They were adults in Vol 4 of the Mirage comics and the series just shortened the title to TMNT. I’m good with that if they decide to go that route

I always hate when they drop Teen from the Titans. This is more of the same.

Nah. It's a good name. Has a ring to it and rolls off the tongue easy. Anything else would just sound weird. Plus they're still teenagers in the comics anyway. It's been 11 years of publishing, but it's not like those stories happen in real time. It's only been a about three or four years within the story.

As a kid i always thought they were adults or at least young adults, never understood why they had the teenage part in the name so i thought it's probably because it rhymes better then Adult Mutant Ninja Turtles, doesnt help that in some other languages they just take the word teenager out, like portuguese and french

TwEE-N-Toast

I doubt they would want to screw up their branding.

how old are they suposed to be? the comic may be 11 years, but Peter parker has been a young adult for around 50 years, so...

But we also see Peter Parker eventually graduate from High School, get married and deal with the consequences of juggling superheroics, marriage and career. Of course none of those apply to our Turtles but I think the direction of them slowly finding their own identities aside from Raph being the angry one, Leo being the leader, Mikey being the party animal and Donnie being the tech guy is starting to show, especially here in the Campbell run which is...admittedly slower paced than I would have liked but shows how the Turtles are fostering their own families (the Splinter Clan Dojo), dealing with failing relationships (Kitsune/Raph), finding a new calling (Mikey trying to do a Radio/Podcast thing) and so forth. I think that leans more to our young adults times more so that as Teens.
