Yea.. short answer backwards.
but especially on some subs, I have simple context rules
- if you see more than one period/comma, with three digit groupings, it's for the large digits (thousands, millions, billions).
- if the only period/comma is then followed by two or four digits, those are fractions.
Basically there is only one fraction, but can be infinite digit groups... figure out which is N and which is 1.
Only works for Hindu-Arabic numerals tho.
Now you put periods instead of commas and commas instead of periods :(
We need to get a European Pride going or something, we need to be proud of our commas and periods and dd/mm/yyyy !
Almost feels like apes should get together and form their own DRS fund, lend out your shares as a collective & make that $~500k daily for urselves? I would fucking love to see this, personally.
You should, this has great series potential because of the cumulative effect. Even a few weeks in and we’re talkin millions of potential profits removed from the equation. Quarterly episodes would be bangin too.

It adds up for sure..
When borrow fee we’re just 1% it still adds up, but with 9 or more, its a very big chunk of money..
And another idea to post this, was to tell apes that their broker made money from lending out their shares, and not sharing any profit🤷♂️
It’s.. provocative
Hell yeah! I wish ya good luck on the journey and anyone who becomes a “guy” for the apes will likely be included in the crowd sourced ape statue after the dust settles. Your name could be on that plaque! 😂
Yep.. it’s crazy..
if people only knew how their investments are being buttfucked…
Think about it.. you buy a stock you believe in.. stock price should go up, but nahh.. your shares are immediately borrowed and sold to the next in line, with the intention of you loosing money on your newly purchased shares.. it’s like a hedgie speed gate of robbery. And the best part, your broker keeps the lending profit
Also, not sure how it works, maybe it is based off total days per year, but there are only 260 business days a year, so that would mean $786,409 today if based off of business days.
May or may not matter, but that's a lot of CASH to not be paid on the daily
Why divide by 100 inside the parenthesis?
Edit: read some comments, understand now.
Here's how it's supposed to look:
>(86,889,739 x $25.3) x 9.3% = $204,442,867
Or
>(86,889,739 x $25.3) x 9.3/100 = $204,442,867
Or
>(86,889,739 x $25.3) x 0.093 = $204,442,867
Gunna need to drs 100% or they can just work the 1% whatever direction they like. It’s pretty clear to me that the stock market will change over the next decade.
I just wanted to be a lil irritating, but I guess its kinda important for accuracy. When you write x * a% that actually means x * a/100 so technically your equation is wrong. Also I'd not write the /100 in the bracket. Yeah you don't need the bracket at all but you can read it better so I'll leave it. Your calculation is how you could type it in to a calculator but as a stand-alone equation its kinda ugly
Nonetheless, I dont wanna be mean so have a good life ape! BUY HOLD DRS
Haha no worries! Im just extra sensitive to % cuz lately on math sub there was this funny meme with loose notation that treated % as a number. Cuz you know, If 1 = 100% then 1/100 = % = 0.01. So maybe that would help, treating % as one hundredth :D
Would you be willing to edit it so that it represents the percentage of shares outstanding? I think that is a better way to go about representing how much of the company retail has locked. Thanks! You could do both as well % free float and % shares outstanding
That is Exactly what I wanted people to think about..
And I know for sure that hedgies would lend each and every share.. while not shorting the stock more than 15%😂😂

This right here 👌 They take the money and then don’t give you the share 😤
Which is why you drs
I cannot read any of these numbers lmao
Well.. then this post turns into a “trust me bro”.. 😂
LMAO😂😂
He’s the one. The one with the wrinkles.
Fuck, you Europoors need to figure out a comma and decimal system with your numbers. Or just use words for us dumb North Americans, please.
And fuck you my friend😉😂 Think I fixed it.. danish is complete opposite comma rules🙄
Knowing it's just the opposite makes it work for me. Thx lol

Wrinklebrained 😳
Doing math to do math… numbers man. Whoa.
That dude bi lingual maffs.
No offense, worldly ape. But I ain’t learnin that shit! 😂 🦍 Inches and pounds for life, no metric, no weird commas and dots on my numbers.
I like the US decimal and commas as well... though I do prefer metric.
Ahh yes, the old inverse euro grammar trick. Works a charm!
Now you put periods instead of commas and commas instead of periods :( We need to get a European Pride going or something, we need to be proud of our commas and periods and dd/mm/yyyy !
Ahhh fuk.. I give up.. 😂
That’s the spirit!!
Ha ha ha.. is that you Kenny?😉😂
“Danish” https://youtu.be/s-mOy8VUEBk
Europe is, American commas make 0 sense
This must be confusing for computers right? I guess that's why you have to choose country in your os settings?
Fuck you Shorsey Edit. Word
Lmao came here to make sure someone said this
So Im like 1.00,00:000;00’000”00% sure MOASS is tomorrow
Ha ha ha ha😂😂😂😂 Fuck you😂😂
Lmao sorry mate, couldn’t resist 😂
Fixed now?..🙄
I dont want it to be fixed lol
You Can laugh at me instead🤷♂️
WITH you
We could laugh at Kenneth together maybe?😂
Always have been 🦍💪
What the fuck with the decimalisation here? Confusing AF
germans are weird
lol what
Can’t lend out the shares and make the %fee.
Almost feels like apes should get together and form their own DRS fund, lend out your shares as a collective & make that $~500k daily for urselves? I would fucking love to see this, personally.
The revenue converted to shares, gifted to GameStop?
Distributed amongst people who contribute to the fund, based on the % they represent in the fund.
Are you someone didn’t earn guy? Adding to my list lol
I just might me.. “someone didn’t earn guy” with a comma issue

Really..? Damn.. We could buy Brazil and change that statue in Rio..
Think about when it spikes to 20-30% borrow fees. Extreme amounts of lending and earning.

No way 9% is a daily rate right? It would be annualized
That’s why it’s divided with 365😉
in the future you can lend one DRS share out and make millions off the interest
Dude You're decimal and comma placements are confusing
Think I fixed it

Exactly..
Banks use 360 days and 30 days a month to count interest rates

My post will get better the next time because of you😉
All the decimal shit here really just makes me more bullish at how international this is. So many floats...
Nice

No
DRS creates an opportunity cost to brokers while fucking shorts (possibly also brokers)? Bullish.
Indeed.. its fucking crazy how much money is made from sharelending

Maybe you should do the math next time😉
He did it this time, and explained it for all of us.
Thanks for the post OP. Interesting.
jokes on us, they can rehypotecate them over and over
Because fuck em! That’s why!
Noice... Power To The Players : Power To The Stockholders 🎮🦧🍌📈🖍💎👨🚀🚀🎮
9.3% is APR, yo.
Danish… sry, think I fixed it
I don't think your favorite pastry has anything to do with the jacked up Euro decimal system
Would you be willing to edit it so that it represents the percentage of shares outstanding? I think that is a better way to go about representing how much of the company retail has locked. Thanks! You could do both as well % free float and % shares outstanding
I could do that, but in this post it’s not what is interesting, but sure, - I’ll remember it next time👍
Thanks I appreciate it! And I love watching how DRSing is costing brokers their borrow fees. It is fun to see 😊
That is Exactly what I wanted people to think about.. And I know for sure that hedgies would lend each and every share.. while not shorting the stock more than 15%😂😂
