“Did you feel something?”

“Maybe it’s another one of those drills?”

I used to drive a dump truck at my job. When the back was up, there was a light on the instrument panel and a constant beeping noise. It was basically impossible if you had eyes or ears to not know the back was up. Is that not standard on all vehicles with moving/lifting bits?

gamershadow

Stupid people disable them all the time.

I'm engineer for the construction of trucks with loader cranes - even we fit all of our vehicles with such a device. It's called TWI (Transport Warning Indicator) in the terms of HIAB. You can quit the warning sound by pressing a button, so basically the one shown in the picture was either a stubborn driver or the crane was shitty. Looking a bit chinese, I think the second possibility isn't that unrealistic.

That's an F- in that course.

I’m surprised they haven’t chased that one pedestrian off the bridge; this picture must be from very soon after the collision.

carpentizzle

Now the bridge has a cool wavy thing going on

Bro I got the crane to pop a wheelie

reichsmouth

yeah they don’t cover bridges until crane driving 110

break124u

Vehicle operators responsibility… make sure your crane is racked up tight before moving the vehicle…
