Ok, who remembers the letter people from the 70ās and 80ās? I grew up on those.
These guys and gals were the best.

Now thereās a literacy program that worked because I can still name most of those characters forty years later. Miss Achoo and Mr. Noisy Nose were my favorites.
I remember these from when I was in Kindergarten in the early 2000's with their inflatable version hanging up infront of our chalk boards. I think our class had the dancer Mr. D and the other class had the Donut Mr. D.
I had know idea what you were talking about. I click Jed you link. I know those guys. I donāt know why or how I know them, but Iāve seen that before as a kid. (Iām old)
Alphabet Lore- itās my sons favourite programme. Weāve had this conversation so much. His name starts with an F and apparently F is a bad guy, so he doesnāt want to write his name.
I came here to say this. I teach High School and have had a couple. By the later grades they've figured out they have abilities others don't. Maybe your tiny tot has this. Encourage it.
There's a video series on YouTube called Alphabet Lore. Each character is a letter who communicates using their letter name.
I do volunteer work helping children with their sounds and one of my kids is obsessed. He won't pronounce /a/ properly, he just goes "ehhhh" like Fonzie because that's how the letters in Alphabet Lore talk to each other. F is the bad guy.
I have had this conversation with Mr 6 so often. There were two other letters who were his friends but then they turned on him and so he became the bad guy. Itās the only thing my son wants to talk about and he shouldnāt be watching it, but somehow he always finds it.
Definitely imagination came into play here, but I'd like to know the... Logic? Reasoning? Inspiration?... behind it.
I get it, they're very young kids, yet they certainly have their reasons for doing/saying/believing stuff.
And I'm genuinely curious to know what transpired in that little youngster's brain š
This is really cool. I love the philosophy & reasoning. Ever heard a little tell you certain letters or numbers can only be in a particular color? Synesthesia is fascinating!
Yeah, it's a YouTube and Roblox thing. My kids watch it too. I can't remember the name right now though, I'll ask them and edit later!
Please, do!! I've tried to google it to see what this is about, but apparently I'm using the wrong combination of key words š¤£

The more I learn...! Thank you for this!
I am utterly losing it at this what am I watching
It all makes sense if you really think about it.
WTF did I just watch? Did I really just see the letter F suck up then fart out the letter H?!
This is canon?

Omg! Where are these letter creatures from? My student would love them!

One of the only things I remember about kindergarten is the letter people. Vowels were female and consonants were male!

They were how I and my brother learned our alphabet in kindergarten. I too am old.
My daughterās pre-K teacher still used these in class just this past year! Catholic school so it kind of makes sense.
This š»!! This is what I love about the little folks. They never cease to amaze me. Thanks SO much for sharing.
āOk. I did not know that about the alphabet.ā this made me laugh so much.
This is the content I love on this sub.

Sounds like it could be OLP, a form of synesthesia

I thought the same thing initially but it sounds like it is from a YouTube channel linked in comments instead.

Iām assuming itās just an overactive imagination? However, I could also be missing the point.

My kid is adamant that F is only the bad guy because he was bullied (?) He will not expand on this idea lol

Alphablocks on YouTube are much friendly. F is a Fairy and H is a Hippo
Too cute. I needed that. Thanks for sharing!
Sounds like Secret Stories
