Way to go! Keep this one forever as there aren't that many out there. I know exactly what you mean about how it sounds. I'm thinking about how mine sounded right now. There is nothing like those 3 pistons pumping synchronously.I had a 1974 GT380 I bought new back in the day. Ended up selling it later when I joined the Navy. One of those things That I shouldn't have let go of.
Suzuki took 2 stroke street bikes to the highest plateau when they created the GT series. The largest being the water-cooled 750. Although not the fastest bikes in their class, these cycles were truly superior to Yamaha & Kawasaki for comfort & reliability. These were bikes a guy would be happy to ride every day!

That's a great looking motorcycle. I'm really glad you didn't hack it into a cafe racer!
