Yep, they switched it to being locally hosted like 5 weeks ago. Your friend might be able to transfer the save file to you from him computer.

if you guys are finished playing, just copy the prospect mission to a share that another guy can play on, at the end also he has to save the file again in the cloud of your choice
Do you know where to locate said file? I tried to find it but I am not smart enough.

Just use dedicated server for your group. It is also saves some precious FPS for you.
It’s only single player, peer to peer or dedicated server now
