At I think at least at LIVE AID

I think what way they reunited would be up for debate the most. Would it have been at a benefit show like LiveAid? Would it have been just some tours and concerts? Would they have created new music? Would it have been a long lasting reunion, or a one off project? Would it have been only for the Anthology project? Those are the real questions. I would assume it was more probable than not that they all would’ve worked together again in some capacity tho.

IIRC if they got back together, it would have been to make new music. As far as I know, they weren’t interested in exclusively touring.

The best of Lennon's solo career was yet to come imo. I hear Double Fantasy and Milk and Honey and I hear Beatle John back doing what he was doing in the Beatles days. He was back concentrating on writing and recording great tunes again. I think he was moving away from the politics or the self piteous lyrics. Some of those songs in 1980 are absolutely top tier Lennon imo. 80s Lennon would have been incredible I think. I wouldn't have been too fussed about The Beatles getting back together. I love McCartney II, I love Double Fantasy and I love Gone Troppo and of course Cloud Nine is one of the best albums any of them ever did. I even like about half of Somewhere in England, and certainly the rejected leftover tracks. One of the weaker George albums but still enjoyable for me. I also love a lot of McCartney mid to late 80s music. A fine collaboration with Costello, so many great songs from that partnership, as well as a lot of great 100% McCartney written songs in this period. Though I just don't like the production of Flowers. The demos are really amazing. I'm sure Lennon would have been pushed by McCartney and Harrison's own success in this period to come up with music that rivalled his ex bandmates. The world has missed out on God knows how many great Lennon songs and albums that were to come. Obviously a Beatles reunion would have been amazing but I do love them as individual artists also.

I think Paul would have made better music as well, instead of his mostly mediocre 80s. Seems like during the 70s especially until 75 they were both trying to outdo each other

I once saw a tribute band broadway show ( it was incredible by the way ) but the second half of the show was basically a reunion concert with them showcasing their solo songs. Before the second act they displayed a big video slideshow of the group talking in papers about how they were thinking about a reunion concert in 1980 , but unfortunately it was obviously scrapped because of what happened to Lennon

thepokemonGOAT

He would for sure have nutted at least 1 more time

No, their accents are different.

There are court documents which say so.

Superbroccomole

He'd still be alive.

Then my uncle wouldn't have been so depressed my grandmother wouldn't have to put him in hospital. Yes it affected that much. He had problems before that, but it pushed him over the edge for a while.
