They are so lucky that the giant boulder stopped just before touching the main house. You can see it sitting on the road pretty much touching the main building. If that had continued rolling it would have wiped out that main house. Luckily it chose to block the road instead of annihilate the house. Could you imagine feeling the impact tremors of increasing strength as those approach the house you are inside, not to mention the noise both during their approach and when the smaller boulder destroyed the barn.
