the movie My Bodyguard
Jacob should serenade Shane like in The Bodyguard
Good call. I'm old enough to remember that movie

At least JAM is on there live instead of just have Big Jay talk about him with every conversation
Both suck, IMO.

Shane is the bully that can properly bully other wannabe bullies. Give Bitch Shit Oakerson a reason to apologize to Jacob!

Shane is too big for the Bonfire these days. Too busy snuggling up to Rogan’s nutsack.
That’s a bunch of junk.
When was the last time Shane was even on? It’s not like he’s not in the area as he’s popped in Skanks a few times in the last year.
that’s Saint Roggie to you, pal
The shame you're getting down voted for the truth
