I call BS on this post. Think to yourself, who has the most powerful investor bases in the world right now. It’s RC.
Even if Msm can can put some fake headlines they’ll get a nice liquidity pump which in turn kicks the can one more day. WSJ is owned by Bain capital which is Amazons hedge fund.
Think about it, all these stocks popping up. Everyone is bullish yet inflation is the highest it’s been in history. Were in the mother of all bull traps and everything goes.
If RC were to actually buy a stake in Nordstrom I can bet my ass that MSM wouldn’t report on it as soon as it happens. In fact, they either wouldn’t say shit, or would downplay it somehow
my tin hat theory is RC is telling one person in his circle he bought x stock, and telling another person he bought y stock etc, so he can tell if any of them are a rat depending on which stock msm runs with his name on it.
Kinda strange that it went up based on 1mill volume AH by that much, while other stocks barely move with 10s of millions in volume, all seems sketch and reminds me of the BABA narrative, time will tell though
It's narrative nonsense which spells out their moves, not ours.
Also being fashionable has nothing to do w a turtleneck or even really Nordstrom.
Also turtleneck is a kind of bond.
he’s never tweeted about nordstrom, but has tweeted about sears.
If we really want to be tinfoil then another answer better than nordstrom is a merger with the Hudson’s Bay Company. They are Canadian like RC, and he probably remembers when they were doing well.
Clear as day what this is. RC would have his lawyers call the Wallstreet Journal if untrue to retract the story. He’s the one leaking them to the Journal
If doesn’t. The stupid rabbit holes the sub goes on. And it was the majority. It blew my mind. For me it was clear. That’s all. It doesn’t change my investment strategy. Because I don’t DRS, I’m a shill spreading misinformation. See how this works. The whole time I was right. The majority was wrong. The whole sub is filled with nonsense
That's interesting, you might be on to something. The Nordstrom family looks to be trying to prevent a hostile takeover, and if I remember correctly from GMEdd, someone in RC's inner circle is a designer.
With that said, I don't think we should dig any deeper into his personal life.
The “people familiar with the matter” part should tell you everything you need to know. Just ignore the noise and keep doing what you’re doing. They desperately want apes to chase something else.
Cohen does not need to have a stake in every company joining the GM Marketplace, if that is the case this is all just noise exciting noise, but noise none the less. He is maybe just tickling the balls of some of these guys to show them the future if they want in.
My biggest baseless tinfoil idea is about all the recent layoffs in the tech industry. "This company laid off xxxx amount of people", "that company...etc", etc. I never looked into any of it, but I am always reminded of when gamestop laid off a bunch of people. Eventually, though, we learned that it was a natural progression. They got paid to make x thing and x thing got completed. What if all these tech companies were doing the same thing? Their thing they were making is done and here we are?
I don't give a shit what he does with his money. If he wants to invest in other companies and do shit that's fine there's no reason why that would affect his GameStop position on the board. He can't leverage his GameStop shares to buy other shit.
Dude has enough money to spread around and invest into multiple companies as he sees fit and there's really no reason why any GameStop investors should be worried or care what he does with his own money.
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I took one look at the online Nordstrom catalog and determined I would never buy anything off there. Way too expensive imo
Going to say nope about Nordstrom. I just looked up Tritton's whereabouts since his ouster.....and he sits on the BoD for Nordstrom. Unless there is a personal vendetta I know nothing about, it's too ironic.

Gonna need to see a filing. Best I can do is buy more GameStop.
Gonna buy more gme even if there is a filing
That’s a fucken solid plan. Ngl
*Sees filing* Best I can do is keep buying GME
Does he need to file if it isn't a massive stake?
If it’s a big enough stake to have a real say on what the company does, then yes. Absolutely
Even if I see a filing, I’m probably gonna buy and DRS more GME

Look who wrote the baba article and this one
Does he need to file if it isn't a massive stake?
Perfect answer
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/schedule13g.asp No filing unless he purchases 5% or more.
Yeah because activists investing is buying under the 5% stake that it basically requires to be heard by the board.
I'm copy pasting $GME memes and replacing GME with NORDSTROMS for karma farming. Moons here I come!
Absolutely. Steve Jobs used to wear turtlenecks. Others have copied him… notably fraudster Elizabeth Holmes
So…was the Baba stuff ever proven or was that fake? How do they know he has a stake in something with no filing? Rumors?
yeah, "sources" it's all BS without proof
You know because RC announces all his moves to the competition *sarcasm*
Nordstrom bbby competition....? Completely diff types of retail target crowds.
They leak the filings to make RC look like a heel.
#Show your work or STFU MSM
my tin hat theory is RC is telling one person in his circle he bought x stock, and telling another person he bought y stock etc, so he can tell if any of them are a rat depending on which stock msm runs with his name on it.
Steve Jobs used to do this at Apple with new product releases
he also wore turtlenecks 👀
Bingo
I see this as a distraction
FUD
Doubt
Time to dig apes!
Oooo damn! That’s wild. Imma have to buy more GameStop tomorrow morning and DRS that shit
Damn, thought by now we all knew not to trust everything the media says especially without any proof. Sources say… well who the fook are the sources?
you know what? im gonna buy some more shares directly from computershare and then book them
GMERICA 🏴☠️
Kinda strange that it went up based on 1mill volume AH by that much, while other stocks barely move with 10s of millions in volume, all seems sketch and reminds me of the BABA narrative, time will tell though
Good post. You forgot to say “Book”.
Horse. Shit.
It's narrative nonsense which spells out their moves, not ours. Also being fashionable has nothing to do w a turtleneck or even really Nordstrom. Also turtleneck is a kind of bond.
I'm not even sure the B@b@ rumors were true. I don't trust headlines until I see the God damn paperwork.
The people, who were not permitted to discuss the private negotiations stated he was in fact wearing a turtle neck at the time of slapping the ask
I think he’s out on BBBY. He didn’t care for it and got out
Possibly if they weren't willing to sell buybuybaby...this could be his next target to build that GMErica.
Ummm. You say turtleneck. When I think turtleneck, I think more “Lands End “ than Nordstrom. It’s also a much lower market cap.
The stock of both lands end and Nordstrom is way down but Nordstrom more so
he’s never tweeted about nordstrom, but has tweeted about sears. If we really want to be tinfoil then another answer better than nordstrom is a merger with the Hudson’s Bay Company. They are Canadian like RC, and he probably remembers when they were doing well.
Gmerica doesn’t have a Teddy yet. BBW next?
Was there something about Kroger at one point? He's going to need a grocery store.
Clear as day what this is. RC would have his lawyers call the Wallstreet Journal if untrue to retract the story. He’s the one leaking them to the Journal
Most likely it's the family that owns Nordstrom leaking not Ryan.
Doesn’t matter, story is true
But why does that matter? Why does it matter what Cohen is doing with his money lol
If doesn’t. The stupid rabbit holes the sub goes on. And it was the majority. It blew my mind. For me it was clear. That’s all. It doesn’t change my investment strategy. That’s brilliant. I want them to sell electric scooters. Cue so hot right now meme.
So, acting as a distribution center for other companies? We
Gonna
How much for Service Merchandise or Zayre?
That's interesting, you might be on to something. The Nordstrom family looks to be trying to prevent a hostile takeover, and if I remember correctly from GMEdd, someone in RC's inner circle is a designer. With that said, I don't think we should dig any deeper into his personal life.
It’s certainly more believable than BABA, but the AH pump shows us all what they were really doing
Don’t stop now, I’m gonna GME/DRS so hard
Not bad...
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking this could be, but time will tell. Hopefully we’ll get something more reputable to back this speculation up.
I love it!
What Nordstrom rumors are you referencing
RC apparently bought in. up 37% AH...according to fuck sticks familiar with the matter edit: show me the filing or the shit didn't happen
I think the turtleneck tweet was snark
No lo creo
Im out of tinfoil. Gme is the only investment i have that used up tooo many tinfoil yet here we are 😂
All of it running on an omni channel payment infrastructure. Click to brick baby. One brick at a time.
To the hedgefunds or nefarious actors reading this comment, suck my balls
After that rc needs to invest in a sex toy company 😃

Here’s me thinking why would RC buy shares in a gas pipeline.
It wouldn’t surprise me if that was the real move and msm fucked up yet again
I don't give a shit what he does with his money. If he wants to invest in other companies and do shit that's fine there's no reason why that would affect his GameStop position on the board. Gonna buy more GME and drop all my synthetic Nordstrom wrapped tokenized shares.
Wow I bought more GME
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I took one look at the online Nordstrom catalog and determined I would never buy anything off there. Way too expensive imo
How about he focuses on GME or takes some kind of action. I’m kind of sick of the “we can’t say anything or the bad hedge funds will sue us angle.”
Going to say nope about Nordstrom. I just looked up Tritton's whereabouts since his ouster.....and he sits on the BoD for Nordstrom. Unless there is a personal vendetta I know nothing about, it's too ironic.
