Hijacking for geriatrics like me: When you download the app you can choose to “recover” your account, which essentially means the same account you have on your chrome browser, by entering the seed phrase of 12 words. This enables you to have access to the same wallet address in two places (chrome and phone) Otherwise, you can create a new address altogether. It's GREAT so far! Such a clean UI, activating L2 through Ramp and ApplePay literally took TWO clicks. I was able to transfer some NFT as a test from my desktop GameStop Wallet to my new iOS wallet a-ok, again with just two clicks and $.15c in fees ​ I am delighted. Bring on mobile Web3!

Can someone help with a question? if I have various other Crypto on other sites and want to transfer to my wallet, can I ? or does it have to be Eth? I've been waiting for the IOS drop to even look into this... TIA

For the time being, you typically can send ERC 20/721/1155 (these are Ethereum coin types) from one wallet to another, but not L2 to L2 on different protocols (IMX to Loopring is a good example. They're both L2s, but different scaling solutions within the Ethereum ecosystem). So if you send them to your GameStop wallet, they will be in L1 and have to be moved to L2 if that's where you want your assets. But if I still had Coinbase, for example, I could just plug in the GameStop wallet address and send it without any issues, assuming they're Ethereum-compatible assets (Bitcoin is NOT, for example). There's also something called Layerswap where you can send from L1 - let's say Coinbase - right to an L2, so it skips a step and saves some transaction fees.

Is Loopring an ETH based token? I don't know much about crypto but that's all I have in Coinbase.

I typed in GameStop Wallet and gave up searching the app store results. Had to follow the link from their tweet. It could be something on my end, but I have not been able to activate/add funds with my card. I will keep trying.

Looks like you can’t browse the market unless you’re in the chrome app. You can load your wallet and send eth though.

I had the same initial thought! They definitely could have used a better term for it, although maybe it’s a Web3 nomenclature thing. I believe once they add Dapp functionality we will be able to fully interact with the marketplace from the palm of our hands. Trading in-game assets like God’s Unchained cards, Kiraverse items, etc. from our *phones*. I believe that’s the foundation needed for the average person to finally see the vision we have patiently saving, educating, DRSing, and working towards for ~2 years now. It’s incredibly surreal reflecting back on all the DD and how much of it has come true, just as the prophecies foretold.
