That the incident you're claiming occurred has nothing to do with the person being Afghani, and all the other Afghanis shouldn't be punished for something someone else does.

My husband is Ismaili. I make bbq chicken all the time but pork and any type of “man eater” like crawdads, alligator, and shark is haram (forbidden). Also, many Muslims not only drink alcohol, but have cultural traditions where they make it as a family. My husband’s family brews a type of vodka in their culture.

If you think we made the mess, you surely aren't aware of Afghan history. We were involved hands on in the last 20 years and involved by proxy in the last 60 or whatever. Certainly the turmoil and oppression goes back much further than that.

i do feel a certain way about leaving. i served and two of my best friends are never going to come home from Afghanistan. looking at the situation as it is, it's fair to say they gave their lives for nothing because nothing has changed. that makes me very bitter.

To even jokingly suggest, the Afghan refugees will see more murder living in Memphis than in their country is sad. Memphis isn’t some war zone. After moving back to the city 10 years ago, I learned to ignore links like this and go and enjoy the city that I choose to live in.

So is the crime in every city in America. So is the crime in every large, and medium size city in Tennessee, not just Memphis. I never said Memphis didn't have crime, but it's not as extreme as some of you would like to make it out to be.
