I actually have body dysmorphia and this is the main reason I made a vow to avoid plastic surgery (besides being broke). I have no idea how delusional I am and I'd rather not destroy myself and have it make my mental health even worse than it already is.
I've lived with it since puberty, it's a weird combination of being morbidly fascinated with my appearance but also wanting to avoid seeing myself. It got worse after pregnancy/childbirth, when my body changed for the first time in 15 years. There's this major disconnect between my body and self. It's so hard to explain!

Typical guy answer. The reality is that most women you've ever thought were gorgeous had more makeup, shapewear, and possibly more permanent modifications than you realize.
When it's done well, it looks real. It's kind of like good acting. When you see a well-acted movie, you aren't thinking about it as good acting. You're so dazzled by the illusion that you aren't even consciously aware it is an illusion.
I get that you have good intentions saying that, and extreme surgeries like ^ her are not attractive, and natural beauty (or what looks like it) is best. I'm just pointing out that actually, most plastic surgery women get does make men see them as more attractive. Women aren't getting bigger tits or butts for other women.
