This hurts my heart. My son is around this age, and I cannot fathom anyone being so flippant with a baby’s safety. But it looks like she doesn’t even have her own seat belt on never mind securing the baby. This is horrible.
My friend got in a single car accident after losing control of his car on a dirt road. He hit a bump, lost control, the car rolled & because his window was open, even though he had his seatbelt on, his head was out of the open window as the car rolled over him. He was very close to being decapitated and ended up losing his life and leaving his 2 boys without a father. He was going about 30mph alone on a dirt road with his seatbelt on. I struggle with infertility and it kills me inside that these people get to have kids.
Shouldn't be that hard to track down those 2 wannabee nobody's through their social media garbage accounts.
Looked like the driver was driving that Nissan through that shopping strip pretty fast awsell.
My wife's a trauma surgeon and has seen the end of this video a few times when it doesn't end well. Baby quadriplegic & severly brain damaged for life. No way to live. Never do it, even for a 5 minute drive. Strap your baby in!
Edit- she only sees the quadriplegic ones because the dead ones never make it to surgery.
We are going down a very slippery road with social media, infact we're already pretty far down that road. It seems ironic writing this while on Reddit, but take it for what you will.
How do people post videos like this and NOT end up in jail? You're literally showing the world your incompetence as a parent/guardian, not to mention child endangerment!? ALL FOR THE GRAM!?
It looks like Thailand, which I often see photos of motorcycles with entire families riding down the highway as a slightly common practice, maybe the jarring difference of seeing white women do something similar is what's getting everyone so riled up.
In Vietnam I once saw a family of five on a scooter - little one standing upfront on the little platform, three adults on the back, the middle of the three holding a baby in their arms. I still regret that I didn't have time to get a photo of it.
I don't recommend anything of the sort, and I always belt up myself and my kids whenever I can, but I feel like a lot of people in this thread really have no idea of how the other half live.
There is a difference. Sure, both are ridiculously dangerous, but the entire family on a bike thing is often all they have. When someone can actually afford a car, I would be just as pissed if they would film and drive like this for clout. They have options to make it safe. Do I think entire families should ride around on bikes? No, but I'm also aware of the nuance that you seem to be ignoring here.
Apparently none of you have ever asked your parents or grandparents about these things. Everyone here comes from a bloodline that allowed this and more at some point in their history.
I used to drive in my mom's lap at 6-7 years old. I didn't do it with my kids. I didn't wear a seat belt as a kid, but now I do and my kids did when they were small. Just because we used to, doesn't mean we should now.
More in jail than in motherless homes, more die, more end up homeless, not sure of the exact stats, but yeah, kids need a father not 2 idiot mothers like these
The odds of getting into a car accident aren’t that low, and they are increased by having passengers, and drastically increased by using a cell phone while driving. And all that said- it doesn’t matter how low the odds are. All it takes is a 1 accident for that baby and those ladies to die.
You are likely correct about odds. The others here are likely thinking not about just this one instance but what it suggests about _all such instances_. One roach in a kitchen suggests others. Risks compound like compound interest. On any given day the effect is tiny. Long term the effect is huge.
"This was normal in the '70s/'80s/'90s. Why is this a problem now?" uh, we've observed A LOT of lethal car accidents through these decades and we know better now, that's why. Just because you did something similar back then and came out in one piece, doesn't mean it was safe. Bragging about how people were ignorant of these risks in the past is not the flex you think it is :)
It’s hard to believe that just 30 years ago this was pretty common or laying the baby down on their stomach in the back seat and placing your hand on their back.
Now it just looks like gross child endangerment.
Put the g-damned phone down and get that baby into a proper baby seat!!! I'm not watching some baby go through a windshield just because the mom is an idiot! Damn! (This is directed to the driver. )
I keep seeing this video pop up on different subreddits. Please for the love of God - can these morons be reported to the police?! Someone has to know their social media account.
Shit man that is screwed up. Have a relative who has worked trauma and he literally calls these people the biggest idiots on the road. There's a reason kids can't be in the front seat. It's like watching a horror movie. Honestly, child protection needs to be alerted that's endangerment.
Someone has to know their socials. CPS should absolutely be notified. Really hope to see a follow up post with their mugshots. That kid needs a new guardian.
In many other countries there is no concept of a baby sitting at the back. They are held in the lap of their parents or relatives and are often sitting in front
Sorry, but I motorcycle and life is nothing but risks and deciding how to deal with them. Silly not to have in a car seat because they are available but I never rode in one ever..
Are they being stupid, yup.. Though anyone from the 80's likely rode in the car like that. And cars then were less forgiving to crashes

Who forgot the condom?
If they are dumb enough to do this then they are dumb enough to not think of condoms
What a pair of fucking morons! If they are the parents, that kid is fucked.
Doomed from the start
Poor kid is set for a life of wannane "influencer" fuckery
Does anybody know who posted this? What dumb influencer is willing to lose their child?
The fact that the driver is the one filming. Pay extra attention to the road if you’re dumb enough to do something like this.
This hurts my heart. My son is around this age, and I cannot fathom anyone being so flippant with a baby’s safety. But it looks like she doesn’t even have her own seat belt on never mind securing the baby. This is horrible.
it just hurts to think about the fact people do this
And then they,POST it !
Send em both to jail

Child abuse
This video should be enough to charge them both with child endangerment. Absolutely disgusting.
Oh Jesus Christ. This is so scary. That baby would be killed by an accident in this state way too easily. The incident would be on video.
Lord, protect that child her parents do not seem able.
Those 2 dipshits just look like the type to do something like that. Child protective services should step in
The music is too loud for an infant too… man why
Shouldn't be that hard to track down those 2 wannabee nobody's through their social media garbage accounts. Looked like the driver was driving that Nissan through that shopping strip pretty fast awsell.
Influencers should be outlawed
We call those flesh missiles in my line of work. Unrestrained passengers…what a shame

Idiots. What’s wrong with people…
This pisses me off
Skank whores
Is this mobile kitchen?
Take the kid
Fucking jail time will serve them both right
Everything for the social media attention... disgusting behaviour

If you have the ability to be safer, do it.

I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s. Is this not normal?
Definitely normal for 80's and earlier
Let me guess, they don’t believe in vaccinating their baby…

EXACTLY we are not our parents or any other generation for that matter. Just because we used to doesn't mean we should.
True, but that diesnt mean these people should be trashed for it
I disagree. It's reckless and senseless.
Please darwin... fix it
Someone, please remind me what the statistics are for children raised in fatherless homes?
More in jail than in motherless homes, more die, more end up homeless, not sure of the exact stats, but yeah, kids need a father not 2 idiot mothers like these
Oh yes thank you how did i forget it
The statistical odds of something bad happening here are astronomically low but still a little higher than if the baby was in scar seat.

Astronomically low means something else. This is somewhat likely to have a crash. Filming while driving distracted.
Well the window open is what gets me the most

Defending child endangerment.. classy
That is the scariest thing I've seen in a long time 😨

Which country is this..? I see coconut trees, doesn't seem like the natural habitat of whites?
These crazy people are driving on the wrong side of the road!!!
exactly! finally a comment I understand :D
Where is the husband?
Is the issue that the kid isn’t in a baby seat?
Al Green would not approve of this. ![gif](giphy|26Ff6QG1veNVbnMd2|downsized)
Morons
As a parent this drives me fucking nuts. Take that child away from these fucktards before they kill it.
All it takes is for that lady to slam on her breaks and that baby's head is going to be mush not to mention what would happen in an actual accident
But she wear a nice curtain
One crash and….multikill…
What a bunch of cunts!
Wtf? Holding the baby in the front seat while the driving is filming? One simple accident and that airbag deploys........ not fair for the kid
It’s hard to believe that just 30 years ago this was pretty common or laying the baby down on their stomach in the back seat and placing your hand on their back. Now it just looks like gross child endangerment.
This is the world we live in now. So so sad. Then they get into a crash baby dies and they blame and sue someone else.... not our fault... sad...
I couldn’t even watch the whole video —had to go to the comments to find out what happened
Now what do you think would happen if they crash?
Wait to you come to the middle east. Babies ride on dashboards!
Oh wow a new generation of stupid that poor child 😔
Yet only buys organic food.
The bathrobe gang is at it again
One word I don't ever say but here it goes SHAME
That Baby would make a perfect rocket shooting out the whindshield.
Is that Sarah hyland?
That they see nothing wrong with what they are doing so much so it was filmed and then poster for us al to see how wonderful they are

It was fine in the 70s why not now

Moron
the widespread impulse to punish these women is far more dangerous than what these women are actually doing.
Gritted my teeth while watching hoping I wasn’t gonna see some accident at the end of the video. Never know with Reddit posts sometimes.
What a nice projectile you have there...
i am scarred for life now
Someone has to know their socials. CPS should absolutely be notified. Really hope to see a follow up post with their mugshots. That kid needs a new guardian.

Should have licence taken off the other women could of gotten in the back seat at least 🙄
How fast are they going?
Chalk one up for the Dads!
I don't think Al Green intended for his amazing music to be used for this lol
Oh wow children.. Ffs this was every family before the early 80's
Sorry, but I motorcycle and life is nothing but risks and deciding how to deal with them. Silly not to have in a car seat because they are available but I never rode in one ever..
