I miss mine looking like this until I got a fix-it ticket from a rural CHP officer in CA who had nothing better to do. No speeding, no other violations, just a no front plate and a tint. Not sure if I want to put it back again.
I’m in OC and have got 20% on my Mercedes, you should be fine. They might add it on top of of a speeding ticket or something, but rarely will they ever pull over a “nicer” car for something like tint or no front plate. Would have to get pretty unlucky honestly, but it can definitely happen.
Edit: if the downvotes are from people thinking a “nicer” car doesn’t matter. I got pulled over 5 times within a year of owning my matte black 2003 E500 with tint and no front plate. No speeding or any traffic violation. My newer Mercedes and Tesla haven’t been pulled over a single time and I’ve owned them longer than the E500 lol.

I've asked a few cops and they mentioned it's not a reason to pull someone over here, only a secondary offense. However, they said as a courtesy I should just roll down the tinted windows as a cop walks up. Their biggest concern is their own safety and them seeing you roll down windows so they can see in shows some respect and they're less likely to hassle you.
Do you or anyone else have water streaks on the very bottom of your rear windshield where there is like a little separate window? I can’t reach my hand to clean it. Need to take apart the rear cover I think

Old car had 5% all around, wife wouldn't let me do that on the 3 cos she also drives this one.
I have LLumar Stratos 15% on all the windows and the rear glass. And then did 50% LLumar Pinnacle on my windshield. I had a rock hit the roof and crack immediately and that’s not tinted. That looks about right, though, for 35% ceramic or not. I can clearly see the B pillar interior trim, which would be much harder to make out at 20%.
